Harrison Ford Donates Han Solo Jacket to Benefit Epilepsy Research

Chewy, I've got a good feeling about this. Actor Harrison Ford has donated Han Solo's iconic jacket from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" for a very noble cause. Earlier this month, Ford revealed that his 25-year-old daughter, Georgia, has suffered from epilepsy since she was a child. Ford donated the autographed jacket to an auction benefitting the NYU Langone Center's research to find a cure for epilepsy. The 73-year-old star credits Dr. Orrin Devinsky and the medical center for properly diagnosing his daughter and helping her stay seizure-free for the past eight years. The brown leather jacket appeared in scenes on board the Millennium Falcon, in the forests outside Maz Kanata's fortress and in the grim belly of the Starkiller Base. Online bidding has started at $18,000 and will conclude in two weeks. The online auction site describes the jacket as being extra special as Ford wore it for his final "Star Wars" appearance.
