♪ [ li gh t]

Hello and welcome to Makeup Monster Makes!

Today I feeling very Knightly,

so why not make paper towel roll castle to go along with, huh?

Here's what you need.

Two bowls different sizes, a pair of scissors,

some markers and a pencil, some straws or toothpicks,

different size rolls - I have toilet paper rolls

and I have paper towel rolls cut in half -

colourful paper, some sticky tape, and some beautiful tape

that you can use to decorate with. I have silver and red.

And remember to ask grownup for help with scissors

or to help gathering items.

Okay... we make!

First step: we need roofs for castles. Yeah.

You have to draw a circle on this paper.

I put the bowl on here and draw around outside.

And then move the bowl. A perfect circle.

Now, cut it out like this.

♪ ♪

Then take circle and fold in half, like this.

Now open circle and take your scissor and cut on this line.

Now we take half circle and on the straight edge

we roll around like this.

Put a piece of tape on it.

[sighs]

Take tape and lay it down like this.

There. Oh.

Next, make your castle your favourite colour.

You can use markers or you can use paint

or you can wrap it up like I am here.

Put the tape right there.

You decorate the bottom of your castles

with windows or doors like this.

Wow. Looking good.

Now we have to put roofs on castles.

Take roof, set on castle. Very careful, very careful.

[relieved sigh]

Last step. Make flag with your name on it

so everyone knows who this castle belong to.

To make the flag, I took a straw

and put some tape on it like this.

And then I just roll the tape over, stick to itself like that.

I take second piece of tape, different colour,

and I make one here too like this.

I make a triangle cut out. Snip. And snip.

There, look at my flag. Oh, so nice.

Now I put flag in the castle through the hole in the top.

There. Ohh!

Now you have all the parts to play with your very own castle.

You can mix and match. Make it new every single time.

This has been Makeup Monster Makes!

And now... [yawns]... it night time.

[deep breath]

Nighty night. [groans]

[smacks lips]

Nice castle.
