The Coolest Airbnb we ever stayed in
We spent some time road tripping around Spain with our dear Finnish friends, Henkka and Pia and their two boys. In total, we spent 10 nights with them. Airbnb isn't so popular in Spain but we did find a few good ones. One that was absolutely unforgettable was about 30 minutes outside of Granada, Spain and only $200/night. Since we split it between two families, it was totally worth it. Every room in this airbnb was like an art show, the walls were all mosaic with different patterns. There was even a “pond” in the entrance with fish in it and traditional Moorish costumes which we definitely took photos in for the fun memories. The house was a 10 minute walk to their city ‘center' which consisted of a small park, church, cafe, and store. Being the month of August, it was scorching hot in Southern Spain, think 40 degrees celsius. We didn't let the heat stop us from exploring the pueblos (small towns) and taking in the landscapes. Spain is one of the top producers of olives and olive oil. We were surrounded by the beautiful mountains and hectares of olive tree fields. I highly recommend taking a car around Spain especially for the natural beauty that you see literally everywhere, in the South, in the North, in the East, and in the West. Experience it all! You definitely won't regret it.
