Manus tuæ fecerunt me, et plasmaverunt me : da mihi intellectum, et discam mandata tua. |||||they formed|||||||| Your hands have made me and formed me: give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments. 74 Qui timent te videbunt me et lætabuntur, quia in verba tua supersperavi. |||||||||||I have hoped 74 Those who fear you will see me and rejoice, because I have hoped in your words. 75 Cognovi, Domine, quia æquitas judicia tua, et in veritate tua humiliasti me. |||equity|||||||| 75 I know, O Lord, that your judgments are just, and in your truth you have humbled me. 76 Fiat misericordia tua ut consoletur me, secundum eloquium tuum servo tuo. ||||may it console|||||| 76 Let your mercy come to comfort me, according to your promise to your servant. 77 Veniant mihi miserationes tuæ, et vivam, quia lex tua meditatio mea est. let them come||||||||||| 77 Let your compassions come to me, that I may live, for your law is my meditation. 78 Confundantur superbi, quia injuste iniquitatem fecerunt in me ; ego autem exercebor in mandatis tuis. 78 Let the proud be put to shame, for they wronged me unjustly; I, however, will meditate on your commandments. 79 Convertantur mihi timentes te, et qui noverunt testimonia tua. 79 Let those who fear you turn to me, and those who know your testimonies. 80 Fiat cor meum immaculatum in justificationibus tuis, ut non confundar. 80 May my heart be blameless in your justifications, so that I may not be put to shame.
