Negative Statements

否定文

Negative sentences in Punjabi are formed by adding ਨਹੀਂ (nahi) before the verb.

次の例を見てみましょう。

• I don't eat food → ਮੈਂ ਖਾਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਂਦਾ (Main khana nahi khanda).
• She does not go to school → ਉਹ ਸਕੂਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ (Oh school nahi jandi).
