在 大城市 的 生活费 大概 Cost of living in big cities

人民币 10 万多

私立学校 的 学费 大概 每年 Private school tuition fees are approximately per year

35 40 万左右

公立学校 可能 便宜 点 就是 30 万左右 Public schools may be cheaper at around 300,000

研究生 也 有 不同 的 项目 Graduate students also have different programs

有的是 一年 半 有的是 一年 Some are a year and a half, some are a year

有的是 两年 所以 这样 算下来 Some are two years, so it counts like this

可能 如果 你 读 两年 的话 Maybe if you study for two years

就是 七八十万 能够 读 下来 700,000 to 800,000 can read it

绩点 的话 非常简单

大家 都 知道 是 大 一 大二 甚至 大三 Everyone knows it's a sophomore, sophomore or even a junior.

每门 课 的 长期 的 积累 Long-term accumulation of each course

文书 那些 其实 不用 操心 的 太早 It's too early to worry about the documents

可以 考完 所有 的 考试 Pass all exams

然后 在 你 申请 之前 前 and before you apply

一两个 月 内 准备 好 be ready in a month or two

要考 gmat, 理工科 需要 GRE 的 成绩

不同 的 学校 要求 different school requirements

城市 是 非常 重要 的 Cities are very important

所以 看 你 专业 的 性质 So it depends on the nature of your profession

就 硅谷 那边 Just over there in Silicon Valley

西雅图 纽约 波士顿 Seattle New York Boston

如果 你 是 金融 if you are financial

专业 的话 professional words

就 最好 是 纽约 那边 preferably New York

如果 不在乎 找 工作 的 同学 Students who don't care about finding a job

你 可以 选择 专业 排名 靠 前 的 学校 You can choose a school with a top-ranked major

我 当时 申请 是 没有 找 中介 的 I did not apply for an agent at the time.

我 是 自己 DIY 的 I DIY it myself

申请 DIY 的 好处 就是 它 超级 The great thing about applying DIY is that it's super

锻炼 你 的 自己 的 能力 exercise your own abilities

就 包括 在 各个 论坛 搜集 各种 资料 Including collecting various information in various forums

看 全英文 的 学校 的 网站 介绍 Look at the website introduction of the school in all English

然后 修改 自己 的 简历 文书 Then edit your resume

在 学校 截止 日期 之前 before the school deadline

一定 要 把 他们 要求 的 资料 寄过去 Be sure to send the information they ask for

还要 跟 学校 沟通 Communicate with the school

如果 是 选择 找 If you choose to find

中介 的话 intermediary words

有些 中介 就 一个 人

他 对 你 不 一定 会 非常 上 心

肯定 是 没有 你 自己 去 弄 这件 事上 心 的 I'm sure you didn't care about doing it yourself.

所以 如果 你 找 中介 的话 So if you use an intermediary

一定 记得 要 自己 盯 着 他们 的 进度 Just remember to keep an eye on their progress

反正 我 知道 有 很多 被 中介 耽误 的 例子 Anyway, I know there are many examples of being delayed by intermediaries
