الشيء الذي أرغب بشرحه أو إيصاله إليكم

هو أن الزن ليس شيئا غامضا، الزن ليس شيئا ما ورائيا وليس شيئا غريبا

في الزن ليس الهدف أن نفكر بشيء أخر أو مختلف عما نفكر به الآن

أو أن نشعر بشيء مختلف عما نشعر به الآن

ولا يتوجب على المرء أن يعتبر نفسه بوذيا كي يتدرب على الزن

.ولكن برأيي يمكن لنا أن نتعلم القليل من الزن لنكون الأشخاص الذين نحن هم ببساطة

إن مصطلح الزن هو النطق الياباني للمصطلح الصيني تشان والذي أتى من المصطلح السنسكريتي ديانا

وديانا تعني التأمل

نحن نضيف إلى حياتنا كما هي وإلى تفكيرنا كما هو وإلى شعورنا كما هو شيئا ما: وهو ممارسة التأمل

يمكن القول أن مدرسة الزن كما تطورت في ال 2500 سنة الأخيرة اتخذت التأمل كممارسة رئيسية وأحيانا كممارسة وحيدة لها

وهذا ليس الحال في جميع مدارس ومذاهب البوذية بل على العكس

إن تأمل الزن ليس تأملا نحاول من خلاله الوصول أو بلوغ شيء ما أو نحاول من خلاله الذهاب إلى مكان ما.

بل إن تأمل الزن هو تعبير أصلي عن حياتنا نفسها كما هي

من خلال الزن بإمكاننا مجددا تقدير حياتنا وحياة الآخرين

هنا يجب أن أعترف قد يبدو هذا كتناقض

نحن نضيف شيئا ما إلى حياتنا من أجل أن نعبر عن حياتنا ونقدرها في النهاية

كما هي دون أن نضيف إليها شيئا ما دون أن نرغب في بلوغ شيء ما

شونريو سوزوكي والذي أنشأ مركز الزن في سان فرانسيسكو حيث أمضيت حوالي العشرين سنة قبل أن آتي إلى برلين

قام بالتعبير عن هذه الحقيقة بالكلمات التالية، لقد قال

أنتم كاملون كما أنتم. وبعدها أضاف مع ابتسامة خجلة لكن ربما تحتاجون إلى تحسين بسيط.

أنا أعتقد هذا التحسين الذي تكلم عنه سوزوكي هو تأمل الزن

ولكن ليس من أجل تحسين شيء ما ولكن فقط من أجل أن نشعر بالاكتمال كما نحن

أنا كممارس للزن أفضل وصفه كتدريب أو ممارسة. إنه شيء نقوم به

بينما إذا قلبنا الأمور رأسا عل عقب فإن الزن يحيط بكل حياتنا

والزن في نظرتي ليس شيئا آخر غير التعبير عن هذه الحياة

بالطبع يملك الزن خلفية ثقافية

وتحديدا عندما نقبل أن الفلسفة هي جزء دائم من حياتنا

هذه الخلفية هي التفكير البوذي كما تطور في 2500 سنة في ثقافات مختلفة

أود دعوتكم الآن في هذا الوقت والذي سيبلغ حوالي الساعة أن آخذكم في رحلة عبر الهند و الصين واليابان

ومن خلال بعض ممثلي الزن بالإشارة إلى أفكار مهمة

والتي أثرت وطبعت هذه الممارسة

ولكي لا ننسى أن الزن هو ممارسة سوف نقوم بالتوقف ونمارس الزن

لقد قيل بشكل متكرر أن الزن تطور في الصين بدءا من القرن الخامس الميلادي

بالتأكيد هناك شيء ما من الحقيقة في ذلك

وذلك عندما نعني بالزن أسلوبا معينا ولغة محددة وطريقة معينة للتعبير

لكنني أرغب أن أبدأ رحلتنا مع عالم الزن قبل ذلك بكثير

في الهند القديمة حوالي عام 500 سنة قبل الميلاد

حيث ولد شخص والذي دعي لاحقا بالبوذا والذي يعني المستنير أو المتيقظ

لكنه في بداية حياته أعطي اسم سيدهارتا غوتاما

ولد سيدهارتا في عائلة غنية وذات تأثير سياسي كبير

وكما يتداول فإن أباه قام بحماية ابنه الذي رغب أن يكون خلفا له

لقد حمى الأب الابن من كل التجارب السيئة أو السلبية. أو حاول ذلك على الأقل

الأشخاص بينكم الذين لديهم أطفال سيفهمون هذا بالتأكيد

عاش الشاب اليافع خلف أسوار قصر حيث منع وجود المرضى وكبار السن

وحصل بالتأكيد على تربية جيدة و تزوج في عمر 16

فلنتصور سيدارتا كإنسان معاصر

كرجل استطاع تحقيق ما يشابه قيم مجتمعنا

النجاح المادي والتأثير الاجتماعي، كان لديه ابن

وأعتقد أنا شخصيا أن حياته الجنسية لم تكن مقتصرة على علاقته بزوجته

وعلى أية حال ابتداء من منتصف العشرينات بدأ سؤال يلح عليه

كيف هي الحياة حقا؟

ماذا يوجد خارج أسوار النعيم والترف هذه؟

وكما تروي القصة خطط ليلا مع صديق له أن يقوم برحلة استكشاف سرية

الشيء الأول الذي رآه في العالم كان الفقر، المرض، الشيخوخة والموت

سواء قام سيدهارتا بالفعل بهذه الرحلة أم لا، أستطيع فهم التالي من هذه القصة

ابتداء من عمر معين ما لم يعد سيدهارتا يستطيع تجاهل بعض الحقائق القاسية التي تتعلق بحياتنا

وخصوصا حقيقة موتنا وفنائنا

خلال حياته رأى سيدهارتا أشخاصا يافعين. وفجأة على الشارع جثة

وعندها قال لصديقه ما هذا؟

وبعدها سأل هل يحصل هذا للجميع؟ وأجاب صديقه نعم

نستطيع القول أن الأسئلة الوجودية بدأت بالاحاطة به ابتداء من هذه الفترة

في أديرة الزن ومراكز الزن يتم تعليق لوح سميك من الخشب والذي يطرق عليه بمطرقة خشبية بشكل صاخب في الصباح الباكر

كي يستيقظ أشخاص مثلي للتأمل

عندما تنظر إلى لوح الخشب هذا يمكنك في أغلب الأحيان قراءة التالي

أوضح السؤال الكبير المتعلق بالحياة والموت

لماذا نحن في هذه الحياة؟

هل لدينا واجب في هذا الكون الذي نوجد بداخله دون شك؟

حياتنا وعند قياسها بعمر الكون فإننا لا نعيش (يفرقع أصابعه)

سوى زمنا قصيرا

ولماذا نعاني؟ هل هناك إجابة لهذه المعاناة؟

أعتقد أنه عندما لا نغطيها بنشاطاتنا اليومية

تظهر هذه الأسئلة في ذاتنا ربما ليس دائما لكن بين الحين والآخر

تماما كما ظهرت لسيدهارتا عندما رأى الحياة بدون النظرة المزينة

تفسيري للقصة أنه لم يجد في القيم والفلسفات والاديان المتوفرة في وقته أجوبة

لقد سائل كل شئ بشكل راديكالي

كما قد يحصل للبعض منا في أيامنا هذه

وبهذا الشكل أرى سيدهارتا وعلى الرغم من أنه قد عاش قبل 2500سنة كإنسان معاصر لي

وهكذا عندما بلغ عمره 29 سنة

بدأ رحلة داخلية وخارجية والتي انتهت عندما بلغ عمره 35 تحت شجرة

بعدما جرب الكثير من الممارسات الزهدية والتي اقتربت به من الموت وليس من التحرر

جلس منهكا تحت شجرة

لكنه قطع عهدا على نفسه أنه لن ينهض مرة أخرى

قبل أن يحصل على إجابة على أسئلة الحياة والموت الكبرى

وفي الليلة السابعة اكتشف خلال جلوسه شيئا

هذا الشئ قام بتخليصه من قلقه وخوفه

ولكي أُعبر عن هذا بشكل مباشر

أستطيع القول لقد استفاق على الحقيقة

أو حقيقة الواقع

ولذا سمي المستنير أو المتيقظ

ما هي هذه التجربة التي عاشها بوذا؟

بالتأكيد يمكن الحديث عنها بشكل معقد

لكني سأحاول تفسيرها بشكل مباشر

لقد أدرك أن كل شيء كل شئ نختبره زائل

الافكار والمشاعر تأتي وتذهب

هذا الجسد الذي تملكه

وأجساد الآخرين يأتون يذهبون

وفي نفس الوقت رأى شيئا آخر

رغم تجربتنا المباشرة لحقيقة زوال كل الأشياء

نتعلق بأشياء ونعتقد أنها ثابتة وهذا تناقض

فمثلا نتعلق بالذات (أو الأنا)

بذات والتي نعتقد أنها أساسية وهذا يعني أنها حقيقية بشكل موضوعي وموجودة بشكل دائم

ذات مفصولة عن الذوات الأخرى وظواهر هذا الكون

وبسبب هذا التناقض بين الزوال الذي تتصف به كل الظواهر

واعتقادنا العميق بوجود ذات ثابتة غير زائلة

ينتج عن هذا ما أسماه بوذا لاحقا بالـ دوكاه

دوكاه وهي كلمة سنسكريتية قد تترجم كـ معاناة أو عدم ارتياح أو نقص أوآلام

أنا أعتقد أننا جميعا نعرف هذا الشعور أو الخبرة بشكل أو بآخر أحيانا بشكل خفيف وأحيانا بشكل مركز

معنى دوكاه الحرفي الشيء الذي يصعب حمله

زوالية كل الظواهر وكل التجارب المباشرة هو شئ من الصعب احتماله

من منظور ذات تعتقد أنها منفصلة وثابتة

عندما تامل بوذا وسائل كل شيء اكتشف أنه لا يجب علينا التعلق بهذه الأنا

وبمجرد تمكننا من التخلي عنها لا يوجد المزيد من الصدام بيننا وبين باقي العالم

وكما يعلم بوذا هذا شئ يمكننا التأكد منه خلال الممارسة

إن المخاوف العميقة ومشاعر اللاكتمال والنقص يمكن أن تزول

لأننا نقوم بموازنة أنفسنا وموازنة الأشياء كما هي

ومن أجل السماح لفكرة معاكسة بالظهور

والتي دائما ما تطرح في الحديث عن الزن والبوذية

لدينا بالطبع ذات

لكن هذه الذات موضوعة في سياق وهي تتشكل من التجربة التي نمر خلالها الآن

وعلى سبيل المثال فإن الأنا الخاصة بي تنشأ في هذه اللحظة عندما أتكلم معكم

وأستطيع القول أن العكس صحيح أيضا

هذا الترابط مع الأشياء الأخرى. هذه الأنا ناشئة مترابطة مع هذا الكون هي ليست شيئا آخر غير تجربتنا. ليس هنالك شخص يقوم بهذه التجربة

إن هذه المعرفة او النظرة هذه اليقظة تجاه الواقع هي ما علمه بوذا وكل معلمي ومعلمات الزن حتى اليوم في صيغ جديدة وروايات مختلفة

ولكن كيف يمكننا التحقق من هذه الرؤية؟ وتجربة ذلك بطريقة شخصية؟

أنا لا أرغب بإقناعكم بشيء ما وأود فقط أن أطرح لكم هذه الفكرة. ربما بإمكاننا رؤية او ايجاد هذا الوضع المتناقض في أنفسنا

هذا التناقض ينشأ كالتالي

كل شيء يتغير بشكل دائم لكننا تتعلق بشيء ما في داخلنا معتقدين أنه لن يتغير. وهذا يتصادم مع بعضه

وإليكم الآن قصة عن بوذا وكيف كان يعلم

وسوف تساعدكم هذه القصة على فهم لماذا اتخذت الحديث عن بوذا بداية الانطلاق في رحلة الزن هذه

خلال حياة بوذا عاش رجل اسمه باهيا

لقد كان باهيا معلم يوغا ناجحا غنيا ومشهورا وقد عاش في جنوب الهند

كان عقل باهيا منفتحا. لقد كان نجاحه جيدا لكنه شعر أنه ينقصه شيء ما في تجربته

لم يكن قد استقر بشكل كامل مع ذاته

ويمكن أن نقول أنه كان على تماس مع الدوكاه

شعور بالنقص وفي حالته ربما شكل من أشكال الشعور بالنقص الروحاني

وهكذا انطلق باهيا في رحلة لاشك انها كانت صعبة عبر شبه القارة الهندية تجاه الشمال حيث عاش بوذا وعلم

التقى ببوذا أخيرا في مدينة صغيرة عندما كان بوذا يسير مع تلاميذه على الطريق طلبا للطعام

في البداية قال بوذا أنه مشغول ولكن بعدما طلب باهيا منه للمرة الثالثة أن يعلمه قال البوذا

يا باهيا

عند الرؤية، توجد الرؤية فقط... في السمع يوجد السمع فقط

وتابع بوذا حديثه متناولا كل الحواس ومتضمنا التفكير. لأن التفكير في الممارسات والتعاليم البوذية تجربة حسية. وعندها قال

عندما تصبح في الرؤية فقط رؤية بالنسبة لك. وفي السمع سمع فقط عندها لا يوجد لا هنا ولاهناك ولا ما بينهما

وعندما لا يوجد لا هنا ولا هناك ولا ما بينهما بالنسبة لك ... هذا وهذا بالتحديد هو نهاية المعاناة

وكما تروي القصة استنار باهيا وتحرر

بعد بضع ساعات مات باهيا في حادث. لقد مات لكنَّه كان قد تحرر

بالنسبة لي هذه قصة زن قبل أن يوجد الزن بشكل رسمي

قصة قصيرة ومباشرة وتشير إلى طبيعة الوعي العميقة. إلى طبيعة الوعي الخالية من الأنا

لكن بالنسبة للناس مثلي ومثلكم. ربما من الصعب قليلا أن نفهمها

ً تأمل الزن ينطلق بشكل كلي من الجسد وهذا ما يجعله حديثا

اليوم نحن نعرف المزيد عن الترابط بين الجسد والعقل ونحن نعرف أنه لا يمكن أبدا فصل الجسد عن العقل

الزن هو أيضا ممارسة يوغية لكن أود أن أضيف أن الكل بغض النظر عن الحالة الجسدية التي يمتلكونها وبغض النظر عن العمر يمكنهم ممارسة الزن

في البداية لستم بحاجة للجلوس على وسادة يمكنكم الجلوس على كرسي

لكنني أرغب بإعطائكم بعض النصائح

أعتقد أنه يمكن أن نختبر شيئا من الانفتاح إذا وضعتم أرجلكم على الأرض

يمكنكم الاتكاء على ظهر المقعد ولكن جربوا فيما إذا كان بإمكانكم الجلوس بشكل مستقيم وبصدر مفرود

هذا الصدر المنفتح يعني أننا منفتحون لما يحدث وما يأتي وما يذهب

الكلمة التي تعني العقل في اللغة الصينية واليابانية تشين تعني أيضا قلب. وأنا أعتقد ان هناك حكمة عميقة باعتقادي أن العقل والجسد وحدة متكاملة لا تنفصل

دعونا نحاول بضع دقائق أن نجلس في تجربتنا المباشرة

أحسوا بجسدكم

أصغوا إلى ما تستمعون إليه

شاهدوا ما ترونه

اسمحوا لأعضاء الحس أن تعمل

الأفكار تأتي وتذهب

لكن عندما تريد أفكارنا إخراجنا من هذا الوضع والذي نحن فيه. مثلا عندما تفكرون: ماذا سوف أشرب بعد الانتهاء من هذا؟ عودوا بأفكاركم ويمكنكم فعل هذا عندما تحسون بحضوركم الجسدي والعقلي

يا باهيا في السمع يوجد السمع فقط في الرؤية توجد الرؤية فقط... عندما لا يوجد في السمع سوى السمع بالنسبة لك عندها لا يوجد لا هنا ولا هناك ولا ما بينهما

اسمحوا لسؤال أن يظهر في عقلكم مع متابعة الإحساس بجسدكم

أنتم تستمعون إلى هذا الصوت

...أين ينتهي هذا الصوت وأين يبدأ؟ لا تفكروا بهذا... استمعوا فقط...

هذا كان تأمل الزن

إن تدريب الزن أو ممارسة بوذا يتم تسميتها بشكل متكرر بالطريق الأوسط

إنه طريق بين اللذية والذي جربها بوذا بدون شك. والزهدية والتي مارسها وعلى أية حال عندما وجد الحكمة تحت الشجرة تخلص منها أيضا
