W końcu w lewo poszły tamte dwie nastolatki, które szukały grobu kogoś innego.

Posiadanie planu cmentarza okazało się wprawdzie pomocne, ale i tak na miejsce trafili dopiero po dobrym kwadransie błądzenia. Kamila miała wrażenie, że zatoczyli koło. Ważne jednak, że wreszcie znaleźli właściwie miejsce. Jednak radość z faktu, że wreszcie dotarli, trwała krótko. Pierwszą rzeczą, która rzuciła im się w oczy oprócz napisu „Wojciech Szymański żył lat 18. Zginął śmiercią tragiczną”, był wielki bukiet białych kalii i dwa znicze w kształcie serca.
