Uns meses antes, em dezembro de 2000, o Carsten, meu namorado gringo, tinha vindo ao Brasil passar o Natal comigo, e nós estávamos aguardando a visita de duas amigas, que iriam passar o fim de semana conosco no apartamento, e por isso tínhamos que fazer uma pequena limpeza antes de recebê-las.

Porém para ele, proveniente da Dinamarca, "wash the floor" significava passar um pano úmido no chão - mas esse detalhe eu só descobri meses depois, quando me mudei para a Dinamarca!
