そして 私 の 勘違い ワード や フレーズ に も 反応 いただけて 、ありがとう ございます 。

一番 の 人気 は "humongest "でした ね 。 humongous を " humongest "って 勘違い して たって いう 。 皆さん 、新しい 流行 語 として 、使って いただいて いい です から ね 。

私 が 最近 ハマって いる もの や 、気に なっている こと 、お気に入り の 商品 など に ついて お話している コーナー です 。 この 前 、日本 の 友達 と 脱出 ゲーム を した んです よ 。

それ が すごく 良かった ので お 話したい んです けど 、 皆さん 、脱出 ゲーム って やった こと あります か ？ 結構 流行ってます よ ね 、って か 、もう 流行 遅れ な んです か ね 。 私 も 「脱出 ゲーム 」と か 、ここ アメリカ でも 「 Escape Room 」とかって 良く 聞いて た のって 結構 何 年 か 前 だった 気 が します 。 初め に 脱出 ゲーム 云々 って 私 が ね 、耳 に したり 実際 目 に した の は 、 もう けっこう 何 年 も 前 の スマホ の ゲーム で 、

引き出し に 鍵 が 入ってる とか 、扉 に 何か 仕掛け が ある とか 、ちょっと した ヒント を 得て その 部屋 から 脱出する っていう 、 ま ぁ そのまま 何 です が 、そんな やつ で 、

で 、現実 に 、実際 に 脱出 に 挑戦 できる ローケーション が 、

日本 に も ある んです か ね 、

アメリカ に は 、各 町 に 「 Escape Room 」って 実際 に 体験 できる 脱出 ゲーム が ある んです よね 。 行った こと ない です けど 。

どんな 謎解き を する の か とかも ね 、行った こと ない ので 知ら ない んです けど 、

けっこう 周り に も 行った こと ある 友達 が います 。 で 、で です よ 、コロナパンデミック が 発生 して 、

家 でも 楽しめる 脱出 ゲーム って の が 流行 照る んです よね 。 知ってます か ？ いや 、私 も わから ない 、流行 最 先端 人間 で は ない から 、この 家 でも 楽しめる 脱出 ゲーム って 今 でも 流行ってる の か 、 はたまた 、もう ちょっと 遅い 流行 な の かも しれない です けど 、

とにかく 、ずっと 興味 が あった んです よ 。 なんか 面白 そうだ なって 。

その ね 、家 でも 楽しめる 脱出 ゲーム の いい ところ って 、 別の ローケーション に いる 友達 と その ゲーム を 楽しめる って やつで 、 なんか 楽し そう じゃ ん って 思って まして 、 そんな 時 に 、

日本 の 友達 から 脱出 ゲーム し ない ？ って 誘って もらって 、二つ返事 で OK し まして 、

で 、やりました 。 なんか ね 、詳しく ない んです けど 、

日本 で よく ある 、 その ー 、 流行 して いる お うち で人気 な 脱出 ゲーム は 、

家 に 脱出 に 必要な 謎 を 解く ヒント の 書類 と か 、マテリアル ？ なんて 言う の 、ヒント の 鍵 ？ ツール が 届く んです よ 。

謎解き パッケージ が 届く んですって 。 で 、それ を 使って ゲーム を 楽しむ って の が どうやら 良く ある やつ らしい んです けど 、 今回 は 、日本 の 友達 と 、そして アメリカ に 住んでる 私 で 一緒に 遊ぶって こと で 、 そういう 郵送 で パッケージ が 必要 って いう の は でき ない なって 思って 、 その ヒント パッケージ が 要らない バージョン の 脱出 ゲーム を 探して 、やりました 。 今回 は 友達 と 私 の 2 人 で 脱出 ゲーム に 挑戦 した んです けど 、

結果 、

めっちゃ 楽しかった です 。 なんか どんな 脱出 の 謎解き を する の か なって 、全然 前 情報 なく やった んです が 、

正直 、脱出 の 謎解き って いう より は 、 なぞなぞ と か クイズ 、特に 言葉 遊び 的な クイズ とか が たくさん あった イメージ で 、

ある なし クイズ 的な やつ と か 、

あと 何て いう んですっけ 、あー 、ど 忘れ 。 あの 新聞 の 後ろ から 2 ページ 目 とか に ある やつ 。

何 だっけ 、パスワード 、違う 、クロスワード か 、そい う やつ と か 、 あと 漢字 の 部首 と か 偏 と か の パーツ が 並んで て 、それ を 組み合わせて 言葉 を 作る みたいな 、

そい う の が あったり とか 、

そういう の を 解いて いって 、

さらに こっち の 持っている ツール と 、妖怪 ？ 怪獣 ？ みたいな 敵 の 弱点 と か その 時 の 状況 を 考慮 して

攻撃 の 戦法 を 考えて 攻撃 ー ！ みたいな やつ を 入力 したり する やつ でした 。

けっこう 難しかった イメージ で 、

対象 年齢 は 中学生 以上 って なって た けど 、私たち 大人 だ けど 問題 に よって は けっこう 苦労 して 、 想定 プレイ 時間 が 100 分 から 120 分 とかって 書いて あった んです が 、

クリア まで に どの くらい かかった と 思います ？ 4 時間 です よ 。 倍 。

4 時間 も かかった の ー 。

や ば くない ？

そして 4 時間 も ネバる 私たち 、やばくない ？

謎 の 答え も 含めて 、良く できて て 、

え 、ヤバ 。 これ って 、ここ が 、こう なって 、こういう こと ？ え 、まじ で 、

こわ 。

本当に ？

って 言い ながら 、

すごく エキサイト して できました 。 最後 の 最後 で 思いがけない 罠 に ハマって 時間 を くって しまって 、それ が 4 時間 と いう 、 とても 長い プレイ 時間 に つながった と 思う んです が 、

とにかく とても 楽しかった です 。

また やりたい な ーって 思います 。 本当 は 、その 謎解き キット みたいな やつ を 使う バージョン の 方 が 楽しい らしい ので

それ やりたい んです けど 、 まあ 、海外 まで それ 郵送 して もらえる の か な 。 だったら できる か な 、ちょっと 調べて みよう 。

はい 、でも 、そういう の を 使わない バージョン の やつ でも

友達 と 時間 を 取って 一緒に 楽しむ の 、とても 良かった ので 、やって みて ください ！

検索 したら 、英語 でも 色々 出て る みたいです ね 。

バーチャル escape ゲーム とか 、オンライン escape ゲーム とかって 検索 する と あります ね 。 皆さん 、やった こと あります か ？ でも さ 、日本語 の ゲーム でも 苦戦 してる のに 、英語 で クリア できる の かな ー 。

最近 あった あれこれ を ランダム お 話したい と 思います 。 まず 、うち の 甥っ子 が 先日 高校 を 卒業 しました ー ！ おめでとう ！

うち の 姉 側 の 甥っ子 な んです が 、 大学 入学 の お 祝い と して 、我々 夫婦 から MacBookAir を プレゼント しました 。 少し 前 から お祝い で パソコン を 買って あげたい って 話して て 、 Macが いい と の リクエスト を もらい 、そう しました 。 私 たち 夫婦 は 日本 に も あまり 帰れて いない し 、普段 誕生日 プレゼント とか お年玉 とか 全然 そういう おばちゃん おじちゃん っぽい こと できて いない んです けど 、 今回 は 人生 の 中 で も 大きな 区切り と いう か 、新しい 生活 の スタート って こと で 、何か 役立つ もの を と思って プレゼント した ので 喜んで もらえた ようで 良かった です 。 元々 、日本 に 居た 頃 から も 住んで いる ところ も 離れて たし 、頻繁に 会ったり 連絡 を 取ったり するって わけで なかった んです けど 、 歳 を 重ねて 大人 に なる に つれて よく 話す ように なった 的な 存在 でありたい な と 思って います 。 東京 の 大学 に 進学 する って こと で 、もう すぐ 引っ越し なんで すって 。 ワクワク ドキドキ だ よね ー 。

もう 一人 暮らし する 歳 な の か ー 。 なんか 感慨 深い です ねぇ 。

甥っ子 に も 直接 話したり ライン でも 伝えたり した んです が 、 何 か 困った 時 は 連絡 して きて 欲しい な と 思って います 。 困った に も 色々 ある と 思う んです が 、

特に 自分 の 親 に は 言いにくい 相談ごと とか 、ヤバい どうしようって ピンチ の 時 、これから 先 色々 出てくる と思うんですけど 、 頼れる 大人 が ね 、今 は アメリカ と 日本 で 距離的に は 少し 遠い です が 、それ でも 、

両親 の 他 に も ね 、ヤバい って 時 に 話せる 人 が いる よ ーって こと を 忘れ ないで ね って 伝え ときました 。 そんな オバチャン で いて あげたい な と 思ってます 。 いや ー 、 もう 新しい こと 盛り沢山だ よ ね 。

大学 で の 勉強 も もちろん 、一人 暮らし も 、新しい 人たち と の たくさんの 出会い も 、バイト とかも ね 、

他 に も たくさん 色々な 刺激 を 受けて 楽しんで 欲しい な と 思って います 。 ちなみに 、姉 の 下の子 、妹 も 中学 を 卒業 して 高校生 に なります 。 早い ね ー 。

姪っ子 に も ね 、入学 祝い を 準備 したい と 思って います 。 おめでとう 。

夫 の お姉さん に も 姪っ子 甥っ子 が 2 人 いる んです が 、 前 ね 、その 姪っ子 、お姉ちゃん の 方 は 1人 で アメリカ まで 遊び に 来て いたり も していて 、 今度 は 甥っ子 も 来た ー いとも 言って いて ね 、 コロナ が 落ち着いて 、来年 に なる の か 、再来年 に なる の か わかりません が 、また こっち に 来た 時 は 色々 体験 させて あげたい し 、 うち の 夫婦 に は 子供 が いない ので 、その分 と 言って は あれ です が 、 甥っ子 姪っ子 の 成長 を おばちゃん おじちゃん と して 見守って いきたい です ね 。 合計 4 人 、甥っ子 姪っ子 いる のです が 、おばちゃん らしくない 、友達 の ような 、そんな おばちゃん に なって いきたい な と 思います 。 あと 話 が 急に 変わる んです が 、

この 前 DMV に また 行って きた んです よ 。 DMVって 運転 免許 センター な んです が 、 免許 証 の こと で 。

ずっと ポッドキャスト 聞いて くれて いる 方 は 、あれ 、まだ 免許証 の こと 解決 して ない の ？ って 思わ れる 方 も いる かも しれません が 、 そう な んです よ 、まだ 解決 して なかった の 。

元々 は 、去年 の 8月 に 免許 の 更新 だった んです が 、アメリカ 滞在 の Visa の 更新 手続き が 間に合って なくて 、

手続き は して いる ものの 、完了 して ない から はっきり と した 「visa 延長 できてます よ 」って いう 書類 が 手元 に まだ 届いて なかった んです よね 。 運転 免許 の 更新 に は 、その アメリカ に 滞在 する 許可 が ちゃんと あります よって いう 書類 が 必要だった ので 、 仮 の 免許 は なんとか 発行 して もらえた んです けど 、免許証 、カード です ね 、プロセス が ストップ して まま で 、ずっと 仮 免許 の 紙切れ を 持ち歩く って 生活 でした 。
