最近 有 一则 新闻 刷 爆 到 互联网

说 是 加拿大 的 科学家 发现 了 快速 射电 暴 FRB 的 重复 信号

有人 就 说 这 就是 外星人 向 我们 招手 的

有 小朋友 问 我 说 外星人 到底 存在 不 存在

今天 我们 就 来 讨论 一个 有关 外星人 的话题

叫做 费米 悖论

为了 讨论 费米 悖论

我们 首先 先 来 介绍 一下 费米 这个 人

费米 是 一个 意大利 的 物理学家

而且 绝对 是 20 世纪 物理学家 中 扛把子 的 角色

费米 他 提出 了 很多 的 理论 比如说 像 费米 - 狄拉克 统计

还 有 他 提出 了 中微子 的 模型

再 比如说 他 提出 弱 相互作用 的 理论

弱 相互作用 的 理论 等等 一些 理论

都 为 未来 的 物理学 发展 铺平 了 道路

他 还 参加 了 美国 得 这个 原子弹 计划 就是 曼哈顿 计划

他 跟 奥本海默 并 称为 原子弹 之 父

另外 他 还 培养 了 很多 优秀 的 学生

他 的 学生 里边 得 诺贝尔奖 的 就 有 六个

包括 我们 熟知 的 李政道 和 杨振宁 都 是 这个 费米 的 学生

所以 费米 是 跟 爱因斯坦 一个 级别 的 物理学家

那么 费米 他 特别 有意思 的 一点 是 在于

他 特别 喜欢 用 一些 快速 的 估算 方法 来 计算 一些 复杂 的 问题

比如说 在 1950 年 有 一次 他 跟 几个 科学家 一起 吃饭

吃 完 了 午饭 之后 讨论 外星人 的 问题

然后 费米 就 问 了 一个 问题

说 呀 外星人 咱们 讨论 的 这么 长时间 外星人

外星人 他们 在 哪

他们 在 哪 就 这么 一个 问题 就 被 称为 费米 悖论

说 为什么 一个 问题 会 称之为 悖论

所谓 悖论 就是 通过 一些 合乎逻辑 的方法

我们 会 得出 自相矛盾 的 结果 这才 叫 悖论 对 不 对

那么 外星人 在 哪 为什么 也 是 悖论 咱们 来 讨论 一下 这个 问题

首先 第一件 事 就是 我们 首先 要 承认 外星人 是 存在 的

外星人 是 存在 的

说 外星人 为什么 存在 费米 说 我们 可以 估计 怎么 估计

可 观测 宇宙 大概 是 有 900 亿 光年 那么 大

在 这个 900 亿 光年 那么 大 的 宇宙 里边 大概 有 1000 亿 个 星系

这 1000 亿 个 星系 每 一个 星系 都 像 银河系 那样 是 吧

那么 每 一个 星系 里边 有 多少 个 恒星

据估计 有 1000 亿 到 10000 亿 个

咱们 保守 估计 每 一个 星系 里边 有 1000 亿 个 恒星

但是 这些 恒星 不 都 像 太阳 一样

如果 这个 恒星 质量 太 大 的话

那么 它 的 寿命 就 比较 短 不足以 产生 生命

如果 这个 恒星 质量 太小 发 的 光 又 比较 弱 而且 不 稳定

所以 只有 像 太阳 那么 大 差不多 的 恒星 才能够 产生 生命

那 这样 的话 比例 有 多少 咱们 再 保守 估计 一下

科学家 估计 是 5% 到 20%

咱们 估计 个 1% 这 1% 是 像 太阳 一样 的 恒星

每 一个 像 太阳 一样 的 恒星 都 会 有 一个 小 星系

而 这个 小 星系 里边 就 会 有 一些 行星 围绕 它 转

如果 这个 行星 离 太阳 太 近 了 那么 它 就 特别 热 不能 产生 生命

如果 离 太阳 太 远 了 的话 特别 冷 不能 产生 生命

如果 轨道 特别 扁 的话 也 不能 产生 生命

一系列 复杂 的 因素 之下 还 剩下 多少 个 能够 产生 生命 呢

科学家 们 估计 说 也 有 百分之几 咱们 还是 取个 下限 1%

也就是说 在 这些 个 像 太阳 一样 的 恒星 周围

有 1% 像 地球 那样 的 可以 孕育 生命 的 星球

好 了 我们 已经 知道 有 这么 多 可 孕育 生命 的 星球 了

但是 生命 本身 的 产生 也 是 非常 复杂 的 对 吧

那么 咱们 再 假设

在 这些 跟 地球 一样 的 可以 孕育 生命 的 星球 里面

只有 万分之一 产生 了 像 地球 一样 的 生命

我们 再 乘 个 万分之一 10^-4

这个 就是 能够 产生 高 文明 生命 的 这个 数量

把 它们 都 乘起来 大概 有 多少

大概 有 10^14 个 也 就是 100 万亿 个

也就是说 理论 上 讲 外星人 在 全宇宙 中

应该 有 100 万亿 个 文明 至少 应该 有 这么 多 对 不 对

那 有 同学 可能 会 说 那 这些 文明 也许 真的 有

但是 因为 宇宙 太 大 了 我们 没 接触 上 对 吧

这个 也 不行 为什么 因为 我们 哪怕 就 考虑 银河系

我们 知道 有 1000 亿 个 像 银河系 这样 的 星系

如果 我们 把 这个 文明 数量 除以 1000 亿

那 就是 在 银河系 里边 应该 有 多少 个 文明 对 吧

我们 估算 也 会 有 一千个 以上 的 高等 文明 是 吧

甚至 美国 有 一个 绿岸 天文台

美国 国家 射电 天文台 绿岸 天文台

它 也 是 《 三体 》 里边 那个 红岸 天文台 的 原型

这个 绿岸 天文台 有 一个 科学家 名字 叫 德雷克

德雷克 说 你 刚才 用 的 那个 公式 这个 估计 方法 太 简单 了

我 给 你 提出 一个 复杂 的方法

那 比较 精确 的 估算 一下 这个 文明 的 存在 数量

结果 他 提出 了 德雷克 公式

那 在 这个 德雷克 公式 里边 去 计算 外形 文明 还是 非常 非常 多

比 我们 估计 的 这个 还要 高 很多 对 吧

那么 就 奇怪 了

说 既然 有 这么 多 外星 文明 为什么 我们 都 没有 看得见 呢

那 第二句 话 就 应该 是 外星 文明 如果 存在 的话 外星人 应该 被 发现

外星人 应该 被 发现

为什么 外星人 应该 被 发现 我们 可以 从 这样 一个 角度 来 说明

首先 我们 先 来 提 一个 指数 叫 卡尔达 肖夫 指数

卡尔达 肖夫 是 前 苏联 的 一个 科学家

他 提出 了 一种 文明 的 这个 分类 方法

说 这个 不同 等级 的 文明 怎么 去 划分

可以 按照 利用 能量 的 不同 来 进行 划分

不同 的 文明 用 能量 多少 不 一样

你 文明 程度 越高 你 用 的 能量 越 多 是 吧

假如 有 一个 文明 你 可以 发展 到 全部 利用 行星 的 能源

就是 你 这个 行星 能源 全都 被 你 开发 完 了

大概 他 的 能源 利用 是 10^16 瓦特 这么 多

那么 这个 文明 我们 就 称之为 Ⅰ 类 文明

假如 有 一个 文明 他 可以 利用 他 所在 的 恒星 的 全部 能量

他 可以 利用 恒星 的 能量 了 这个 大概 是 10^26 瓦特 这么 大

那么 我们 就 称之为 Ⅱ 型 文明

假如 有 一个 文明 你 可以 利用 整个 星系

比如说 对 我们 来讲 就是 银河系 可以 利用 整个 星系 的 能量 了

那么 大概 要 功率 是 10^36 瓦特

这种 文明 我们 就 称之为 第 Ⅲ 级 文明

那 地球 现在 处于 哪 一级 文明 很 遗憾 地球 还 没 到 第 Ⅰ 级 文明

我们 整个 地球 上 的 能源 还 没有 被 开发 出来 对 吧

地球 大概 在 这个 位置

那么 距离 第 Ⅰ 级 文明 完全 开发 出来 大概 还有 多少 年

据估计 还有 100 年 或者 200 年 的 时间 10^2 年

从 第 Ⅰ 级 文明 到达 一直 到 第 Ⅱ 级 文明 大概 需要 多少 年

大概 需要 10^3 年 也就是 几千年

从 第 Ⅱ 级 文明 发展 到 第 Ⅲ 级 文明 大概 需要 多长时间

大概 需要 10^5 年 也就是说 大概 需要 几十万 年 的 时间

目前 地球 的 这个 卡尔达 肖夫 指数 是 0.73

也就是说 大概 达到 了 73% 的 第 Ⅰ 级 文明 的 指数

地球 还 没有 达到 虽然 地球 的 文明 还 没有 达到 这 Ⅲ 级 文明

但是 你 难保 宇宙 中 达 不到 为什么

你 看 地球 距离 第 Ⅲ 级 文明 也 就 只有 10^5 年

就是 大概 是 10 万年 的 时间 对 吧

地球 产生 了 多长时间 了 地球 已经 产生 了 46 亿年 了 对吧

46 亿年 了 但是 宇宙 形成 多长时间 了

宇宙 已经 形成 了 138 亿年 了 对 吧

那 也就是说 地球 在 宇宙 中 其实 还是 比较 年轻 的

如果 有 一个 文明 比 地球 早 发展 10 万年

那么 他 就 可以 现在 达到 Ⅲ 级 文明 对 不 对

达到 这种 超级 文明 之后

他 就 理应 被 我们 所 发现 说 这 是 为什么

因为 有 一个 很 显然 的 逻辑 比如说 科学家 戴森 提出 了 一种 理论

他 说 你 这个 外星 文明 他 要 想 利用 能源

比如说 他 想 利用 这个 恒星 能源 达到 第 Ⅱ 级 文明

他 利用 恒星 能源 比如 太阳 对 吧 他 怎么 利用

你 现在 地球 上 架 个 太阳能 板 你 就是 在 利用

但是 你 不能 利用 全部 你 要 全部 利用 的话 除非 怎么样

你 搞 一个 戴森球 什么 叫 戴森球 大概 意思 就是说 吧

你 可以 在 这个 恒星 比如 太阳 外边 你 加 一个 罩

你 把 这个 太阳 整个 给 罩住 罩住 了 之后

太阳 发 的 光 全都 被 你 给 吸收 了 全都 被 你 给 吸收 了

然后 你 用来 发电 或者 干什么 的

然后 你 因为 自身 温度 的 升高 还 会 向 外 辐射 红外线 对 吧

那 这 是 一种 比较 好 的 利用 能源 的 方式

那 如果 外星 文明 也 这么 想 的话

我们 就 应该 观察 到 戴森球 对 吧

除此之外 还有 另外 一种 叫 冯诺 依曼 探测器

冯诺 依曼 探测器

冯诺 依曼 探测器 是 什么 意思

我们 知道 生命 是 可以 自我 复制 的 是 吧

DNA RNA 可以 自我 复制 人类 也 可以 动物 也 可以 病毒 也 可以

那么 机器 其实 也 是 存在 自我 复制 可能 的

比如说 吧 咱们 编 的 那个 计算机病毒 不 就 可以 自我 复制 吗

那么 我们 可以 把 一个 机器 植入 一段 自我 复制 的 代码

然后 让 它 干 什么

我 从 母星 上 我 发射 一个 冯诺依曼 探测器

把 它 发射 到 一个 我要 探索 的 星球 上去

然后 让 他 在 这个 星球 上 自己 去 搜索 这个 物质

用 这些 物质 制造 自己 本身 复制 自己

然后 让 他 继续 进行 探索

每到 一个 星球 他 就 探索 一次 然后 再 去 分裂

这样 一来 我们 就 会 发现 只要 我们 发射 一个 冯诺依曼 探测器

只 需要 几百万年 咱们 就 可以 把 整个 的 银河系 都 布满

但是 到 目前 为止 我们 还 没有 发现

类似 于 冯诺 依曼 探测器 这种 东西 对 不 对

也就是说 从 逻辑 上 讲 外星人 如果 采用 的 逻辑 跟 我们 一样 的话

那么 他 为了 维持 自己 的 这个 种族 不至于 灭绝

他 就 一定 要 采用 比如 戴森球 或者 冯诺依曼 探测器 这种 方式

这种 方式 对 宇宙 进行 开发 对 吧

但是 第三个 问题 来 了

第三个 问题 就是 我们 目前为止 还 没有 发现 外星人

没有 发现 外星人 也 没有 发现 外星人 的 任何 的 痕迹

咱们 看 外星人 存在 是 我们 通过 一些 计算方法 实证 出来 的

我们 认为 他 真的 就 应该 是 存在 的 对 吧

那么 外星人 应该 被 发现 是 我们 通过 逻辑 得到 的

就是说 如果 外星人 已经 有 了 高度 文明 了

理论 上 讲 我们 就 应该 看见 他 但是 事实上 我们 又 没有 看见 他

于是 出现 了 什么 呀 矛盾

这个 我们 就 称之为 费米 悖论

那么 对于 费米 悖论 人们 是 怎么 去 解译 的 呢

几十年 的 时间 里面 人们 提出 了 上百种 的 解释

这些 解释 没有 一种 解释 能够 让 所有人 信服

那么 大概 的 我们 可以 把 这些 解释 分为 三类

第一类 解释 称之为 地球 稀有

地球 稀有 的 意思 就是 说 地球 是 很 特殊 的 一个 存在

除了 地球 以外 其他 文明 都 没有 人类 这么 高

也 就是 没有 外星 文明

如果 外 星球 有 蠕虫 我们 不管

但是 超过 人类 的 文明 就是 没有 是 吧

说 这 是 为什么 有 很多种 说法

比如说 第一个 地球 的 生存条件 是 非常 苛刻 的

我们 想 找到 这么 好 的 一个 条件 太 难 了

比 我们 估计 的 难 很多 对 吧

比如说 我们 需要 一个 适中 的 大气层

我们 需要 一个 合适 的 磁场 来 保护 我们

我们 需要 这个 轨道 比较 特殊 我们 需要 没有 小行星 带 撞击

等等 一系列 要求 条件 非常 苛刻

其它 星球 都 没有 这么 好 的 条件

所以 我们 就算 不是 唯一 的 一个 也 是 第一批 的 高度 文明

这 就是 第一种 说法

第二种 说法 就 称之为 什么 称之为 大 过滤器

什么 叫 大 过滤器

就是说 在 文明 的 发展 过程 中有 很多 的 劫 是 吧 过滤器

就是 最 开始 可能 文明 有 很多 对 吧

这个 文明 发展 到 一定 程度 上 就 会 有 一劫

很多 文明 在 这儿 就 消耗 了 消耗 光 了

那么 可能 有 少数 的 文明 通过 了 第一 劫

通过 了 第一 劫 之后 又 出现 了 第二个 过滤器

第二个 过滤器 又 筛 掉 了 一批 文明

然后 继续 往前 发展 比如说 这 就是 低等 文明

这 是 中等 文明 这 是 高度 文明 像 人类 一样 是 吧

这 就 称之为 过滤器 说 过滤器 有 哪些 种 可能 我们 举 几个 例子

比如说 吧 生命 的 产生 其实 本身 就是 一次 过滤器

我们 现在 在 实验室 里面 通过 各种各样 的方法

造出 了 这个 氨基酸

但是 我们 想 造 出 最低 等 的 生命 都 造 不 出来

那 生命 产生 本身 就是 一次 过滤 对 吧

再 比如说 从 原核 生命 到 真核 的 生物

这个 过程 地球 花 多长时间 才 做到 花 了 十几亿 年

那 这 可能 也 是 一次 大 过滤 对 吧

大部分 的 生命 都 达 不到 从 原核 到 真核 的 这么 一个 步骤

你 再 比如说 现在 人类 已经 文明 高度 发达 了 对 不 对

发达 了 一段时间 之后 人类 有没有 可能 通过 战争

比如 我们 现在 有 核武器 了 我们 可以 毁灭 一个 国家 对 吧

以后 我们 是不是 还有 更 猛 的 武器

我们 一 按 按钮 认为 可以 解决 所有 问题

结果 没想到 把 太阳 给 炸 了 这 也 有 可能 对 不 对

科技 等等 一些 因素 这些 都 有 可能 成为 过滤器

那么 问题 就是 我们 现在 人类 到底 前面 还有 没有 过滤器

假如 按照 这种 说法 的话 人类 肯定 是 已经 通过 了 几个 过滤器 了

但是 假如 前面 还有 过滤器 的话 这事 就 非常 可怕

可能 人们 到 了 那个 过滤器 人类 就 全都 灭亡 了 对 吧

这是 一种 理论

所以 有人 说 吧 我们 最好 不要 在 外面 发现 生命

因为 如果 我们 在 外 星球 发现 了 生命 的话 就 表示 什么

表示 可能 前面 我们 还是 有 过滤器 的

要不然 我们 为什么 看不到 其他 的 这个 高度 文明 对 吧

这是 第一种 说法 那么 第二种 说法 我们 就 称之为 什么

就是说 外星 生命 是 存在 的 但是 我们 无法 察觉

就是 我们 感觉 不到 无法 察觉 那 这种 他 认为 是 有 外星 文明 的

只不过 这个 外星 文明 我们 察觉 不到

说 为什么 无法 察觉 有 几种 说法

比如 第一个 时间 不够

人类 探索 宇宙 的 历史 或者 说 人类 利用 电磁波 探索 宇宙 的 历史

可能 只有 几十年 的 时间 之前 那个 外星 文明

可能 他 也 不是 通过 广播 的 方式 去 广播 自己 的

外星 文明 可能 像 灯塔 一样 他 往 一个 地方 去 照射 一个 电磁波

过 一段时间 之后 他 一看 这块 没什么 反应

于是 他 就 往 别的 地方 去 照

上次 照 的 时候 人类 还 很 愚钝 什么 也 不知道 是 吧

然后 我们 现在 探测 的 时候 人家 没 往 这边 照 是 吧

所以 时间 不够 我们 多 看 一会 没准 就 看到 了

这是 第一个

第二个 就是 虽然 外星人 就 在 我们 周围 但是 我们 无法 理解

我们 举个 例子 什么 叫 无法 理解

比如说 吧 有 一个 细菌 细菌 就 在 我们 身体 里边

结果 我们 这个 人 在 那 盖房子 或者 我们 这个 人 睡觉

细菌 会 知道 吗

细菌 会 知道 我们 这个 人 到底 是 在 盖房子 还是 在 睡觉 吗 对 吧

因为 他 的 世界 跟 我们的 世界 完全 不 一样

所以 我们 干什么 可能 细菌 都 不是 很 清楚

我们 就 有 可能 是 那个 细菌

外星人 就 好像 就 在 我们 周围 盖 房子 睡觉 我们 都 不知道 对 吧

这是 无法 理解 或者说 时间 不 一样

比如说 外星人 思考 一个 问题 他 可能 需要 一 毫秒

我们 思考 一个 问题 可能 需要 十秒

这样 一来 这个 时间 的 差别 也 造成 外星人 说话 我们 听不懂

这 是 第二 种 可能 无法 理解

第三个 就是 比较 著名 的 叫 黑森林 法则 了

看过 《 三体 》 的 同学 应该 都 知道 这 黑森林 法则 是 什么 意思

就是说 这个 宇宙 就 像 一个 黑森林 一样

宇宙 中 有 很多 的 文明 就 像 一个 一个 的 猎人

每个 猎人 都 有 枪

这个 文明 的 武器 既 可以 毁灭 自己 也 可以 毁灭 对方

一旦 两个 文明 相遇 了

那么 某 一个 文明 会 想 说 对方 要 不要 毁灭 我 呀 是 吧

万一 对方 要 毁灭 我 我 得 先 下手 为强

所以 只要 发现 了 一个 跟 自己 类似 的 文明 就 一定 要 毁灭 他

在 这种 情况 下 每 一个 文明 都 会 小心 地 隐藏 自己

就 好像 在 一个 黑森林 里边 一样

没有 文明 愿意 向 外边 发射 电信号 来 找 这个 其他 的 文明

这样 会 给 自己 招来 灾祸 就 只有 人 这么 傻 天天 去 找 外星人

这 就是 所谓 的 黑森林 假说 对 吧

所以 我们 找 不到 外星人

除此之外 还有 第三类 解释

就是 人类 文明 被 隔离 了

说 什么 叫 隔离

意思 是 说 比如说 第一种 说法 吧 叫 动物园 假说

就是说 外星 文明 早就 发现 人类 存在 了

但 他们 结成 了 一个 同盟

就是 把 这个 人类 当成 是 动物 在 外边 观察 没准 还 卖票 是 吧

就是 这个 外星人 们 对 人类 是 只 看 不 摸

所以 人 也 不 知道 外边 有 外星人 但 外星人 一直 在 观察 人类

这 叫 动物园 假说

比 动物园 假说 更 疯狂 的 叫 天文馆 假说

说 这个 人 实际上 是 存在 于 外星人 造 的 一个 天文馆 之中

外星人 造 了 一种 假象 好像 宇宙 中 就 只有 人类 本身

但 实际上 这 只是 给 人 看 的 人 外星人 就 在 外边 研究 人类 是 吧

比 他们 更 夸张 的 一种 叫 缸中 大脑

缸 中 大脑 是 什么 意思

就是 意思 是 说 呀 我们 现在 所 接触 到 的 一切 都 是 不 存在 的

我们 只是 外星 文明 造 的 一个 超级计算机 里边 的 程序

我们 所有 的 感触 都 是 在 程序 里面 自动 运行 着 是 吧

那么 这个 外星 文明 能源 在 哪

就是 用 一个 戴森球 围住 了 一颗 恒星 提供 能源

然后 有 个 超级计算机 它 产生 了 各种各样 的 虚拟现实

我们 就 活 在 这种 虚拟现实 当中 的

实际上 我们 看到 一切 都 不 存在

那 这种 说法 其实 就是 把 外形 文明 当成 上帝 了 对 吧

就是 这么 一个 意思

除此之外 还有 很多很多 种 对于 这个 费米 悖论 的 解释

比如说 有人 说 了 这个 宇宙 中 就 只有 一个 超级 文明

这个 超级 文明 拿 了 个 大 棒子 就 在 那 看着

哪 一个 文明 接近 于 自身 了 那 为了 防止 他 超过 自己 就 把 他 干掉

是 吧 我们 现在 人类 还 没 达到 他 要 要 干掉 的 程度

等 我们 什么 时候 发展 的 比较 厉害 了

那个 外星 文明 就 把 我们 干掉 了 这 也 是 一种 说法

虽然 人类 已经 经过 了 很 漫长 的 历史

同时 也 有 很多 的 科技 成就 了

但是 人类 文明 也 不过 只有 几千年

相比 宇宙 一百多 亿年 的 历史 来讲 人类 才 刚刚 起步

还 处于 胚胎 阶段 可能 很多 问题 我们 现在 还 不太好 理解

举个 例子 来说 就 在 500 年 之前

人们 还 不 知道 是 地球 围绕 太阳 转 还是 太阳 围绕 地球 转

人们 还 在 争论 地球 到底 是不是 一个 球体

所以 现在 我们 讨论 的 很多 问题 可能 还 需要 很久很久 的 时间

我们 才能 真正 弄 明白
