で 、限界 まで 食べる と ニャンチ どう なる か わかります か ？ 吐く んです よ 。

猫 って グルーミング して ね 、毛 を 飲み込む から 、よく 毛玉 が 溜まって 吐く こと は 一般的だ と 思います けど 、それ が 理由 でも 履きます けど ね 。 ニャンチ の 場合 は 、食べ 過ぎて 吐く こと も 多い です 。

前 も お 話した こと が あります が 、ニャンチ は urinary tract infection って オシッコ が 出 にくく なっちゃう 病気 に よく なる ので 、基本 ドライフード で は なくて 缶詰 を あげてる んです けど 、 食いしん坊 過ぎて 、 自分 の お 皿 が 空 に なったら 、 クロチ の お 皿 に 余り 物 が ない かな ーって 必ず チェック し に いって 、 あれば それ も 食べちゃ う ん です 。 一方 で クロチ は 少食 な ので 、少食 だ し 、結構 小分け に して 食べたい タイプ なんです よね 。 だから 残して おいて も 、後 から 少し して また 食べ に 戻って くる んです よ 。

でも 後 で 食べよ ーって 残して おいて も 、 ニャンチ に それ が 見つかる と 、 全部 食べられちゃって 、 クロチ が 戻って きた 時 に は もう 無い … みたいな こと が 多々 あります 。 注意 して 見て いて あげ ない と 、そう なります ね 。 あと は ニャンチ は 私 たち 人間 が 食べてる もの に も とても 興味 が あって 、好きです ね 。

お 肉 とか 大好き です 。 完全なる 肉食 です 。 ニャンチ は 。

ちなみに ニャンチ の 特技 が 、お手 が 完璧に できる こと と 、最近 は お手 を した 状態 で もう 片方 の 手 でも お手 が できる ように なった んです よ 。

我が家 は お手 の こと を 「ハンド 」って 言う んです が 、「ハンド 」って いって 片方 の 手 を 私 の 手 に 載せて きて 、で 、「こっち も ハンド 」って 言って もう 片方 に も 手 を 差し出す と 、そっち も 載せて くれる んです 。 両手 で お手 を マスター しました 。 これ も ね 、食いしん坊 が 故 に 習得 できた こと でして 、ご褒美 を 貰いたい が ため に 、目の前 の ご褒美 を 食べたい が ため に 、どんどん 覚える こと が できます 。 あと は ね 、チーン って 言う 受付 とか に ある ベル わかります か ？ これ も お手 と 同じ 要領 だ から ニャンチ できる んじゃ ない ？ って 練習 したら できる ように なりました 。 完全に ベル を 慣らせば 何か 貰える って わかってます ね 。 無限に 鳴らし 続けちゃう ので 、基本 その ベル は 閉まってる んです が 、時々 出しっぱなし に してたり 、ちょっと その辺 に 置いてある と 、それ を 見つけた ニャンチ が 鳴らして 、いきなり チーンって 家 の 中 に ベル の 音 が 鳴り響く こと が あります 。 ニャンチ は ね 、芸 達者 です ね 。

これ も 食いしん坊 の 賜物 です 。

クロチ に も お手 と か 教えた んです けど 、できる ように は なりました けど 、ニャンチ ほど の 安定感 は ありません から ね 。 ニャンチ の 場合 は お手 も 確実に 、しっかり 手 を 置いて くる し 、しかも お手 を した 後 に 必ず 私たち の 目 を 見て 、「ほら お手 を してる よ 。 私 えらい でしょ 。 ご 褒美 ちょうだい 」って 訴え かけて きます 。 あと は 甘え 上手で 、何か 欲しい と お膝の上に 乗って 来て 、まあ 太腿の上です ね 。

で 上目遣い で アピール して 来ます 。 特に 旦那さん の へ の ラブラブアピール が 上手 で 、メロメロ に なってます 。 クロチ は 、少食 、チョビチョビ 食べ タイプ で 、更に は 水 を 頻繁に 飲む と いう 、超 ヘルシーな 食生活 を 送ってます 。 ご飯 を 食べた 後 も 、寝て 起きた 時 も 必ず 水 を 飲んでます 。 えらい 。 見習いたい 。 私 も ね 、水分 を ビール か コーヒー で しか 摂取 しない タイプ なんで ね 、クロチ を 見習って お 水 飲みたい と 思います 。 ニャンチ は お 水 全然 飲ま なくて 、それ が オシッコトラブル に も 恐らく 関連 して いる ので 、

ニャンチ も ね 、私 と 一緒に クロチ の 行動 を 見習いましょう ね 。 クロチ は 、基本的に 人間 の 食べ物 に は 興味 を 示さ なくて 、

ニャンチ に 時々 お 肉 の かけら と か あげる 時 に 、クロチ に も 食べる ？ って あげて みる んです けど 、

「 うわ 。 くっさ 。 これ 、肉 じゃ ん 。 肉 なんて 野蛮な もの は 私 食べません の 。」 って 感じ で 、プイ って して どっか いっちゃいます 。 でも ね 、ポテトチップス とか 、トルティーヤチップス とか は 大好き な んです よ 。 クロチ 。

なんか 、最近 の 子 って 感じ じゃ 無い ？ ご飯 と か は そんな 食べ ない けど 、ポテチ は 食べます 。 みたいな 。

パリ パリ した もの が 好き みたいで 。

面白い の が 、基本 食べ物 なら 何 に でも ガッツいてる ニャンチ は 、ポテチ に は 一切 興味 ない の 。

猫 も 好み って 違う んです ねぇ 。 性格 は 、ニャンチ は 好奇心 旺盛 で 、外 の 世界 が すごく 気に なる んです よ 。

我が家 の 猫 達 は 完全 インドア な ので 外 に 自由に 行く 事 とか 許して ない んです けど 、ちょっと チャンス が ある と すぐ 脱走って いう か 、外に フラッと 出ちゃいます 。 これ まで も 何度 か あります ね 。 今 の 家 に 住んで から は 全然 なかった んです が 、つい 先日 、玄関 の 扉 が 少し 開いて て 、それ に 気づか なくて 、

ハッと 思った 時 に は もう 遅い 、ニャンチ が 外 の 植え込み の ところ で フラフラ してました 。 少し くらい 外 に 行く の は いい の かも しれない で すけど ね 、帰って きて くれれば 。

でも 病気 に なって しまったり 、交通 事故 に あって しまったり したら どうしようって めっちゃ 過保護 です から ね 。 ニャンチ に は 窮屈 か です けど 、安全な 家 の 中 に いて もらってます 。 普段 は ニャンチ は 寝てます ね 。 基本 、いつ 見て も 寝てます 。 私 たち が 何 か 食べてる と 、「あれ 、私 の ご飯 も ある の かしら ？ 」って 感じ で 起きて きます けど 、基本 は 寝てます ね 。 ずっと 寝て る んです けど 、飼い主 的に ちょっと 嬉しい の は 、

寂し がり 屋 な の か な ん な の か 、 私 たち が いる 部屋 、 一緒の 部屋 で 寝て いる こと が 多い です ね 。

2 人 とも リビング に いれば リビング で 寝る し 、ベッドルーム に 移動 したら 、気づいたら ニャンチ も ベッドルーム に 来て 寝る みたいな 。

可愛い です 。

あと は ニャンチ は 深い 眠り に 入って しまう と 、全然 起き ないで す 。

警戒 心 ゼロ な んです よね 。 撫でたり 、更に は ちょっと 意地悪 です けど 強く 揺すったり 大きな 声 で 呼んだり も します が 、全然 起き ないで す 。 一方 、クロチ は 、めっちゃ ビビリ です 。 ちょっと した 音 でも ビクって 怖がります 。 例えば 揚げ物 と かしたり して 、キッチン の 換気扇 の 強さ を 強 に して ブオォォォン ！ って 換気扇 が 少し 大きめ な 音 を 出して 回りだす と 、

怖がって ベッドルーム の 奥 に 逃げて いきます 。 あと は 4th of July アメリカ の 独立 記念日 の 前後 って 近所 で 花火 を みんな 結構 する んです けど 、毎年 ビビ ちゃって 、今 の アパート に 来た 1 年目 とか 、ビビって どっか に 隠れちゃって 、それ が どこ に 隠れた の か 全然 見つけられなくて 困った って こと が ありました 。 結局 どう やって 開けた の ？ って いう 洗面台 の キャビネット の 中 の 奥 の 方 で うずくまってました 。 もちろん ね 、ちょっと 外 の 空気 でも 吸わ せよう と 抱っこ して 家 の 外 に 出る と 、

これ が ニャンチ なら 興味 津 々 で キョロキョロ 、クンクン 、遊び に 行きたい 、降ろして 降ろして ーって 感じ に なる んです けど 、クロチ は ビビって 、抱っこ している 私たち の 肩 とか 腕 を ギュイーーーって 掴んで 帰りたい 、帰りたい ！ 怖い 怖い ー ！ って なります 。 もう 本当に 2 人 全然 違います 。 クロチ は ね 、ニャンチ と 比べたら お 昼寝 の 時間 は 少ない です ね 。

おもちゃ で 遊ぶ の が 大好き で 、犬 みたいな 感じ で ボール を 私 が 投げて 、それ を 取って くるって いう 遊び が 好きです 。 あれ 、クロチ は 猫 だ よ ね 、犬 じゃ 無い よ ね ？ って 感じ で 、

ちゃんと 取って くるし 、私 が パソコン 作業 に 集中 してる と 机 の 上 に まで 持ってきて 、ぽとって 私 の 手元 に ボール を 置いたり も します 。 すごい でしょ 。 可愛い の ー 。

そして 呼んだら 来て くれます 。 隣 の 部屋 から 呼んで も 来て くれる し 、どっか に 行こう と 歩き 始めて て も 呼ぶ と 止まって 方向 を 変えて 戻って 来て くれます 。 あと は クロチ は すごく 普段 から スリスリ 甘えて きて 、ヘッドバッド 、頭 突き が 激しい です 。

「なんだ よ 甘えん坊 だ なぁ 。」 って いって スリスリ に 応じる の が 私 も 夫 も 大好きです 。

でも ね 、これ が 寝る 時 に なる と ニャンチ とは 対照的で 、1人 で 寝たい らしくて 、私たち の 近く で 寝る のではなくて 、結構 離れて 、1人 で 別の 部屋 に 行って 寝てる こと が 多い です ね 。 面白い です よ ね 。

夜 も 、ニャンチ は 基本 私たち の 足元 に 必ず 寝てる んです が 、クロチ は 日に よって どっか その辺 で 寝てる こと も 多くて 、最近 は ね 、寒い から かみん な で ベッド で 寝る こと も 多い です けど 、 そう ね 、 寝る 時 は パーソナルスペース を しっかり と 保ちたい 派 です ね 、 クロチ は 。 はい 、こんな 我が家 の 2匹 の 猫達 です 。

2 人 とも ね 、家 に 来て くれる 友達 とか には すぐに 懐いて 、クロチ は ね 、少し 最初 様子 見たり してます けど 、ニャンチ は もう 初め から クンクン 、お前 誰 だ ！ なんか 食べ物 くれる の か ？ みたいな 感じ で 、近づいて いく し 、

クロチ も 少し すれば すぐに 遊んで 〜って 懐いて て 、我が家 に 来て くれた 人 は 、みんな 2人 の こと を 好きに なって くれます 。 もう 可愛くて 可愛くて 仕方 が ないで す 。

あと 2 人 とも いい 匂い すぎて 、お腹 の 匂い を いつも 嗅いでます 。 モフって お腹 に 顔 を くっつけて 思いっきり 匂い を 嗅ぐ と 幸せな んです よね ー 。 猫 って なんで こんなに 良い 匂い なんだ ろ 。 ニャンチ は ポンポコリン の お腹 なんで 、モフモフ する の が 気持ち いし 、

クロチ は なぜ か 時々 チョコレートっぽい 匂い なんか して 良い 匂い だ し 、とにかく 可愛い し で 、 もう 1 日 に 何度 「可愛い ね ー 」って 言って モフモフ して 匂い を かいで いる か わかりません 。 本当に 癒し 。

私 が 最近 ハマって いる もの や 、気に なっている こと 、お気に入り の 商品 など に ついて お話している コーナー です 。 今日 お 話 する 最近 ずっと ハマって いる もの は 、炭火 焼き 料理 です 。 きっかけ は 結構 前 な んです が 、 World Market って いう 私 の 大好きな お店 が あるんです けど 、 World Market って 何 屋 って 言ったら いんだろう 。 雑貨 屋 ？ 何でも 売って て 、家具 も キッチン 用品 も 、ちょっと した プレゼント に 良さそうな 雑貨 とかも 、お菓子 とか パスタ ソース とか の 食べ物 とかも 、とにかく 何でも 売って て 、

置いて ある もの 全部 が 可愛い 、天国 の ような お店 なんです が 、

world market って くらい な ので アメリカ 雑貨 って いう より は 世界 の 色々な 国 から 集めた もの みたいな 、そんな 感じ なんです 。 と いう か 、もし かして 私 まだ world market に ついて ポッドキャスト で 話した こと 無い ですっけ ？ あら や だ 。 てっきり 話した こと あった と 思って た 。 そりゃ 大変 だ 。

え 、本当 ？ そう だっけ ？ 話して ない っけ ？ ちょっと それ は ダメ です ね 。 今度 しっかり と world market 愛 を 語ります 。 もう すごい 素敵な お 店 なんで すって 。

その world market で 、 Yakitori Ceramic Charcoal Barbecue Grill なる もの が 売って まして 、

卓上 の 四角い 七輪 なんです けど 、

もう 見た 感じ から 、 あー 、 これ で 焼き鳥 やったら 美味しい だろう な ーって 感じ で 、 ちょうど その 時 クリアランス か 何 か で 半額 と か に なって た の か な 、 だから 買っちゃ おう ！ って なって 買った んです よ 。

で 、去年 パンデミック で 家 に いる 時間 も 長かった こと で 、我が家 は 庭 で 、庭 と いう ほど の 広さ も ない んです が 、

パティオ です ね 、外 の パティオ で 過ごす 時間 が 増えました 。 意識 的に 、どこ も 行かない 代わりに 、ちょっと 外 の 空気 を 吸おう か みたいな 。

そこ で ね 、この 七輪 を 使って 、焼き鳥 を 炭火 焼 で 作る という のに ハマった わけです よ 。 ね ー 、 皆さん 知ってる ？ 家 で もめっちゃ 美味しい 焼き鳥 が 食べられる んです よ 。 最高 な の 。

だんだん コツ を 掴んで きて 、鶏肉 の 選び方 とか 、切り方 とか 、串打ち の 仕方 とか 、

もう 今では ね 、プロ です よ 。

焼き鳥 屋 Utaco 開店 で 来ます 。 最高 。

特に アメリカ に いる と 日本 みたいに 焼き鳥 が 身近な もの で は ない んです よね 。

居酒屋 や 焼き鳥 屋 も 無い し 、都会 に 行けば 日本 の 居酒屋 みたいな お店 は あります けど 、日本 みたいに 1 串 100 円 とか で は 到底 食べられない です よね 。 あと スーパー で 気軽に 焼き鳥 が 買える ！ みたいな 環境 で も 無い で すし 。

そんな 環境 の 中 、こんなに 美味しい 焼き鳥 が 家 で 食べられる なんて 、もう 幸せ の 極み です 。 基本 私 も 夫 も 塩焼き が 好きな んです が 、ちょっと 次回 は タレ 焼き に も 挑戦 したい なー なんて 思ったり して います 。 と いう 、 いや ー 、 炭火 で 焼く 焼き鳥 は 美味しい ねぇ と 感動 して いた 私 たち 夫婦 な の です が 、

さらに 炭火 焼き に ハマる きっかけ が ありまして 。

私 たち が 仲良く して もらって いる ご 夫婦 が いる んです が 、

その ご 夫婦 と の ご飯 会 で 炭火 焼 BBQ を しよう という こと に なって 、そこ で ね 、海鮮 とか 野菜 を たくさん 御馳走 に なり まして 、

それ が 美味しかった こと 美味しかった こと 。

新鮮な 海 鮮って 良い お 値段 も する し なかなか 自分たち で は 躊躇 してしまう のです が 、帆立 とか 、エビ とか 、鮭 とか を 炭火 で 焼いて お 醤油 チョって 垂らして 食べたんですけど 、くぅぅぅぅぅぅ 。 めっちゃ 美味しかった んです 。 野菜 も 焼く の が その お 友達 とって も 上手で 、マッシュルーム とか 、アスパラ とか 、下味 を しっかり つけたり 、オイル を 絡めて おいたり して 、そういう ひと 工夫 プラス 炭火 焼き で 、めちゃ ヤバ 最高に 美味しく なる んです よ 。

皆さん 、本当に なんでも 、炭火 で 焼く と 美味しく なります 。 なんてったって まず 雰囲気 が 美味しい です から ね 。 焼き 方 は 素材 に よって コツ が あって です ね 、まだまだ 私たち は 修行中 で あります 。 これ から も 色々 焼いて いこう と 思います 。 その 我が家 で ずっと 使って いた world market の 七輪 なんです が 、中 板 って いう んですか ね 、中 敷 って いう んですか ね 、が ある んですが 、 その 中 敷 の 網 を 敷いて 、 その 上 に 炭 を 載せるって 使い 方 な ん です けど 、 忘れて 使っちゃ た こと が あった から か 、 七輪 が 割れて しまった ん です よ 。 それ でも ワイヤー で 固定 して そのまま 何回 か 使って いたんです が 、

こんなに 美味しい し 、結構 使う し 、新しい の 買って も いい んじゃない ？ って こと で 、

新しい 炭火 焼 用 グリル を 買った んです ぅ 。

嬉しい ぃ 。 これ で 居酒屋 Utaco やりたい 放題 です よ 。 新しい グリル は セラミック で は なくて 、ステンレス 製 なの え 、風情 が ある ねぇ 。 って 感じ で ない んです が 、

でも 折りたため て 使い 勝手 も 良 さ そうだ し 、あと 前 に 使って いた もの より も 少し 大きく なって 、一度に 焼ける 面積 が 増えました 。 ま ぁ 2 人 な ので 、だいたい 飲み ながら ちびちび 焼いて 食べる スタイル な のです が 、でも 使い やすくて 良い 感じ です 。

まだ 1 回 しか 使って ない んです けど 、日 に よって は まだまだ 寒くて ね 、特に 2 月 って 毎年 寒い んです よね 。 早く 暖かく なって 、もっと 色々 焼いて 食べたい です 。 楽しみ ー 。
