Revelation 20
**20·1** ¶ Καὶ εἶδον ἄγγελον καταβαίνοντα ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, ἔχοντα τὴν κλεῖδα τῆς ἀβύσσου, καὶ ἅλυσιν μεγάλην ἐπὶ τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ.

**2** καὶ ἐκράτησε τὸν δράκοντα, τὸν ὄφιν τὸν ἀρχαῖον, ὅς ἐστι διάβολος καὶ Σατανᾶς, καὶ ἔδησεν αὐτὸν χίλια ἔτη,

2 And he cast out the dragon, the serpent of old, which is the devil and Satan, and cast him out a thousand years,
**3** καὶ ἔβαλεν αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν ἄβυσσον, καὶ ἔκλεισεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐσφράγισεν ἐπάνω αὐτοῦ, ἵνα μὴ πλανήσῃ τὰ ἔθνη ἔτι, ἄχρι τελεσθῇ τὰ χίλια ἔτη· καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα δεῖ αὐτὸν λυθῆναι μικρὸν χρόνον.

3 And he put him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and sealed him, that he should not deceive the nations until the thousand years were fulfilled: and afterward he saw him redeemed a little while.
**4** ¶ Καὶ εἶδον θρόνους, καὶ ἐκάθισαν ἐπ̓ αὐτούς, καὶ κρίμα ἐδόθη αὐτοῖς· καὶ τὰς ψυχὰς τῶν πεπελεκισμένων διὰ τὴν μαρτυρίαν Ἰησοῦ, καὶ διὰ τὸν λόγον τοῦ Θεοῦ, καὶ οἵτινες οὐ προσεκύνησαν τῷ θηρίῳ οὔτε, τὴν εἰκόνα αὐτοῦ, καὶ οὐκ ἔλαβον τὸ χάραγμα ἐπὶ τὸ μέτωπον αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν χεῖρα αὐτῶν· καὶ ἔζησαν, καὶ ἐβασίλευσαν μετὰ Χριστοῦ τὰ χίλια ἔτη.

4 ¶ And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and the souls of them that were hewn down for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and that worshipped not the beast, nor his image, neither did they take the mark upon their foreheads, nor upon their hands: and they lived, and reigned after Christ a thousand years.
**5** οἱ δὲ λοιποὶ τῶν νεκρῶν οὐκ ἀνέζησαν ἕως τελεσθῇ τὰ χίλια ἔτη.

5 And the rest of the dead lived not till the thousand years were fulfilled.
αὕτη ἡ ἀνάστασις ἡ πρώτη.

**6** μακάριος καὶ ἅγιος ὁ ἔχων μέρος ἐν τῇ ἀναστάσει τῇ πρώτῃ· ἐπὶ τούτων ὁ θάνατος ὁ δεύτερος οὐκ ἔχει ἐξουσίαν, ἀλλ̓ ἔσονται ἱερεῖς τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ τοῦ Χριστοῦ, καὶ βασιλεύσουσι μετ̓ αὐτοῦ χίλια ἔτη.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: of these the second death hath no power, but they are holy unto God and Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
**7** ¶ Καὶ ὅταν τελεσθῇ τὰ χίλια ἔτη, λυθήσεται ὁ Σατανᾶς ἐκ τῆς φυλακῆς αὐτοῦ,

7 ¶ And when the thousand years were fulfilled, Satan was loosed out of his prison,
**8** καὶ ἐξελεύσεται πλανῆσαι τὰ ἔθνη τὰ ἐν ταῖς τέσσαρσι γωνίαις τῆς γῆς, τὸν Γὼγ καὶ τὸν Μαγώγ, συναγαγεῖν αὐτοὺς εἰς πόλεμον· ὧν ὁ ἀριθμὸς ὡς ἡ ἄμμος τῆς θαλάσσης.

8 And he hath stretched out the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, and hath gathered them together to war: whose number is as the sand of the sea.
**9** καὶ ἀνέβησαν ἐπὶ τὸ πλάτος τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἐκύκλωσαν τὴν παρεμβολὴν τῶν ἁγίων καὶ τὴν πόλιν τὴν ἠγαπημένην· καὶ κατέβη πῦρ ἀπὸ τοῦ Θεοῦ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτούς.

9 And they went up to the breadth of the earth, and destroyed the interference of the saints, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and consumed them.
**10** καὶ ὁ διάβολος ὁ πλανῶν αὐτοὺς ἐβλήθη εἰς τὴν λίμνην τοῦ πυρὸς καὶ θείου, ὅπου τὸ θηρίον καὶ ὁ ψευδοπροφήτης· καὶ βασανισθήσονται ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτὸς εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are: and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
**11** ¶ Καὶ εἶδον θρόνον λευκὸν μέγαν, καὶ τὸν καθήμενον ἐπ̓ αὐτοῦ οὗ ἀπὸ προσώπου ἔφυγεν ἡ γῆ καὶ ὁ οὐρανός, καὶ τόπος οὐχ εὑρέθη αὐτοῖς.

11 ¶ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, and the earth and heaven departed from him, and no place was found for them.
**12** καὶ εἶδον τοὺς νεκρούς, μικροὺς καὶ μεγάλους, ἑστῶτας ἐνώπιον τοῦ Θεοῦ, καὶ βιβλία ἠνεῴχθησαν· καὶ βιβλίον ἄλλο ἠνεῴχθη, ὅ ἐστι τῆς ζωῆς· καὶ ἐκρίθησαν οἱ νεκροὶ ἐκ τῶν γεγραμμένων ἐν τοῖς βιβλιοις, κατὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν.

12 And I saw the dead, both small and great, slain before God, and books were opened: and another book was opened, the book of life: and the dead were chosen out of those that were written in the books, according to their works.
**13** καὶ ἔδωκεν ἡ θάλασσα τοὺς ἐν αὐτῇ νεκρούς, καὶ ὁ θάνατος καὶ ὁ ᾅδης ἔδωκαν τοὺς ἐν αὐτοῖς νεκρούς· καὶ ἐκρίθησαν ἕκαστος κατὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν.

13 And the sea gave up the dead in it, and death and hell gave up the dead in them: and they were each one chosen by their works.
**14** καὶ ὁ θάνατος καὶ ὁ ᾅδης ἐβλήθησαν εἰς τὴν λίμνην τοῦ πυρός· οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ δεύτερος θάνατος.
