Knight and Day (2010)
It's not easy to find a love story that everyone will like. Some people avoid the genre of romance. Others can't wait to cry over a happy ending. I'd like to recommend a film that has broad appeal.
In general, a good movie is one that I enjoy watching more than once. I've seen Knight and Day (2010) a few times already, and I'd be happy to see it again. It stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Diaz is liked by many. In contrast, Cruise is one of those famous Hollywood celebrities that you either love or hate. Personally, I find him entertaining, and I think he knows the kinds of roles that suit him best.
I like the chemistry between Cruise and Diaz, and I was amused by how the director and scriptwriter created contrasts to live up to the movie title. This is a fast-paced action movie with a heavy dose of romance. If you understand that such a movie is purely for entertainment and isn't supposed to be a masterpiece, then you won't be disappointed.
The basic story is about a handsome spy who unfairly ends up in danger from his own organization. His path to survival crosses with an attractive woman, and she has little choice in becoming involved. Somewhere in the middle of the fights and chases, they fall in love. Their fight becomes one for justice and for a future together.
