[Fox and Grapes] There was a hungry fox who saw a few autumn ripe grapes around the grape branches on the trellis, so he jumped up and tried to pick some grapes.
但 係 都 無功而返 , 因為 實在 摘 唔 到 。|||return empty-handed||really|picking||
But the department returned with no success, because it was really unsuccessful.
所以 佢 放棄 , 滿不在乎 噉 走開 , 邊行 邊講 :“ 仲以 為 嗰 啲 葡萄 已經 熟 啦 , 依家 睇 嚟 根本 就 係 酸 嘅 。 ”||give up|totally unconcerned||walk away|while walking|while|still think||||grapes|already|ripe|||||basically|||sour|
So he gave up, walked away without caring, and said as he walked, "I thought that some of the grapes were already ripe, but Yi Jia Sui was so sour at all."
