(Todos salen. Everybody leaves. Macario espera a su amigo, MUERTE. Macario waits for his friend, DEATH y MUERTE mueve la cabeza arriba y abajo, and DEATH moves his head up and down dando la afirmativa, indicating YES. Macario entonces saca su guaque, takes out his gourd, y le echa a Paco and his pours a drop of agua, una gota de agua en en la frente, on his forehead y le hace la señal de la cruz en la frente, en los labios y en el pecho, and he makes the sign of the cross on his forehead, on his lips and on his chest. Macario vuelve a hacer la señal de la cruz, Macario again makes the sign of the cross mientras reza, while he prays. MUERTE aparece, DEATH appears al lado de la cama, at the side of the bed y le guiña el ojo a Macario, and he winks at Macario. Paco se despierta.
Paco
Papi. Tengo hambre, Papá. I'm hungry. Quiero comer.
(Macario sonríe, Macario smiles)
Macario
Vamos afuera mijo (mi hijo) Let's go outside, my son
Anciana I (Old lady 1)
