我 不 知道 現在 在 聽 podcast 的 你們 是不是 學生 ？ I don't know if you are students listening to the podcast now? 還是 你們 已經 畢業 了 ， 跟 我 一樣 ？ Or have you already graduated, like me? 你們 正在 找 工作 ， 或是 你們 已經 有 工作 了 。 You are looking for a job, or you already have a job. 在 台灣 ， 其實 最近 這 幾年 很 難 找 工作 ， 特別 是 對 年輕人 來說 。 In Taiwan, it has actually been difficult to find a job in recent years, especially for young people. 對 年輕人 來說 很 難 找 工作 ， 而且 ， 大家 都 知道 最近 有 新 冠 肺炎 的 疫情 ， 所以 ， 工作 更 難 找 。 It's hard for young people to find a job, and, as everyone knows, there's been a recent Covid-19 outbreak, so it's even harder to find a job.

那 我們 在 台灣 有 一句 話 、 一句 大家 很 常 說 的話 ， 叫做 「 畢業 就是 失業 」， 畢業 就是 失業 ， 畢業 就是 你 從 學校 離開 嘛 ！ Then we have a saying in Taiwan, a saying that everyone often says, "Graduation is unemployment." Graduation is unemployment. Graduation is when you leave school! 那 失業 就是 你 沒有 工作 ， 你 想 工作 ， 但是 你 找 不到 工作 就是 失業 。 Unemployment is when you don't have a job, you want to work, but you can't find a job. 所以 在 台灣 ， 最近 有 這樣 的 一句 話 ， 就是 「 畢業 就是 失業 」， 聽 起來 很 難過 ， 對 吧 ！ So in Taiwan, there is such a saying recently, "graduation is unemployment", it sounds very sad, right!

所以 這 是 最近 這 幾年 的 問題 ， 最近 這 幾年 的 情況 。 So this is the problem in the last few years, the situation in the last few years.

那 在 台灣 有 一 個 詞 叫做 22K，K 是 英文 字母 的 Ｋ， 什麼 是 22K 呢 ？ There is a word in Taiwan called 22K, K is the English letter K, what is 22K? 22K 的 意思 就是 台灣 的 年輕人 大部分 在 剛 畢業 的 時候 找到 的 第一 份 工作 ， 那 第一 份 工作 的 薪水 ， 第一 份 工作 的 錢 ， 就是 22K，22K 的 意思 就是 兩 萬 兩 千 元 ， 這 是 平均 的 薪水 ， 兩 萬 兩 千 元 台幣 ， 非常 的 低 。 22K means that most of the young people in Taiwan found the first job when they just graduated. The salary of the first job, the money of the first job, is 22K, and 22K means 22,000 yuan. The average salary is NT$22,000, which is very low.

這麼 低 的 薪水 ， 你 要 繳 房租 、 你 要 吃飯 、 買 衣服 、 生活 ， 你 要 開車 、 開車 需要 加油 ... 很 多 很 多 的 錢 ， 你 一 個 月 只有 兩 萬 兩 千 元 的 薪水 ， 根本 不夠 ， 非常 非常 的 少 。 With such a low salary, you have to pay rent, you have to eat, buy clothes, live, you have to drive, you need gas for driving... A lot of money, you only have a salary of 22,000 yuan a month, which is not enough, very very little.

那 在 台灣 的 文章 和 新聞 中 ， 或是 在 ... 年輕 的 朋友 在 聊天 的 時候 ， 這 一 個 詞 ，22K， 常常 出現 ， 你 可以 常常 聽到 大家 說 22K 這個 詞 。 That word, 22K, often appears in Taiwanese articles and news, or when young friends are chatting, and you can often hear people say 22K. 意思 就是 在 講 現在 台灣 的 環境 ， 對 年輕人 很 不好 ， 因為 很 難 找 工作 ， 而且 找 到 了 工作 ， 薪水 也 很 低 ， 只有 22K。 The meaning is that the current environment in Taiwan is not good for young people, because it is difficult to find a job, and when a job is found, the salary is also very low, only 22K.

雖然 年輕人 這樣 想 ， 但是 ， 比較 老 一點 的 人 常常 會 覺得 ：「 我 覺得 年輕人 ， 現在 的 年輕人 ， 很 多 都 是 『 草莓 族 』。」 Although young people think this way, older people often think: "I think young people, young people today, many are 'strawberry people'."

什麼 是 草莓 族 呢 ？ What is the strawberry family? ， 草莓 是 一種 水果 ， 草莓 這種 水果 很 不好 照顧 ， 要 照顧 草莓 這種 水果 ， 很 難 ， 特別 是 在 台灣 ， 所以 草莓 族 的 意思 就是 指 現在 的 年輕人 ， 好像 草莓 一樣 ， 很 難 照顧 ， 常常 遇到 困難 ， 就 說 ：「 這個 工作 太 難 了 ， 這個 工作 太 累 了 ！ , Strawberry is a kind of fruit, strawberry is very difficult to take care of, it is very difficult to take care of strawberry, especially in Taiwan, so the meaning of strawberry family refers to today's young people, like strawberries, it is difficult to take care of, When encountering difficulties, I often say, "This job is too difficult, this job is too tiring! 我 不想 做 了 ， 我 要 放棄 ！ I don't want to do it, I want to give up! 我 不 幹 了 ！ I quit! 我 不要 做 了 ！ I don't do it! 」 這 就是 現在 在 台灣 ， 很 多 老 一點 的 人 ， 會 覺得 台灣 的 年輕人 ， 很 多 人 是 草莓 族 ， 吃 不了 苦 ！ "This is how in Taiwan now, many older people will think that many of the young people in Taiwan are strawberry people and can't bear hardship!

吃 不了 苦 的 意思 就是 沒有 辦法 忍受 困難 和 挫折 ， 一 遇到 不 開心 的 事情 就 說 ：「 太 可怕 了 ， 太 累 了 。 Not being able to endure hardship means that there is no way to endure difficulties and setbacks, and whenever something unpleasant happens, say, "It's too scary, too tired. 我 不要 做 了 ， 我 要 放棄 」 可是 年輕人 當然 覺得 ：「 我 才 不是 什麼 草莓 族 ， 是 你們 這些 老 的 人 把 我們 的 機會 搶走 了 ， 所以 我們 才 找 不到 工作 。」 I'm not going to do it, I'm going to give up." 那 在 你們 的 國家 ， 最 受歡迎 的 工作 是 什麼 呢 ？ So what are the most popular jobs in your country? 就是 大家 覺得 很 好 的 工作 是 什麼 呢 ？ What do you think is a good job? 在 台灣 ， 很 多 人 覺得 最 受歡迎 的 工作 是 醫生 。 In Taiwan, many people feel that the most popular job is doctor. 所以 在 台灣 如果 你 想要 成為 醫生 ， 你 想要 進入 醫學院 ， 醫學院 就是 醫生 在 變成 醫生 之前 ， 讀 的 學校 。 So in Taiwan if you want to become a doctor, you want to go to medical school, which is the school that doctors go to before they become doctors. 因為 醫生 這個 工作 很 熱門 ， 所以 在 台灣 ， 如果 你 想 去 醫學院 書 ， 當 醫生 ， 你 要 非常 非常 非常 的 聰明 ， 你 的 成績 要 非常 非常 非常 的 好 ！ Because the job of being a doctor is very popular, in Taiwan, if you want to go to medical school and become a doctor, you have to be very, very smart, and your grades must be very, very, very good! 那 醫生 就是 台灣 ， 大家 覺得 還 不錯 的 工作 ！ That doctor is Taiwan, everyone thinks it's a good job! 雖然 我 覺得 現在 醫生 也 是 非常 辛苦 ， 非常 累 的 一 個 工作 ， 因為 現在 的 疫情 。 Although I think that doctors are also very hard, very tiring work, because of the current epidemic.

那 還有 一 個 工作 ， 還有 一種 工作 是 最近 大家 覺得 也 不錯 的 工作 ， 叫做 「 鐵飯碗 」。 Then there is another job, and there is another job that everyone thinks is good recently, called "iron rice bowl". 什麼 是 鐵飯碗 呢 ？ What is an iron rice bowl? 鐵 ， 是 一種 金屬 。 Iron is a metal. 鐵飯碗 的 意思 就是 這個 工作 ， 只要 你 進去 了 ， 只要 你 得到 這個 工作 了 ， 你 就 不用 擔心 會 失業 ， 你 可以 永遠 永遠 都 做 個 工作 ， 然後 有 一 份 穩定 的 薪水 。 Iron rice bowl means this job, as long as you get in, as long as you get this job, you don't have to worry about losing your job, you can have a job forever and ever, and then have a stable salary.

白領 族 的 意思 就是 你 的 工作 是 坐 在 辦公室 裡面 的 ， 你 不 需要 運動 ， 你 不 需要 用 到 你 自己 的 身體 來 工作 。 White-collar workers mean that your work is sitting in the office, you don't need to exercise, you don't need to use your own body to work. 那 什麼 是 藍領 族 呢 ？ So what is a blue collar? 藍領 族 跟 白領 族 不 一樣 ， 藍領 族 的 意思 是 你 的 工作 不是 在 舒服 的 辦公室 裡面 ， 你 工作 的 時候 ， 你 會 流汗 ， Blue-collar people are different from white-collar people. Blue-collar people mean that your work is not in a comfortable office. When you work, you will sweat.
