E la pioggia sembra essere diventata una costante.

Oggi sono a Testaccio.

Quindi sto cominciando a cambiare quartiere!

Non più Trastevere, ma Testaccio.

Perché oggi voglio andare a fare una colazione un po' speciale, un po' diversa dal solito.

Con una mia amica che si chiama Cassandra e che tra poco conoscerete, però adesso devo arrivare

alla pasticceria.

250 metri da dove devo andare,

Però ci sono ancora delle parti di Trastevere che sono molto vere.

che ci sono per metà turisti, ma c'è anche una vita locale.

Se si cammina per alcune strade di Trastevere si ha la sensazione di camminare

in un paesino nel Medioevo.

si rendono conto di aver perso una grande opportunità

quando erano giovani e quindi adesso vogliono riavvicinarsi alla lingua italiana, perché era la lingua dei loro nonni.

E mi hanno raccontato questo, cioè che in famiglia non si parlava italiano con i più piccoli,

ma solo magari tra adulti.

E a volte era usato per non farsi capire dai bambini.

Questa è l'esatta storia. Tutti parlavano italiano intorno a me.

E mi dispiace perché in questo momento sono quasi tutti deceduti, e anche mia nonna è quasi l'ultima (della famiglia). Mia zia, i miei cugini, che ancora vivono, ma

loro sono proprio gli ultimi della mia famiglia italiana a NY.

E questo è perché sono qui, perché non parlo un italiano perfetto,

con amici, non ho preso lezioni perché ho paura, ma ho bisogno di parlare per lavoro e per vivere qui.
