Lesson 28 - Living Abroad

I think the hardest part about living abroad

is problably getting used to a totally new place and not having friends.

A friend of mine moved to Sweden a few years ago and according to him

not knowing anybody isn't what you should worry about. He said that cultural differences are the main source of problems

and that it's essential to be adaptable and open-minded if you wish to better understand the way things work in the country.

Anyway, I think everybody should spend at least a few months

abroad in order to develop different skills for life.
