מָה נִמְצָא בְּאֶמְצַע הָעוֹלָם, مَا|نَجِد|في وَسَط|العَالَم ||in the middle of| What is in the middle of the world, مَا نَجِدُ فِي وَسَطِ الْعَالَم,

קַו הַמַּשְׁוֶה, הַקֹּטֶב, הַיַּבָּשָׁה אוֹ הַיָּם? line|the comparator|the pole|the land|| خط|الاستواء|القطبي|اليابسة|أو|البحر The equator, the pole, the land or the sea? خَطُّ الْمُشَابَهَةِ، الْقُطْبُ، الْيَابِسَةُ أَوِ الْبَحْرُ؟

אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל הִיא טַבּוּר הָעוֹלָם, أرض|إسرائيل|هي|محور|العالم |||the center of| The land of Israel is the navel of the world, أَرْضُ إِسْرَائِيلَ هِيَ تَبُورُ الْعَالَمِ,

כְּמוֹ הַפּוּפִּיק בְּגוּף הָאָדָם. مثل|السُّرَّة|في جسم|الإنسان |the bellybutton|| Like the belly button in the human body. كَمَا الْسُرَّةُ فِي جِسْمِ الْإِنْسَان.

וּבְאֶמְצַע יִשְׂרָאֵל נִמְצֵאת יְרוּשָׁלַיִם, وفي وسط|إسرائيل|توجد|القدس And in the midst of Israel is Jerusalem, وفي وسط إسرائيل توجد القدس,

עַל פִּסְגַּת הֶהָרִים, נוֹגַעַת בַּשָּׁמַיִם, على|قمة|الجبال|تلامس|بالسماء |summit||| On the top of the mountains, touching the sky, على قمة الجبال، تلامس السماء,

כִּי בַּמֶּרְכָּז נִמְצָא תָּמִיד הַדָּבָר הֶחָשׁוּב, لأن|في المركز|يوجد|دائمًا|الشيء|المهم |||||the important Because in the center is always the important thing, لأن في المركز يوجد دائماً الشيء المهم,

הַדָּבָר הַיָּקָר, הַדָּבָר הָאָהוּב. الشيء|الثمين|الشيء|المحبوب The precious thing, the beloved thing. الشيء الثمين، الشيء المحبوب.

וּבְלֵב הָעִיר, זֶה לֹא חָדָשׁ, وفي قلب|المدينة|هذا|ليس|جديد And in the heart of the city, it's not new, وفي قلب المدينة، هذا ليس جديداً,

שָׁם מְקוֹמוֹ שֶׁל בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ. هناك|مكانه|ل|بيت|المقدس ||||the Temple The name of the place of the temple. هُنَاكَ مَكَانُ بَيْتِ الْمِقْدَسِ.

וּבְאֶמְצַע הַמָּקוֹם הַקָּדוֹשׁ וְהַנּוֹרָא, وفي وسط|المكان|المقدس|والمهيب |||and the terrible And in the midst of the holy and terrible place, وَفِي وَسَطِ الْمَكَانِ الْمُقَدَّسِ وَالْمُرَوِّعِ,

נִמְצָא הַהֵיכָל וּבוֹ הַמְּנוֹרָה. موجود|الهيكل|وبه|المنارة The temple with the lamp is in it. يَتَوَاجَدُ الْهَيْكَلُ وَفِيهِ الْمَنُورَةُ.

ובְלֵב הַהֵיכָל הָאָרוֹן ובו סֵפֶר הַתּוֹרָה, وفي قلب|الهيكل|التابوت|وبه|سفر|التوراة And in the heart of the ark of the covenant, with the book of the law, وَفِي قَلْبِ الْهَيْكَلِ الْآرُونُ وَفِيهِ سِفْرُ التَّوْرَاةِ,

"קֹדֶשׁ הַקָּדָשִׁים" הַמָּקוֹם נִקְרָא, قدس|الأقداس|المكان|يُدعى The place is called "Holy of Holies", "قُدْسُ الْأَقْدَاسِ" يُدْعَى الْمَكَانُ,

וְיֵשׁ אוֹמְרִים שֶׁשּׁוֹמְרִים עָלָיו وهناك|يقولون|أنهم يحرسون|عليه And some say that they are guarded وَيُقَالُ إِنَّهُ يُحَافَظُ عَلَيْهِ

שְׁנֵי מַלְאָכִים בְּצֶבַע זָהָב. اثنان|ملائكة|بلون|ذهب ||in the color of| Two angels in gold. مَلَكَانِ بِالْلَّوْنِ الذَّهَبِي.

וְלִפְנֵי הָאָרוֹן עוֹמֶדֶת وأمام|التابوت|تقف And in front of the closet stands وَأَمَامَ التَّابُوتِ تَقِفُ

הָאֶבֶן הֲכִי מְיֻחֶדֶת, الحجر|الأكثر|تميزًا |the most|special The most special stone, الصَّخْرَةُ الأَكْثَرُ تَمَيُّزًا,

הָאֶבֶן שֶׁמִּמֶּנָּה נוֹלַד הָעוֹלָם, الحجر|الذي منها|وُلِدَ|العالم The stone from which the world was born, الصَّخْرَةُ الَّتِي وُلِدَ مِنْهَا الْعَالَمُ,

הַנְּהָרוֹת, הַיַּמִּים, הַדְּבָרִים כֻּלָּם. الأنهار|البحار|الأشياء|كلهم The rivers, the seas, the things are all. الأنهار، البحار، الأشياء كلها.

כִּי בַּמֶּרְכָּז נִמְצָא הַדָּבָר הֶחָשׁוּב, لأن|في المركز|يوجد|الشيء|المهم Because in the center is the important thing, لأن في المركز يوجد الشيء المهم,

הַדָּבָר הַיָּקָר, הַדָּבָר הָאָהוּב. الشيء|الثمين|الشيء|المحبوب الشيء الثمين، الشيء المحبوب.

וַאֲנִי יְרוּשַׁלְמִית, יְרוּשָׁלַיִם עִירִי. وأنا|يروشلميت|القدس|مدينتي And I, Jerusalem, Jerusalem, my city. وأنا يروشليمية، يروشليم مدينتي.

בְּטַבּוּרָהּ עוֹמֵד בֵּיתִי. in its center|| في وسطها|يقف|بيتي In the navel stands my house. في وسطها يقف بيتي.

וּבְאֶמְצַע הַבַּיִת חַדְרוֹן, وفي وسط|البيت|خزانة ||bathroom And in the midst of the house Chadron, وفي وسط البيت غرفة,

וּבַחֶדֶר מִטָּה לְיַד הָאָרוֹן, and in the room|bed||the wardrobe وفي الغرفة|سرير|بجانب|الخزانة And in the room down by the closet, وفي الغرفة سرير بجانب الخزانة,

וּבַמִּטָּה תִּינֹקֶת שׁוֹכֶבֶת, and on the bed|| وفي السرير|الرضيع|نائمة And in the womb a baby is lying down, وعلى السرير طفلة نائمة,

הַתִּינֹקֶת שֶׁאֲנִי אוֹהֶבֶת. الطِّفْلَة|التي|أحب The baby I love. الطفلة التي أحبها.

אֲנִי לְלֶחְיָהּ נוֹשֶׁקֶת, أنا|لخديها|أقبل |to her cheek| I kiss her cheek, أنا أقبل خدها,

וְהַתִּינֹקֶת צוֹחֶקֶת. والطفلة|تضحك |is laughing And the baby laughs. وَالطِّفْلَةُ تَضْحَكُ.
