PART 3.1 Caleb Interview — Learn English with Camille

Camille: Well, what are you currently doing?

Caleb: Yeah, that's a great… that's a great question. Um, so, currently, I am searching for a job, um, I'm still looking and trying to figure out what that looks like. Um, and that's always fun because you're just kind of like you live day to day, and you're kind of like, okay, what am I gonna do today? Um, and just not living with the pressures of what society says needs to be, which is like you have to find a job immediately, and all these things, it's like…

Camille: Your worth is in your job.

Caleb: Yeah, exactly, and I'm just like finding that it's not like not, it's in… it's in relationships that you create, it's in the moments that nobody sees. Like what's your integrity, what's your character outside of being around people even? And, yeah, so that's something that I'm currently navigating and trying to figure out, but it's been really cool because I don't feel like I live with that pressure. I'm very much like this is where I'm at and I'm okay embracing it.

Caleb: Um, I'm doing music on the side like, I'm you know, I'm a musician, so I'm just creating and writing music, um, you know, and trying to fill that space, and time with… with being intentional about writing, or just going to play, and just doing things that I love to do. So, whether that's creating music, or going to sit in a coffee shop and read, or meeting new people, even like that's what I've actually found myself doing a lot, it's just meeting new people. Um, whether that's through other friends, or whether that's sitting in a coffee shop, or you know whatever it's, I'm just meeting so many new people, and getting dinner with them, or hanging out with them.

Camille: Yeah, that's cool, there's always cool people in coffee shops.

Caleb: There is.

Camille: That's where me and Calvin met.

Caleb: Yes, I love that.

Camille: Yeah.

Caleb: Yeah.
