SlowCzech Podcast, (62) Den blbec

(62) Den blbec

Tereza: “Čau, jak je?” (Hey, what's up? )

Simča: “Ále, nic moc dneska.” (Prrfff, so-so. )

Tereza: “Jakto? (How so? )

Simča: “Mám blbej den. Nejdřív jsem zaspala, potom mi ujela tramvaj, do práce jsem přišla pozdě a vylila jsem si kafe na tričko. A k tomu jsem si zapomněla klíče!” (I am having a bad day. At first I overslept, then I missed my tramway, I came late to work and I spilled coffee all over my T-shirt. In addition to that I forgot my keys! )

Tereza: “Teda, to je fakt den blbec.” (Well, this is really a very bad day)

Simča: “To jo. Už aby byl víkend!” (You're right. I wish to have a weekend. )

Tereza: “Hele, hlavu vzhůru. Dneska máš den blbec, ale zítra můžeš mít třeba zas super den! Třeba vyhraješ milion v loterii a odletíš na měsíc na Havaj, kde den blbec snad ani nemůžeš existovat!” (Hey, cheer/head up. (You have a bad day today but tomorrow you might (possibly) have a great day! You will (for exemple) win a milion in lottery and will go to Hawai for one month, where the bad day can't even exist! )

Simča: “Haha, dobrej vtip. Kam na ty nápady, proboha, chodíš?” (Hehe, good joke. How in the world do you come with such ideas? )

Tereza: “No fakt. Mám kamoše, kterej si vsadil jen jednou jedinkrát v životě a rovnou vyhrál půl milionu! A tak si koupil motorku a vyrazil na cestu po Evropě.” (I'm not kidding! I have a friend who bought a lottery ticket just once and bang! He won half a milion. So he bought a motorbike and set off for the Eurotrip. )

Simča: “No, to by vůbec nebylo špatné.” (Ehm, it wouldn't be bad at all! )

Tereza: “Dej vědět zítra, jestli's vyhrála ten milion!” (Let me know tomorrow if you won that million! )

Simča: “Jo, dám vědět! Čau!” (Ok, I'll let you know. )
