Mr. Orlando's Joy of Art: Apple | CBC Kids - YouTube
Mr . Or la nd o: Th is i s th e Jo y of A rt w it h Mr . Or la nd o.
[humming] Ha!
There is no time for dancing, Tony.
[sighs] Maybe later.
Okay!
Hello, and welcome! Oh! You are just in time to paint,
and I am joined today by my art deputy, Tony.
That's me, and you're looking pretty fresh, Mr. O.
[chuckling] Thank you very much.
And speaking of fresh,
today we will be painting a fresh apple.
Ooh. So grab your favourite art supplies, your imagination,
and draw with us, won't you?
Tony, Tony...
You are the art deputy, let the art sheriff handle this.
Yes, sir!
Thank you!
Now let's start with a nice, candy apple red paint, okay?
Okay.
I'll just draw a...
..letter "C" like this.
Nice, big, capital "C".
And...then we will draw a backwards "C",
so a mirror image of our first nice, big "C"...
..like...this!
Ah! I "C" what you mean.
[laughing]
Easy on the jokes, deputy.
Yes, sheriff.
Now next, let's connect the top of the "C"s
with a wavy line, just like that,
with a little bit more paint, and then connect the bottom
of the "C"s too.
One more wavy line coming up!
Oh! And there we have our apple!
Apple-so-lutely!
[chuckling]
But it's missing a stem, so let's use our brown paint
to make a little line at the top, just like that.
And maybe we'll just add a little bit more there,
and we are going to use the green
to make a nice, little, apple-y leaf!
Oh! I can't be-leaf it.
[sighs]
Sorry.
That's fine.
And finally, we will use, again, our red paint
to colour in our red apple.
Oh! Isn't that a beautiful colour red?
This is sometimes my favourite part, just taking our time,
and filling in our apple.
Like...this!
Whoa!
Ha-ha!
Oh! This painting is the apple of my eye, Tony.
Nice! Ooh! Make that two delicious apples.
Oh! Tony! Well done.
Thank you.
Mm.
Can we dance now?
Oh, I really couldn't--
Oh, if you insist!
Yes!
[laughing]
Whoa! Mr. O, you're doing "the worm"!
[laughing]
And there's a worm!
Hm?
Ha! Oh? Double worm!
Oh, very nice!
Nice!
Go worm, go worm, go, go, go worm!
Go worm, go worm.
Oh! Go worm, go worm.
[humming]
Go worm!
