Mr . Or la nd o: Th is i s Th e Jo y of Ar t wi th M r. O rl an do .

Hello and welcome.

You are just in time to relax and enjoy some art time

with me, and my good friend Jessica.

How are you, Jessica?

I'm good, but how are you?

I am great! Oh, I am so good.

You know why?

Because today we are going to paint happiness.

We are going to paint friendship,

because today, Jessica, we are going to paint a puppy dog.

Okay. A puppy dog!

Is that good?

Yes! It's really good.

I know! I'm so excited. I'm glad that you're excited too.

All you need to paint a puppy dog with us,

or draw one, is your art supplies

and your imagination.

Did you bring your imagination, Jessica?

Yes!

I just brought it from home!

That's where we keep it!

Oh! What a professional art attitude.

Now, one of the best things about art

is you can use whatever colour you like.

So I'm going to choose... mm... fuzzy wuzzy brown colour

for the puppy.

Yes, I think that would be perfect.

Now we're going to start with a sideways oval.

Nice big oval for our puppy dog's nose.

And we'll just put a little bit of paint there now.

We're also going to do an upside down,

sort of a "U" shape, I guess.

Just like...that!

Dog gone it! This is looking adorable already!

Yeah, mine too!

Oh! I'm so happy to hear that.

Okay, now, while you still have that first colour on your brush,

let's just fill in those shapes.

So our dog has a nice fluffy coat.

Isn't that nice? Just a nice, fluffy coat.

[laughing]

Oh, I can't wait to meet this pupper. Hey-- uh...

What do you think you'll call your puppy, Jessica?

Um, I'll call him...

..Mr. Orlando!

Oh!

'Cause it's brown!

Love that name!

Excellent choice.

Ah, I think mine will be called Mr. Dog

because he's a professional, just like me.

Okay, now, let's give Mr. Dog some ears.

You can keep using the same colour,

or can switch it up if you feel like.

You are the artist on your canvass.

So I'm going to use a nice black colour, I think,

to draw on the ears.

First I'll start here, one on the left side.

And I'll just fill that in,

and give him a nice ear on the right side there.

And we can colour that in with the black as well.

Ah!

Beautiful!

What are you working on over there, Jessica?

I'm giving my puppy dog a face!

Oh! Excellent art instinct.

Now I'll just use that same black paint to draw

a little semicircle for his sniffly, snuffly snout.

And then, two little circles above the nose for his eyes.

We'll do one, and another eye,

I think I've got enough paint on the brush, right there.

Don't forget your puppy's eyebrows.

One, and...two!

Ah!

This doggy is starting to look quite fetching.

[laughing] Okay!

Ooh! That reminds me, our doggy needs a mouth.

So let's add a nice mouth by drawing one frontwards "J",

and one backwards "J" like that.

And...voila!

Oh-ho! Our puppy dog is finished.

Ah, is yours done too, Jessica?

Yes!

Oh! Ho, ho, ho! Oh, Jessica. That is a puppy dog masterpiece.

He's so realistic.

Oh, I wish I knew how to say "well done" in dog.

[dog barking]

Hm?

[barking]

[laughing] Okay.

Well, that's a very convincing bark, Jessica,

but it's hard to say if that's the right

dialect for this breed-- Oh! What? Oh!

Oh! [laughing]

Oh, well, hello!

Well aren't you guys handsome?

Oh-ah! Bop-bop-bop-bop!

Watch the hair, watch the hair!

[giggling] That tickles.

Very cute. Mm.

Very cute.

Ah!
