4 Equidem cum coelos, opera digitorum tuorum, cum lunam et stellas a te conditas video: 5 quid est homo, ut eius memineris?

6 Atqui eum propemodum Deum fecisti, tantaque gloria et autoritate ornasti, 7 ut operum tuarum manuum Dominum feceris, omniaque eius pedibus subieceris, 8 non solum pecora omnia, tam maiora, quam minora, verum etiam bestias agrestes, 9 volucres aereas, et pisces marinos, marina peragrantes itinera.

Yet you have made him almost a god, and crowned him with such glory and honor, that you have made him lord over the works of your hands, and have put all things under his feet, not only the sheep and oxen, but also the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, traversing the paths of the seas.
