specially and especially. ypač|| speziell und besonders.

Today, I'm going to tell you the difference. Heute erkläre ich euch den Unterschied.

Both of these words are adverbs. |||||adverbs Beide Wörter sind Adverbien.

Especially means 'in particular' or 'most of all'. |||ypač|||| Besonders bedeutet „insbesondere“ oder „vor allem“.

For example:

I like food, Ich mag Essen,

but I especially like sandwiches. ||||sumuštinius aber ich mag Sandwiches besonders.

This means that I particularly like sandwiches. Das bedeutet, dass ich Sandwiches besonders mag.

They're my favourite kind of food. Sie sind mein Lieblingsessen.

Specially, however, has a different meaning. |||||meaning Speziell hat jedoch eine andere Bedeutung.

Specially means Speziell bedeutet

'for a particular purpose' or 'in a particular way'. ||||||||способ ||konkretų|tikslas||||konkretus|būdu „für einen bestimmten Zweck“ oder „in besonderer Weise“.

So: So:

This sandwich was specially made. Dieses Sandwich wurde speziell hergestellt.
