Non lotis autem manibus manducare, non coinquinat hominem. |washed|||||| But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.

21 Et egressus inde Jesus secessit in partes Tyri et Sidonis. |having gone out|||withdrew|||of Tyre||of Sidon 21 And Jesus went out from there and departed into the parts of Tyre and Sidon. 22 Et ecce mulier chananæa a finibus illis egressa clamavit, dicens ei : Miserere mei, Domine fili David : filia mea male a dæmonio vexatur. ||woman|Canaanite||||having gone out||saying||have mercy|me|||David|my daughter||||demon|is tormented 22 And behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, crying out, saying to Him: Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David: my daughter is grievously vexed by a demon. 23 Qui non respondit ei verbum. ||answered|| 23 But He did not answer her a word.
