建 人工岛 的 本质 就是 往 海里 填土 The essence of building an artificial island is to fill the sea.

以 港珠澳大桥 上 的 人工岛 为例 Taking the artificial island on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge as an example,

造岛 的 流程 主要 有 这 四步 The process of island building mainly has these four steps.

第一步 人工 围堰 The first step is the artificial cofferdam,

就是 用 土石 围成 海堤 which is to form a seawall with earth and stone

形成 岛 的 轮廓 to form the outline of the island.

传统 上要 先用 挖泥船 挖出 海底 柔软 的 淤泥 Traditionally, dredgers are used to excavate the soft mud on the seabed

再 填入 砂石 and then fill in the sand.

通过 重力 挤压 使 地基 紧致 稳固 The foundation is stabilized by gravity extrusion.

然后 用 石块 或 沙袋 堆成 海堤 Then pile up the seawall with stones or sandbags.

但 这种 方式 非常 耗时 But this method is very time consuming.

港珠澳 大桥 人工岛 采用 的 是 更 高效 的 钢 圆筒 围堰 The artificial island of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge uses a more efficient steel cylinder cofferdam.

将 直径 22 米 、 高 40 多米 、 重 500 吨 的 钢 圆筒 A steel cylinder with a diameter of 22 meters, a height of more than 40 meters and a weight of 500 tons

利用 8 台 振动 锤 直接插入 软 土层 is directly inserted into the soft soil layer by using 8 vibrating hammers.

到达 海底 坚固 的 不透水 层后 After reaching the strong impervious layer on the bottom of the sea,

再 往 圆筒 内 注入 沙子 inject sand into the cylinder.

其中 的 西 人工岛 一共 插 了 61 个 钢 圆筒 A total of 61 steel cylinders were inserted in the West Artificial Island.

钢筒 间 还要 插入 弧形 钢板 填补 空隙 并 注入 沙子 Curved steel plates are also inserted between the steel cylinders to fill the gap and inject sand.

形成 围堰 后 把 内部 的 海水 抽干 After the cofferdam is formed, the internal seawater needs to be drained.

第二步 岛身 填筑 The second step is to fill the island,

就是 往 围堰 里 填 沙子 which is to fill the cofferdam with sand.

西 人工岛 用 的 是 平均 直径 0.35mm 以上 的 中 粗砂 The West Artificial Island uses medium coarse sand with an average diameter of 0.35 mm or more,

从 陆地 通过 船只 运输 而 来 which is transported by land from ships.

但 如果 是 在 南海 这样 遥远 的 地方 造岛 However, if it is built in a remote place like the South China Sea,

从 陆地 运沙 耗时 耗力 it takes too much time and effort to transport sand from the land.

岛身 填筑 就 得 就地取材 To fill the island, you have to take the local materials,

主要 靠 这种 绞吸式 挖泥船 mainly relying on this kind of cutter suction dredger.

工作 时 船 尾部 的 一根 钢桩 会 插入 海底 When working, a steel pile at the stern will be inserted into the seabed

固定 船只 to fix the vessel.

接着 在 两侧 依次 抛设 横移 锚 Then, throw the traverse anchors on both sides.

再 将 绞刀 放入 海底 Then put the reamer into the sea bottom,

通过 牵引 横移 锚 上 的 线缆 让 绞刀 左右 摆动 挖泥 and let the reamer swing and dig the mud by pulling the cable on the anchor.

而 利用 船尾 两根 钢桩 交替 插入 海底 就 能 让 船只 缓慢 前进 持续 挖泥 By alternately inserting two steel piles into the seabed at the stern, the vessel can be slowly advanced to continue dredging.

绞刀 挖 的 泥 会 被 船 内 的 泥泵 吸入 The mud dig by the reamer will be sucked in by the mud pump inside the ship,

并 通过 排泥管 最终 将 泥沙 喷到 人工岛 上 and finally the sediment will be sprayed onto the artificial island through the drain pipe,

称为 “ 吹 填 ” which is called “drain filling”.

中国 制造 的 最大 绞吸船 “ 天鲲 号 ” 每 小时 能 挖泥 6000 立方米 The largest cutter suction ship made in China, TIAN KUN HAO, can dig up to 6,000 cubic meters per hour,

可 填满 3 个 标准 游泳池 which can fill three standard swimming pools.

不过 岛身 填筑 的 泥沙 含水量 高 、 质地 松软 However, the sediments filling the islands have high water content, soft texture

还 需 经过 地基 处理 and need to be handled by foundations.

西 人工岛 采取 的 是 深井 降水 联合 堆载 预压 The West Artificial Island adopts deep well precipitation combined with preloading.

简单 来说 就是 往 沙土 中 打入 外壁 带孔 的 排水管道 To put it simply, it is to embed the drainage pipe with holes in the outer wall into the sand,

利用 沙土 的 重力 挤压 让 水分 渗到 管道 中 再 抽到 岛外 and use the gravity extrusion of the sand to allow the water to seep into the pipe and then pump it out of the island

使 沙土 紧实 固结 and make the sand stable.

需 持续 4~5 个 月 This process lasts 4 to 5 months.

地基 处理 的 具体方法 非常复杂 The specific method of ground treatment is very complicated.

在 处理 地基 的 同时 可以 开始 修建 护岸 The revetment can be started while the foundation is being treated.

在 钢 圆筒 外侧 先 挖掉 淤泥 后 填入 2 米 厚 的 碎石 层 Dig the silt on the outside of the steel cylinder and fill it with a 2 m thick gravel layer.

接着 要 靠 砂桩 船 进一步 加固 土层 Then use pile ship to further strengthen the soil layer.

这艘 从 日本 引进 的 “ 砂桩 6 号 ” This ship is imported from Japan, "Sand Pile No. 6".

尾部 的 金属 套管 有 30 层楼 高 Its tail metal casing is 30 stories high

会 在 振动 锤 作用 下 打入 海底 and will penetrate the seabed under the action of a vibrating hammer.

穿透 20 米 的 土层 后 After penetrating the soil layer of 20 meters,

整座 人工岛 的 建设 耗时 约 7 个 月 The construction of the entire artificial island takes about 7 months.

那么 这样 一座 人工岛 要花 多少钱 呢 ？ How much does it cost for such an artificial island?

我们 没 找到 港珠澳 大桥 人工岛 的 造价 资料 We did not find the cost information of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge' s artificial island.

因为 你 填海 的 速度 可能 赶不上 海浪 冲刷 的 速度 Because the speed of your reclamation may not catch up with the speed of the waves.

2015 年 越南 用 船只 载 着 挖掘机 在 南海 的 南华 礁 辛辛苦苦 堆出 了 两座 人工岛 In 2015, Vietnam built two artificial islands on the Nanhua Reef in the South China Sea with vessels carrying excavators.

结果 不幸 被 风浪 冲垮 As a result, it was unfortunately washed away by the storm.

而 中国 造美济岛 时 When China built Meiji Island,
