1 Psalmus David.Dixit Dominus Domino meo : Sede a dextris meis, donec ponam inimicos tuos scabellum pedum tuorum.2 Virgam virtutis tuæ emittet Dominus ex Sion : dominare in medio inimicorum tuorum.3 Tecum principium in die virtutis tuæ in splendoribus sanctorum : ex utero, ante luciferum, genui te.4 Juravit Dominus, et non pœnitebit eum : Tu es sacerdos in æternum secundum ordinem Melchisedech.5 Dominus a dextris tuis ; confregit in die iræ suæ reges.6 Judicabit in nationibus, implebit ruinas ; conquassabit capita in terra multorum.7 De torrente in via bibet ; propterea exaltabit caput.

The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.
2 Virgam virtutis tuæ emittet Dominus ex Sion : dominare in medio inimicorum tuorum.rod|||will send||||rule||||
2 The Lord will send forth the rod of thy strength from Zion: to rule in the midst of thy enemies.
3 Tecum principium in die virtutis tuæ in splendoribus sanctorum : ex utero, ante luciferum, genui te.|beginning||||||in the splendors|||||the morning star||
3 The beginning was with you in the day of your power in the splendor of the saints: from the womb, before Lucifer, I begot you.
4 Juravit Dominus, et non pœnitebit eum : Tu es sacerdos in æternum secundum ordinem Melchisedech.He swore||||he will not repent||||priest||||order|of Melchizedek
4 The Lord has sworn, and will not repent him: You are a priest for ever according to the order of Melchizedek.
5 Dominus a dextris tuis ; confregit in die iræ suæ reges.
5 The Lord is at your right hand; He broke the kings in the day of his wrath.
6 Judicabit in nationibus, implebit ruinas ; conquassabit capita in terra multorum.|||he will fill|ruins|will shatter||||
6 He will judge the nations, he will fill the ruins; He will shake the heads of many in the land.
7 De torrente in via bibet ; propterea exaltabit caput.||||he will drink|||
7 He will drink from the stream on the road; therefore he will lift up his head.
