主 知道 法利賽 人 聽見 他 收 門徒 ， 施洗 ， 比 約翰 還多 ，（ 其實 不是 耶穌 親自 施洗 ， 乃是 他 的 門徒 施洗 ，） 他 就 離 了 猶太 ， 又 往 加利利 去 。 The Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that he had received and baptized more disciples than John, (in fact, it was not Jesus who baptized himself, but his disciples), so he left Judea and went to Galilee. 必須 經過 撒瑪利亞 ， 於是 到 了 撒 瑪利亞 的 一座 城 ， 名叫 敘加 ， 靠近 雅各 給他 兒子 約瑟 的 那塊 地 。 He had to go through Samaria, so he came to a city in Samaria called Sychar, near the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 在 那裡 有 雅各 井 ； 耶穌 因 走路 困乏 ， 就 坐在 井旁 。 那時 約 有 午正 。 有 一個 撒 瑪利亞 的 婦人 來 打水 。 耶穌 對 他 說 ：「 請 你給 我 水 喝 。」 （ 那時 門徒 進城 買 食物 去 了 。 (At that time the disciples went into the city to buy food. 〉 撒瑪利亞 的 婦人 對 他 說 ：「 你 既 是 猶太人 ， 怎麼 向 我 一個 撒馬利亞 婦人 要 水 喝 呢 ？ > The Samaritan woman said to him, "How can you ask me, a Samaritan woman, for water, since you are a Jew? 」 原來 猶太人 和 撒瑪利亞 人 沒有 來往 。 耶穌 回答 說 ：「 你 若 知道 神 的 恩賜 ， 和 對 你 說 『 給 我 水 喝 』 的 是 誰 ， 你 必 早 求 他 ， 他 也 必 早 給 了 你 活水 。」 婦人 說 ：「 先生 ， 沒有 打水 的 器具 ， 井 又 深 ， 你 從 那裡 得 活水 呢 ？ 我們 的 祖宗 雅各 將 這 井 留給 我們 ， 他 自己 和 兒子 並 牲畜 也 都 喝 這 井 裡 的 水 ， 難道 你 比 他 還大 嗎 ？ Our father Jacob left this well to us, and he himself and his sons and livestock drink from this well. Are you older than him? 」 耶穌 回答 說 ： 凡 喝 這 水 的 還要 再 渴 ； 人若 喝 我 所 賜 的 水 就 永遠 不渴 。 我 所 賜 的 水要 在 他裡頭 成為 泉源 ， 直 湧 到 永生 。」 The water I give will be in him a wellspring of springs up to everlasting life. " 婦人 說 ：「 先生 ， 請 把 這水 賜給 我 ， 叫 我 不渴 ， 也 不用 來 這麼 遠 打水 。」 The woman said, "Sir, please give me this water so that I won't be thirsty, and I won't have to go this far to fetch water." 耶穌 說 ：「 你 去 叫 你 丈夫 也 到 這裡 來 。」 婦人 說 ：「 我 沒有 丈夫 。」 耶穌 說 ：「 你 說 沒有 丈夫 是 不錯 的 。 你 已經 有 五個 丈夫 ， 你 現在 有的並 不是 你 的 丈夫 。 你 這話 是 真的 。」 Your words are true. " 婦人 說 ： 先生 ， 我 看出 你 是 先知 。 The woman said: Sir, I see that you are a prophet. 我們 的 祖宗 在 這 山上 禮拜 ， 你們 倒 說 ， 應當 禮拜 的 地方 是 在 耶路撒冷 。」 Our ancestors worshipped on this mountain, but you say that the place to worship is in Jerusalem. " 耶穌 說 ： 婦人 ， 你 當 信 我 。 時候 將到 ， 你們 拜 父 ， 也 不在 這 山上 ， 也 不在 耶路撒冷 。 The time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 你們 所 拜 的 ， 你們 不 知道 ； 我們 所 拜 的 ， 我們 知道 ， 因為 救恩 是從 猶太人 出來 的 。 What you worship, you do not know; what we worship, we know, for salvation is of the Jews. 時候 將到 ， 如今 就是 了 ， 那 真正 拜 父 的 ， 要 用 心靈 和 誠實 拜 他 ， 因為 父要 這樣 的 人 拜 他 。 The time is coming, and it is now, when those who truly worship the Father will worship him in spirit and in truth, for the Father wants them to worship him. 神是 個 靈 （ 或 無 個 字 ）， 所以 拜 他 的 必須 用 心靈 和 誠實 拜 他 。」 God is a spirit (or no word), so those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Could this be the Christ? 」 眾人 就 出城 ， 往 耶穌 那裡 去 。 ' And the crowd went out of the city to Jesus. 這 其間 ， 門徒 對 耶穌 說 ：「 拉比 ， 請吃 。」 During this time, the disciples said to Jesus, "Rabbi, please eat." 耶穌 說 ：「 我 有 食物 吃 ， 是 你們 不 知道 的 。」 Jesus said, "I have food to eat, which you do not know." 門徒 就 彼此 對問 說 ：「 莫非 有人 拿 甚麼 給他 吃 嗎 ？ The disciples asked each other, "Did someone give him something to eat? 」 耶穌 說 ：「 我 的 食物 就是 遵行 差 我 來者 的 旨意 ， 做成 他 的 工 。 "Jesus said, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to finish his work." 你們 豈 不 說 『 到 收割 的 時候 還有 四個 月 』 嗎 ？ Don't you say, "Four months to the harvest"? 我 告訴 你們 ， 舉目 向 田 觀看 ， 莊稼 已經 熟 了 （ 原文 是 發白 ）， 可以 收割 了 。 I tell you, lift up your eyes to the field and see that the harvest is ripe and ready to be harvested. 收割 的 人 得 工價 ， 積蓄 五穀 到 永生 ， 叫 撒種 的 和 收割 的 一同 快樂 。 The reapers get their wages, and they lay up grain for eternal life, that the sower and the reaper may rejoice together. 俗語說 ：：『 那 人 撒種 ， 這人 收割 』， 這話 可見 是 真的 。 As the saying goes: "The one who sows, the one who reaps," is clearly true. 我差 你們 去 收 你們 所 沒有 勞苦 的 ； 別人 勞苦 ， 你們 享受 他們 所 勞苦 的 。」 I send you to reap what you have not labored; others labor, and you enjoy what they labor. " 那城裡 有 好些 撒瑪利亞 人 信 了 耶穌 ， 因為 那 婦人 作 見證 說 ：「 他將 我 素來 所行 的 一切 事都給 我 說 出來 了 。」 Many Samaritans in that city believed in Jesus, because the woman testified, "He told me all that I ever did." 於是 撒 瑪利亞 人 來見 耶穌 ， 求 他 在 他們 那裡 住 下 ， 他 便 在 那裡 住 了 兩天 。 So the Samaritans came to Jesus and asked him to stay with them, and he stayed there for two days. 因 耶穌 的話 ， 信 的 人 就 更 多 了 ， 便 對 婦人 說 ：「 現在 我們 信 ， 不是 因為 你 的話 ， 是 我們 親自 聽見 了 ， 知道 這 真是 救世主 。」 Because of what Jesus said, more people believed, and he said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of your words, but because we have heard it ourselves, and we know that this is really the Savior of the world." 過了 那 兩天 ， 耶穌 離 了 那 地方 ， 往 加利利 去 。 After those two days, Jesus left the place and went to Galilee. 因為 耶穌 自己 作 過 見證 說 ：「 先知 在 本地 是 沒有 人 尊敬 的 。」 Because Jesus himself testified, "The prophets are not respected in the land." 到 了 加利利 ， 加利利 人 既然 看見 他 在 耶路撒冷 過節 所行 的 一切 事 ， 就 接待 他 ， 因為 他們 也 是 上去 過節 。 When he came to Galilee, the people of Galilee, seeing all that he did at the festival in Jerusalem, welcomed him, because they also went to the festival. 耶穌 又 到 了 加利利 的 迦拿 ， 就是 他 從前 變水為 酒 的 地方 。 有 一個 大臣 ， 他 的 兒子 在 迦百農 患病 。 他 聽見 耶穌 從 猶太 到 了 加利利 ， 就 來見 他 ， 求 他 下去 醫治 他 的 兒子 ， 因為 他 兒子 快要 死 了 。 耶穌 就 對 他 說 ：「 若 不 看見 神蹟 奇事 ， 你們 總是 不 信 。」 Jesus said to him, "Unless you see signs and wonders, you will never believe." 那 大臣 說 ：「 先生 ， 求 你 趁 著 我 的 孩子 還 沒有 死 就 下去 。」 The minister said, "Sir, please go down before my child dies." 耶穌 對 他 說 ：「 回去 吧 ， 你 的 兒子 活 了 ！ 」 那人信 耶穌 所說 的話 就 回去 了 。 正 下去 的 時候 ， 他 的 僕人 迎見 他 ， 說 他 的 兒子 活 了 。 他 就問 甚麼 時候 見 好 的 。 他們 說 ：「 昨日 未時 熱 就 退 了 。」 They said, "The fever subsided shortly after yesterday." 他 便 知道 這 正是 耶穌 對 他 說 「 你 兒子 活 了 」 的 時候 ； 他 自己 和 全家 就 都 信 了 。 這是 耶穌 在 加利利 行 的 第二件 神蹟 ， 是 他 從 猶太 回去 以後 行 的 。 This was the second miracle Jesus performed in Galilee, after he returned from Judea.
