Adjectives in Punjabi are used to describe nouns and agree with the gender, number, and case of the noun they modify.
Agreement Rules
- Masculine singular nouns: The adjective often ends in -ਾ (a).
- Feminine singular nouns: The adjective ends in -ੀ (i).
- Plural nouns: The adjective ends in -ੇ (e) for both masculine and feminine.

Usage in Sentences:
- This is a small house. → ਇਹ ਛੋਟਾ ਘਰ ਹੈ। (Ih chhota ghar hai.)
- She has a beautiful dress. → ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਪੋਸ਼ਾਕ ਹੈ। (Us de kol sohni poshak hai.)
- They live in big cities. → ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। (Oh vadde shehran vich rehnde han.)
