Capitolo 29

Pinocchio è pieno di speranza: vuole aiutare il suo povero babbo in mare e nuota tutta la notte.

Quando arriva il mattino il burattino riesce a vedere poco lontano una lunga striscia di terra. È un'isola in mezzo al mare.

Allora prova ad arrivare a quella spiaggia: nuota, nuota, nuota, ma inutilmente. Le onde lo spostano a destra e a sinistra ma non riesce ad avvicinarsi. Alla fine, per fortuna, arriva un'onda così potente che lo scaraventa sulla sabbia del lido.
