我 抬起 头 ，正好 和 周 局长 意味深长 的 眼神 碰上 。

周 局长 嘴角 带 着 微笑 ， 盯 着 我 ， 长 长叹 了 口气 ，“ 你 回去 吧 ， 有事 我会 找 你 的 。 你 如果 发现 什么 新 的 情况 ，或者 有 什么 新 点子 ，就 直接 打电话 告诉 我 吧 。 不过 ，这里 说 清楚 ，在 我 找 你 之前 ，在 我 明确 交代 你 任务 之前 ，无论 你 做 什么 ，都 和 国家安全部 没有 任何 关系 。 如果 你 再 冒充 国家安全部 特工 招摇 的话 ， 外面 的 警察 不会 放过 你 ， 我 也 不会 原谅 你 ， 听 清楚 没有 ？! 你 走 吧 ， 记住 出去 时 抬起 头 ， 不要 一付 垂头丧气 的 样子 ， 哪里 有 一点 国家 安全 特工 的 气质 ？"

除了 父母 家 ，我 已经 没有 地方 可 去 。 我 的 那 件 小 房间 里 仍然 留存 着 郭 青青 或者 阿华 的 气味 ，也许 那 气味 永远 都 无法 完全 消除 。 父母 家 的 气氛 也 并 没有 让 我 稍微 安慰 。 母亲 一直 把 每天 三顿 饭 作为 人生大事 去 计划 去 准备 ，她 最大 的 喜悦 就是 看着 父亲 和 我 狼吞虎咽 地 吃掉 自己 精心 做 的 饭菜 。 我 想 今天 去 帮 妈妈 一起 煮饭 ，坐在 那里 的 父亲 轻轻地 拍拍 旁边 的 椅子 ，示意 我 坐下 。 我 犹豫 了 一下 ，坐 在 父亲 旁边 。

“阿华 走 了 ？"我 点点头 ，父亲 叹 了 口气 。 我 也 不 知道 父亲 为什么 叹气 ，然后 我 立即 警觉 起来 ，父亲 要 想 和 我 深入 交谈 时 往往 就是 从 唉声叹气 开始 的 。 在 中学 时 ，父亲 经常 以 唉声叹气 作为 开场白 ，然后 深入浅出 地 告诉 我 ，如果 我 不 拿出 悬梁刺股 的 劲头 拼命 学习 ，那么 就 只有 “死路一条” 。 因为 我 不会 种田 ，也 没有 生产队 愿意 接收 我 ，按照 国家 政策 ，我 只能 接 父亲 或者 母亲 的 班 ，就是 退休 顶替 ，父亲 是 教师 ，我 不好好 读书 是 没有 办法 顶替 的 ，母亲 是 公社 的 接生婆 ，“也许 你 可以 顶替 你 母亲 当 一名 妇产科 医生 ——” 想想 要 一辈子 面对 张开 的 血淋淋 的 大腿 ，把 一个个 沾满 鲜血 的 小 生命 扯出来 ，我 就 不禁 浑身 颤抖 。就是 在 这种 恐惧 之下 ，我 才 拼命 学习 ，以 优异 成绩 考进 北京大学 国际 政治 系 。 然而 自从 父亲 把 我 送 上 北 去 的 火车 之后 ，记忆 中 父子 两人 的 交谈 越来越 少 ，有 几次 还是 不欢而散 。 那时 我 开始 学着 用 自己的 眼光 看 世界 ，这个 过程 中 ，我 必须 把 父亲 的 影响 从 自己 身上 一点点 消除 。 以前 在 我 心目 中 ， 父亲 不 但是 最 慈祥 最 伟大 ， 也 是 最 勇敢 最 值得 信赖 的 。 那时 只要 牵着 父亲 的 手 ，无论 多 孤独 ，多 黑暗 ，多 可怕 的 地方 我 都 无所畏惧 。 父亲 总是 一言不发 ，牵着 我 的 手 微微 颤抖 ，我 却 无忧无虑 。 可是 随着 年纪 的 增加 ， 我 感觉 到 当时 父亲 牵着 我 的 手 是因为 害怕 在 颤抖 ， 我 也 更 多 记 起 父亲 当时 在 星号 星号 中是 如何 低头 认罪 ， 任 人 宰割 的 。 自从 我 心中 永远 住进 了 张志新 这样 的 英雄 后 ，我 就 已经 不再 就 生活 中的 问题 困惑 与 父亲 交换 意见 。 现在 父亲 突然 问起 阿华 ， 并且 伴随 着 一声 叹息 ， 我 只是 静静地 坐在 那里 ， 侧耳 倾听 着 来自 厨房 的 瓶瓶罐罐 碰撞 的 声音 。

“你 妈 说 ，阿华 总是 要 走 的 ，那 姑娘 简直 好 得 有点 不 真实 。”父亲 说 。

我 苦笑 了 一下 。接着 听到 母亲 在 厨房 哼唱 一首 半个世纪 以前 的小曲 。

“可是 我 告诉 你 妈 ，你 的 问题 不是 人家 真 不 真实 ，”父亲 停 了 一下 ，“你 的 问题 是 你 根本 就 不 想 结婚 。"

从 厨房 传出 了 母亲 的 自言自语 。 我 心中 陡然 升起 一股 气 ，我 想 说 ，也许 我 的 问题 就 出 在 父亲 总 以为 自己 比 我 自己 更加 了解 我 的 问题 吧 。 如果 当初 不 受 威胁 ，现在 当 一名 乡镇 妇科医生 ，也许 并不一定 就 比 现在 过得 差 。 我 忍 着 没有 说 ，只是 盯 了 父亲 一眼 ，想 让 他 快点 把 话 说完 。

“你 不 想 结婚 是 因为 你 害怕 ，你 害怕 什么 ？”父亲 反过来 盯 着 我 。

母亲 自言自语 却 并 不是 胡言乱语 ，她 围绕 主题 ，例如 她 会 把 自己 要 作 的 事先 象 唱歌 一样 说 出来 ，然后 一路 做 下去 。 在 家乡 ，母亲 这 一辈 人 一个个 离开 了 ，所以 母亲 目前 没有 交往 的 人 ，到 了 广州 这个 外乡 ，母亲 不 象 父亲 一样 会 普通话 ，无法 与 人家 交谈 ，不久 后 就 开始 自言自语 。 父亲 告诉 我 ，这样 也好 ，可以 防止 母亲 得 老年痴呆症 。

“我 没有 什么 好 怕 的 。”我 说 。 父亲 又 叹口气 ， 我 有些 烦躁 也 有些 生气 ， 我 反过来 问 父亲 ，“ 我 真的 没有 什么 害怕 的 ， 倒 是 你 一直 害怕 ， 可以 告诉 我 ， 你 那时 为什么 那么 害怕 吗 ？"

“哪 时候 ？"

“ 就是 星号 星号 的 时候 。 那时 ， 你 总是 第一个 坦白 ， 总是 让 造反派 抽打 你 。 我 一直 在 想 ，如果 你 说 我 害怕 什么 ，那 也 应该 是 继承 你 的 吧 。"

父亲 低下 头 ，好象 不想 回忆 ，不过 沉默 一会 后 ，他 抬起 了 头 。 我 看见 父亲 浑浊 的 眼睛 心头 一 紧 。

这时 父亲 缓缓 地 讲 起来 ：“其实 ，我 从 年轻 一直 到 你 出生 哪里 想到 过 死 ？更加 不用说 怕死 了 。 你 是 1965年 出生 的 ，那年 星号 星号 （文革？) 开始 了 。 虽然 说 以前 历次 运动 我 都 被 卷入 ，可是 政治 直觉 让 我 感觉 到 星号 星号 （文革 ？）才 是 空前绝后 的 。 你 妈妈 和 我 两地 分居 ，她 是 赤脚医生 ，住 公社 卫生所 ，需要 经常 出差 ，所以 你们 兄弟 和 姐姐 就 跟着 我 住 在 学校 。 那时 你 姐姐 八岁 ，你 哥哥 五岁 。 我 由于 出身 不好 ，加上 作为 教师 本身 就是 一种 罪 ，所以 经常 被 造反派 欺负 。 我 想 了 ，当时 我 有 一些 选择 的 ，例如 我 可以 加入 一派 投身 到 火热 的 文革 斗争 中 。 在 我们 那个 小 地方 ，我 是 为数不多 的 几个 读完 《毛选》 的 知识分子 ，也 可能 是 少有 的 几个 真正 理解 文革 精神 的 人 吧 。 加上 我 身体 强壮 ，块头 大 ，只要 我 选 对 派别 ，我 还是 可以 大展 身手 的 。 不过 那样 就 有 两个 问题 需要 考虑 ，一是 我 得 打人 ，甚至 杀人 。 就算 可以 避免 用 棍棒 杀人 ， 我 的 笔 也 一定 会致 人于 死地 的 ； 还有 一个 结果 就是 ， 万一 我 选择 的 造反派 输 了 ， 那 我 就 有 可能 被 人家 打死 。 我 自己 倒 也 无所谓 ，可是 如果 我 被 打死 ，或者 坐牢 了 ，你们 兄弟俩 和 姐姐 会 怎么样 呢 ？ 於是 我 选择 保持 中立 ，不 加入 任何 一派 。 现在 说 起来 好象 容易 ，可是 在 那个 年头 要 保持 中立 也 是 不容许 的 呀 。 於是 今天 这个 造反派 赢 了 ，把 我 拉去 批斗 一番 ，明天 那个 造反派 占领 了 学校 ，又 把 我 推上 台 批判 。 有时 他们 折磨 我 ，让 我 跪 洗衣板 ，有时 让 我 跪 在 碎玻璃 上 。 我 也 是 人 啊 ，天生 火气 大 ，不 知道 有 多少 次 ，我 都 暗暗 下决心 ，‘老子 拼 了 ，和 你们 同归于尽 '，我 块头 比 他们 大 ，打死 一个 没有 问题 ，多 掐死 一个 老子 还 赚 一个 。"

我 听 得 目瞪口呆 ，父亲 边 讲 边 伸出 瘦骨嶙峋 的 手 ，作势 掐着 造反派 脖子 的 样子 ，看着 父亲 松弛 的 皮肤 开始 抽紧 ，我 的 心里 一阵 轻松 。

“ 那时 每次 被 造反派 抓 去 批斗 ， 我 都 不 知道 晚上 是否 还 可以 平安 回来 ， 每次 出门时 ， 我 都 把 你 的 姐姐 叫 过来 ， 交代 她 ， 如果 爸爸 晚上 不 回来 的话 ， 明天 一早 ， 你 就 带 着 弟弟 们 一路 要饭 去 找 你 妈妈 。 我 写下 纸条 ， 放在 你们 每个 人 的 口袋 里 ， 上面 写 上 求 好心人 帮帮忙 ， 为 孩子 指 指路 ， 给 一口 饭 吃 的 字样 。 你 姐姐 很 懂事 的 样子 ，把 纸条 收好 ，可是 你 ，那时 才 三岁 ，不 把 我 放 在 你 口袋 的 纸条 当回事 ，不是 拿 出来 擤 鼻涕 ，就是 尿湿 ——”

讲 到 这里 ，父亲 脸上 的 皱纹 舒展 开来 ，笑了起来 ,一笑 ，眼泪 就 出来 了 。 母亲 还 在 厨房 自言自语 ，我 心里 一阵 酸楚 。

“我 是 明白人 ，我 知道 我 不能 死 ，我 一死 ，我 的 孩子 怎么办 ？ 我 看到 很多 和 我 一样 的 知识分子 ，他们 为了 坚持 原则 ，坚持 共产党 主义 理想 ，坚持 信念 ，又 或者 没有 控制 好 自己的 脾气 ，顶撞 了 造反派 ，得罪 了 红卫兵 ，结果 不是 被 人 打死 ，就是 打残 ； 他们 死 了 ，倒是 杀身成仁 了 ，他们 眼睛 一闭 ，苦难 就 结束 了 ，可是 他们 的 孩子 呢 ？ 苦难 还 刚刚 开始 呀 ，那些 父母 被 关进 监狱 或者 受到 非人 折磨 的 父母 的 子女 在 学校 也 受尽 欺凌 ，有 的 无法 忍受 甚至 自杀 了 ，幸存 下来 的 也 基本上 被 剥夺 了 受 教育 的 权力 。 我 不是 没有 看到 这个 残酷 的 现实 呀 。 好 在 经过 解放 后 这么 多年 风风雨雨 的 政治 斗争 的 磨炼 ，我 已经 成熟 到 抛弃 所有 被 人 灌输 的 理想 了 ，如果 说 我 还 剩下 有 一个 理想 的话 ，那 就是 你们 几个 孩子 ，你们 不 但是 我 的 理想 ，也 是 我 的 希望 ，我 的 一切 。"

我 细细 回味 着 父亲 的话 ，原来 父亲 也 有 理想 ，只是 他 的 理想 就是 我 。

“只要 可以 把 我 的 孩子 平平安安 带大 ，让 我 干什么 都 可以 ！ 我 当时 就是 下 了 这样 的 决心 。 於是 在 整个 中 ，我 打 不 还手 ，骂 不 还口 。 让 我 认罪 ，我 就 低头 ，让 我 反省 ，我 就 写 检讨 。 在 最 危险 的 时候 ，我 怕 那些 造反派 失去 耐心 ，我 不得不 让 你姐姐 带着 你们 一起 坐在 会场 最 前排 ，观看 我 在 台上 低着头 挂着 牌子 挨批斗 。 那时 造反派 好 几次 在 申讨 我 的 时候 激动不已 ， 想 向 我 下毒手 ， 可是 毕竟 人心 肉 做 的 ， 当 他们 看到 台下 你 姐姐 带 着 只有 三岁 的 你 坐在 那里 时 ， 就 避重就轻 ， 不 踢 我 的 肝脏 脾脏 ， 而 只是 狠狠 地 刮 我 耳括 子 ， 象 击拳袋 一样 打 我 的 腰 。 不过 你 知道 ，我 虽然 被 打 得 昏头昏脑 ，有时 还 满身是血 ，可是 我 只要 眼角 瞟 到 台下 的 你们 兄弟 三人 ，我 就 咬紧 牙 勉强 自己 站 起来 ，让 他们 接着 打 ，你 爸爸 那时 就是 因为 有 你们 才 可以 一次次 熬过来 。 我 心里 明白 ，如果 我 熬不过 来 ，我 的 孩子 ，我 的 理想 就 完 了 ，所以 ，你 看 ，看看 现在 的 你们 兄弟俩 和 你 的 姐姐 ，不但 都 读 了 书 ，还有 好 工作 ，我 得 说 ，那些 造反派 从来 就 没有 击倒 过 我 。"

父亲 露出 胜利 的 笑容 ，我 心里 难受 得 要命 。 我 假装 揉 眼睛 强忍 着 眼泪 ，原来 在 我 心中 如此 怕死 的 父亲 ，其实 是 这个 世界 上 最 勇敢 的 父亲 。

“只是 那么 多年 ，我 总是 怕 这 怕 那 ，结果 害怕 本身 几乎 成 了 我 的 习惯 甚至 性格 。 ” 父亲 开朗 地说 ，“ 你 妈 上次 还 数落 我 ，‘ 看 你 这个 老不死 的 ， 一辈子 东 怕 西 怕 ， 都 怕 习惯 了 '， 哈哈 ， 我 想 也 是 ， 上次 回 湖北 ， 见到 一个 姓 朱 的 瘸子 ， 我 一 开始 心里 竟然 有些 害怕 呢 ， 他 是 文革 中 打人 最 积极 的 造反派 ， 后来 又 被 别的 造反派 把 他 的 腿 打 瘸 了 。 现在 听说 他 出 监狱 后 所在 的 厂 也 倒闭 了 ，加上 他 的 儿子 都 不成 气候 ，三天两头 回来 逼 他 要 钱 ，他 生活 很 艰难 ，最近 说 要 去 申请 到 外地 的 乞讨 证 去 自谋 生路 ，因为 他 那条 瘸腿 会 引起 一些 同情 的 。 这样 一个 人 ，我 第一眼 见到 还是 条件反射 的 有些 怕 。"

父亲 竟然 象 小孩子 一样 格格 地 笑 起来 。 从 厨房 传 出来 的 母亲 的 自言自语 中 我 知道 饭菜 准备 的 差不多 了 。

“还是 你 妈妈 给 我 提醒 ，她 说 ，‘老杨 ，你 这个 老糊涂 ，你 怕 什么 ？ '我 这 才 恍然大悟 ，对 呀 ，我 的 孩子 都 长大 了 ，都 过得 好好 的 ，我 没有 什么 好 怕 了 。"

“爸爸 ，”我 好奇 地 问 ，“虽然 我们 就是 你 的 理想 ，可是 你 的 理想 实现 没有 ？“

父亲 先是 不解 的 看着 我 ， 随后 笑 了 一下 ：“ 实现 啦 ， 实现 啦 ， 就是 那 一天 ， 对 ，1983 年 7 月 23 日 ， 公社 送来 你 大学 录取 通知书 的 那 一天 。 我 当时 正在 做饭 ，传来 敲锣打鼓 的 声音 ，声音 越来越 大 ，不过 我 听不见 ，我 只 听得见 自己 的 心跳声 。 先是 有 小孩子 跑过来 ， 边 跑 边 喊 ，‘ 杨 老师 ， 公社 给 你 送 喜报 啦 ， 你们 家 杨子 考上 北京大学 啦 '， 我 让 自己 先 冷静下来 ， 想 ， 还是 先 熄掉 火 吧 ， 万一 一会 激动 起来 忘记 熄灭 的话 饭会 煮 坏 的 ， 后来 那 一天 ， 我 一 狠心 ， 煎 了 三个 荷包蛋 ， 是 你 最 喜欢 吃 的 ！”

我 也 清清楚楚 记得 那 一天 ，饭 没有 煮 坏 ，父亲 给 我 多 煎 了 两个 荷包蛋 ，他 用 筷子 给 我 夹 鸡蛋 时 颤抖 的 手 和 激动 的 样子 历历在目 。 虽然 不 知道 出於 什么 原因 ，我 不 愿意 想起 那些 事 ，但 在 我 内心深处 ，我 今后 所作 的一切 都 很大程度上 是 为 父亲 而作 的，不让父亲失望，让父亲再次快乐，让父亲有个快乐的晚年成为我人生重要的目标。

这个 时候 ，我 突然 想起 了 和 周 局长 关于 致命 弱点 的 对话 ，以及 周 局长 多次 谈到 我 的 致命 弱点 时 那 神秘 得意 的 样子 ，还有 周 局长 “威胁 ”我 ，如果 我 再 乱来 ，他 就 会 让 我 父亲 把 我 亲自 领回去 。 我 算是 明白 了 ，周 局长 一直 知道 我 心中 最大 的 害怕 ，让 父亲 失望 ，让 父亲 希望 破灭 就是 我 最最 不愿意 的 ，只有 用 这个 方式 威胁 我 ，才 会 让我 收敛 。 如果 当时 公安局 两位 审问 我 的 同 以 我 父亲 作 威胁 的话 ，例如 我 再 不 坦白 他们 就 告诉 我 父亲 我 是 杀人犯 ，我 和 妓女 准备 结婚 什么 的 ，那 我 八成 先 坦白 了 。 想到 这里 ，我 不觉 暗暗 笑 出声 来 。

“爸爸 ，既然 你 的 理想 在 我 拿到 高考 录取 通知书 时 就 实现 了 ，那么 ，我 真 希望 你 今后 有 自己的 快乐 ，不再 以 子女 的一切 为 重 ——”

父亲 突然 情绪 有些 低落 ，喃喃地 说 ：“理想 都 实现 了 ，我 和 你 妈 现在 是 没有 理想 的人 ，没有 理想 ，没有 希望 ，我们 其实 并不 怕 死 ，我们 只是 想 多 享受 一些 这样 平静 幸福 的 晚年生活 。“

“我 理解 ！”我 打断 父亲 的话 ，我 本来 想 说 “我 理解 了 ”，说 出来 却是 “我 理解 ”， 其实 父亲 今天 不是 第一次 告诉 我 他 的 故事 ，只是 也许 连 心理学家 都 并不 清楚 从 懂事 开始 就 看着 父亲 被 批斗 的 孩子 的 心理 到底 怎么回事 。 我 想 可能 正是 在 潜意识 里 知道 父亲 为了 孩子 做出 了 多么 大 的 牺牲 和 忍辱负重 ， 使得 我 长大 后 对於 结婚 生 孩子 有些 害怕 。 我 不 知道 自己 是否 可以 象 父亲 那样 保护 自己 的 孩子 。 虽然 说 父亲 那个 时代 的 狂热 和 造反派 一样 都 成为 历史 不再 是 公害 ，可是 这个 世界 还是 充满 了 危险 ，核子武器 ，化学武器 不说 ，sars ，艾滋病 ，禽流感 这些 就 够 一个 作 父母亲 的 操心 不尽 ，加上 失业 失学 ，暴力 色情 ，我 自己 算是 可以 勉强 招架 活着 ，可是 我 真是 没有 信心 如何 把 孩子 带好 。 也许 这 就是 父亲 所说 的 ，我 是 因为 害怕 才 不 结婚 吧 。 父亲 毕竟 是 父亲 ，你 可以 在 知识 上 ，见识 上 ，职位 上 等 所有 的 事情 上 超过 你自己 的 父亲 ，可是 在 有 一点 上 ，你 却 永远 比不上 你 的 父亲 ，那 就 是 在 对 你自己 的 认识 上 ，你 无法 超过 你 的 父亲 。

更加 让 我 震惊 的 是 ，父亲 对 我 的 爱 ，为 我们 子女 所 做 的 牺牲 已经 刻骨铭心 的 影响 了 我 ，以至 我 目前 对 父母 的 爱 成为 我 生活 的 目标 。 我 干 一切 都 不愿 伤害 父母 ，干 一切 也 都 是 为了 让 父母 为 我 骄傲 。 但是 正 因为 这些 ，也 使得 我 在 生活 和 工作 中 处处 谨小慎微 ，不敢 冒险 ，因为 我 的 任何 “失败 ”都 会 给 七十多岁 的 老人 造成 致命 的 打击 。

“ 我 和 你 妈 的 理想 就是 你们 ， 你们 兄弟姐妹 就是 我们 的 梦 ， 现在 你们 都 长大 了 ， 有 了 自己 的 生活 和 理想 ， 你们 如果 想 为 自己 的 理想 而 拼搏 ， 那 是 你们 的 事 。 就象 当年 我们 会 为了 你们 做 任何 事情 一样 ，我们 同样 理解 你们 为 你们 的 理想 和 梦 做 什么 事 。 你们 已经 不再 是 我们 的 梦 ，我 和 你 妈妈 已经 没有 梦想 了 ，我们 只是 想 多 活 几年 ，你 该 去 干什么 就 去 干什么 吧 。 不过 ，如果 能 ，是否 可以 把 阿华 带 回来 给 我们 看看 ，我 和 你 妈妈 都 喜欢 她 ，也 想 你们 在 一起 。就算 我们 最后 一个 愿望 吧 ！”

父亲 好象 自言自语 一样 ，我 却 认真 回味 着 每 一句 话 。 我 想 ，的确 ，父母 是 幸福 的 ，他们 实现 了 自己 的 理想 。 现在 也许 是 我 该 走 自己 的 路 ，实现 我 自己的 理想 的 时候 ，并且 我要 为 阿华 ，也就是 郭 青青 洗脱 冤屈 。 我 心里 开始 盘算 大 计划 。
