この 前 、超 ピンチ だった の は 、先生 が 忙しかった だ か 忘れていた だ か で 、

授業 で 使う プリント が 事前 に メール で もらえ なかった んです よ 。

だから 予習 が でき ず 、ぶっつけ 授業 だった んです が 、全然 わからない 〜って なりました 。 わかって る はずの 単語 も 、いざ 急に 当てられて 答えるって なる と 、出て こない んです よね 〜 。 ま 、まず そんな 感じ で 最近 スペイン 語 の クラス を オンライン で 受けてる んです が 、

これ が ね 所 謂 きっかけ と いう か 、

オンライン 一緒に 受けて いる 人 たち 、みんな 私 より も できる し 、

クラスメイト 中 の 1 人 に 比較的 若い 女 の 人 、私 と 同じ 位 か 、もしかすると もう 少し 若い かも 。

が いる んです けど 、

すごく できる の 。 読む の も すごく 上手 だ し 、語彙 力 も ある し 。

こんな 事 いったら あれ です けど 、もともと 通って いた 時 の クラス は 平日 の 昼間 の クラス だった ので 、

リタイア した シニア の お じいちゃん おばあ ちゃん が 多くて 、（ お じいちゃん おばあ ちゃんって いう と 年寄り に 聞こえる けど 、 みんな ピンピン してます けど ね 。 でも 、まあ とても 年配 の 方 が 多くて 、それ は それ で 全然 たのしい んだ けど 、

でも やっぱり 歳 の 近い 人 で 目標 と なる ような 人 を 見る と 、

あー 、私 も ああ なりたい 、頑張ろう って 思う と いう か 。 ほら 、私 本当に 影響 さ れ やすい んで 。

それ で 、 もっと 勉強 しよ ーって 思い が 出て きて 、 で 、 急に 難しい 事 やって も 続か ない ので 、 楽しく 何 か スペイン 語 に 触れようって 思って 、と なると 、私 の 場合 もう 一 択 。 コナン だ 。 と 思い まして 。

そう 、私 名 探偵 コナン 好き で 同じ エピソード 何度 も 観てる 程 なんです が 、

うまい 具合 に You Tube とか に スペイン 語 オーディオ の コナン が 転がって ない か な ー なんて 思って 観た んです けど 、

そんな 簡単 に ある はず も なく 、

コナン を スペイン 語 で 観る 作戦 は 早々 と 終わった んです けど 、

その 流れ で 、 YouTube 色々 観て たら 、

台湾 の ドラマ が スペイン 語 オーディオ であって 、なんとなく ちらっと 1 話 目 観たら なんか 行ける かも ！ って なった んです 。

これ まで も 、スペイン 語 の クラス でも メキシコ と か の ドラマ を 勉強 の ため に 見る と いいって 先生 とかも 言ってて 、メキシコって 日本 で 言う 昼 ドラ みたいな ソープ ・オペラって いうんですが 、そういう のが あって 、よく うち の 周り の コインランドリー とかで 流れてたり するんですけど 、 あんまり 難しい ドラマ と か だ と 理解 できない から 、そい う ソープ ・オペラ を 見る と 良い ！ って ね 、勧めて もらった こと が あって 観た こと も あった んです が 、

なんか 話 が 入って こなくて 、多分 文化 が 全然 ちがう から か 、何 なの か 、理由 は わから ない んです が 、

でも 、その 台湾 の ドラマ は なんか 理解 できた んです よ 。

その 台湾 の ドラマ も 、昼 ドラ さながら の 、もう ベッタベター な 話 で 、1 話 目 観た だけ で 、こりゃ ベター な 展開 だろう なって わかっちゃう レベル の ベタ さ だった んです が 、

あの ー 、 頑張って 貯金 を して いる お 金 あまりない OL が 、 会社 の 社長 の 息子 と ヒョン な こと から 出会って 、

その 息子 は 勉強 の ため に その 会社 で 社長 の 息子 って こと は 伏せて 働き 始めて 、配属 さ れた 部署 が その 主人公 の OL が いる ところ で 、 「 あー ！ あの 時 の ー ！ あんた こんな ところ で 何 やって ん の よ ー ！ 」 みたいな 。

で 、ちょっと きれいな 花形 部署 の ライバル 出現 ！ みたいな 。

多分 そい う 展開 が 読める から なんとなく 理解 できた の も ある し 、

台湾 って 日本 と 似て る から 、動作 と か 考え方 と か 、会社 の 上下関係 と か ね 。 だから 見慣れて る 感 も あって 良かった の か と 思います 。 最初 台湾 の ドラマ って 知ら なくて 、ドラマ 内 で 出て くる 看板 とか 書類 の 文字 とか 中国語 だった んです けど 、 服装 と かね 様子 で 、あ 、これ 台湾 の やつ だって わかって 、

ちょうど 今 仲 いい 友達 も 台湾 人 だ し 、話題 の 一 つ に いっちょ 観て みる かって なりました 。 もちろん 、キャプション は 必須 で 、ただ リスニング して いる だけ じゃ 何も まだ 理解 できない レベル です けど 、

でも 文字 を 追って 観てる と 、

あ 、この 単語 知ってる 、あ 、この フレーズ 聞いた こと ある ！ って いう の が たくさん 出て きて 、

で 不思議な の は 、私 普段 は 全然 恋愛 ドラマ とか ラブ コメ 系 の ドラマって 好み じゃ なくて 見 ない んです けど 、ホント 不思議 と 見続ける こと が できて 、料理 しながら とか 、寝る 前 とか 、 基本 1 話 を 2 回 づつ くらい 見て 、合計 23 話 くらい あった の か な 、2 週間 かからない くらい で 観 終えました 。 ただ ボーッ と 観てる 事 も あれば 、わからない 単語 を 調べ ながら ノート に 書き ながら 観てた りも して 、

ガッツリ 勉強 するって いう 温度 で は ないで す が 、 せっかく なら ちょっと語彙 上げて いきたい な ー的 な 。 で ね 、 その ドラマ の すごく 良い の は 、 本当に シンプルな ベターな 展開 で 、

シーン も オフィス 、家 、が ほとんど で 、

どういう こと か と いう と 、 同じ ような 単語 や フレーズ が めっちゃ 繰り返さ れる ん です よ 。 だから 少しずつ で は ある んです けど 、覚える こと が できて 、

覚えられ なくて も 、 あ 、 聞いた こと ある ー みたいな 。 その 感覚 って とって も 大事 で 、ほんとに 何も わから ない と 雑音 に なっちゃう んです よ 。 英語 でも その 経験 あります し 、今 でも 難しい 内容 の 英語 とか 聞く と 意識 が 遠のいて 、もはや 雑音って なっちゃう んです が 、スペイン語 とか 、基礎 が ない 言語 は ホントに 最初 雑音 で 。 その 雑音 から 一 歩 前進 した 感 が 出てきた の が 、とても 嬉しかった です 。

そう 、この 前 調子 に 乗って ネットフリックス で デスノート を スペイン語 で 見よう と したんです が 、

速攻 で ギブアップ しました 。 喋る の 早い し 、内容 ムズカシイ し で 。

いかに その 偶然 見つけた 台湾 ドラマ が 奇跡的な 発見 だった かって いう こと が わかりました 。 で ね 、1 週間 ちょっと 前 くらい かな 、

その 時 、台湾 ドラマ まだ 観て いる 途中 だった んです けど 、

あの です ね 、ついに 、

アハモーメント という か 、なんか ね 、一段 登った 感覚 を 得た んです 。

ぜんっぜん まだまだ です よ 。 知って る 単語 まだまだ 全然 少ない し 、グーグル 先生 命 だ し 、

初 見 の 文章 とか 簡単 で も つっかかり ながら しか 読め ない けど 、

あの ね 、文法 と か 、仕組み と か 、すっと 入って きた と いう か 、なんか 、あ 、こういう こと か 。 って こと は 、こっち の 文章 は こう なる って こと ？ は ああ 、そう か 、なるほど 。

みたいな 。

最初に 話しました が 、最初 ゼロ から ちょっと 勉強 しよう かなって 動画 観たり テキスト 開いたり した 時 は 、情報 量 が 多 すぎて 、 一応 理解 しよう と 頑張る けど 、全然 頭 に 入って こない 状態 だった んです よ 。

で 、スペイン 語 クラス に 通い 初めて 最初の 方 も そう 。

全然 覚えられ なくて 、動詞 が 主語 に よって 変形 して くの も 、一応 ルール が ある んです けど 、そういう の も 全然 入って こなかった し 。 でも 急に ある 日 、授業 の プリント とか 観て 、

あ 、また この 形 出て きた 。 あ 、この 文法 こう だ から こう なってる んだ 。

みたいな 、ちょっと わかる ように なって きた んです よ 。

なんか さ 、一旦 わかって くる と 、

じゃあ 、これ は なんで ？ これ は どういう こと ？ みたいな 感じ で 、

自分 から 色々 調べちゃったり して 。 なんか もう ね 、明らかに 頭 の 中 が 整理 されて きた 感覚 が あって 。 ただ 丸 暗記 だった 、情報 を ど ばーっと 詰め込もう と していた 頭 の 中 に 、整理 する ため の ボックス とか ツール とか 、この 場合 必要な 基本的な 文法 とか 語彙 とか なのかな 、 が 揃って きて 、

整理 でき 始めて きたって 感じ です 。 すごく ない ？

いや 、この 一 段階 、すごい の よ 。

すごい んです よ 。 私 の 中 で 。

今 まで は ちょっと 、文法 の こと とか 観て ても 、

どうせ 覚えられ ない し 、全然 頭 に 入って こない し 、意味 の ない 時間 だった んです よ 。 でも ね 、今 は 、あ 、そう なの かって なる の 。

ずっと 前 から 聞いてる スペイン語 ビギナー 基礎 フレーズ の 30分 の 音声 も 、

今 まで は 丸 暗記 して た んです けど 、

今 改めて 聞く と 、あ 、これ は 主語 が 私 だ から こう なる んだ 、

これ は 過去 形 だ から こう なってる んだ とかって 、

構造 を 理解 できる の 。

ちょっと 完全に 一 皮 むけた んです よ 。

最初 何 が なんだか わから なくて 、ちょっと 苦痛 で さえ も あった けど 、

じっと 耐えて 続けて いる と 、

こういう こと が ある んです よ ね 。

耐え 続けてって ほど 私 の 場合 は やって ないで す けど 。 で 、更に スペイン 語 の ために はじめた の は 、

Spanish 101 podcastって いう ポッドキャスト を 聞き 始めました 。 これ も 、一番 ビギナー 向け の エピソード を 聞いて いる だけ なんです が 、

本当に 基本 的な こと を 英語 と スペイン語 で 説明 している やつで 、

前 だったら 、

こういう こと を 説明 されて るって いう 、その トピック は わかって も 、単語 とか 文法 自体 は 全然 頭 に 残ら ず 、聞いて ても 楽しく ない 感じ だった んです が 、 この 前 聞いて みたら 、

ほう 、そういう 言い方 も ある の か 、なるほど 、これ は こう か 。

って 感じる こと が できて 、もう 嬉しくて 。

こりゃ あね 、ちょっと 波 に 乗ってる 感じ です ね 。

この 流れ を 大切に 、ちょっと 基礎 スペイン 語 を 習得 して いきたい な と 思って まして 。 タイミング よく ね 、英語 の ESL の クラスメイト の メキシコ人 の GINA と この前 連絡先 を 交換 したんです よ 。

前回 の 授業 が 今 学期 最後 の 授業 で 、

そ したら Gina が keep in touch したい から 連絡先 教えて ！ って 言って きて くれて 。

で 、私 が スペイン 語 勉強中 の こと 知ってる から 、スペイン 語 で テキスト して くれて 、

友達 と の やりとり と なる と 、

授業 に 出てくる 例文 とか お話 とか とは また 別で 、よく 使われる フレーズ とかも 違う から 、

スペイン 語 で 気軽に 連絡 できる の も 嬉しい な ーって 思ってます 。 Ginaと やり取り はじめて 、

そう そう 、私 が 話せる 様に なりたい のは 、こういう 友達 とか と の 日常 の ちょっと した 会話 を スペイン語 で できる ように なりたい んだ ！ って 改めて 思って 、

だから ね 、 あの ー 、 language exchange アプリって いう の ？ に 登録 して 、

スペイン 語 ネイティブ の 人 で 日本 語 を 勉強 したい 人 と テキスト の やり取り も はじめました 。 まだ 始めた ばっかりで 、そんなに たくさん やり取り して いない んです けど 、やっぱ 一人 で は なくて 何人 か と やり取り する と 、同じ ような 表現 が 出てきて 、あ 、また 出てきたって なって 覚える こと が できる 気 が します 。 なんか 調子 に のって 急に 色々な もの に 手 を 出して いる ので 、

こんなに 熱く語って た の に 疲れちゃって 続か ない 〜 と かってなる かも です けど 、 いやで も 、 あの ー 、 やっぱ わかった の は 、 英語 の 勉強 の 話 でも この ポッドキャスト で 何 回 か 話してる と 思う ん です が 、 授業 だけ 、と か 、英語 で スペイン語 で テレビ を 観る だけ と か 、

その 1 個 の 方法 だけ で 勉強 する んじゃ なくて 、

複数 の 情報 元 から インプット する って とても 効果的 だ なって 、改めて 思いました 。 例えば 授業 である 単語 を 習って 、

その 時 は ふーん くらい に 思って て も 、家 で 観てた ドラマ で 同じ 単語 が 出てきて 、

あー ーーーーー

これ 今日 やった 単語 だ ！ って なって 、

その後 に 読んで た ネット ニュース に も また 同じ 単語 が 出て きて 、

え 、また 出て きた 。

めっちゃ よく 使われて る 単語 や ん ！ って なって 覚える って いう 。 不思議な こと に 、授業 で その 単語 を やる 前 から も 、きっと 何度 も 目 に している 、耳 に している 単語 だった と 思う んです けど 、

授業 中 に やったって いう 、の が スイッチ と なって 、急に 目 に 留まる ように 、耳 に 入ってくる ように なる んです よね 。 何 が スイッチ に なる か わから ない ので 、

やはり 、日頃 から バラエティ に 飛んだ ソース からの インプット を ね 心がけたい です ね 。 いや ー 、 私 の スペイン語 ブーム 、 ちょっと 少し 話せる よう に なる まで 続く と いい な ー 。

ペラペラ なんて 贅沢な こと は 言わ ない ので 、

英語 で いう と 中学 レベル くらい で いい ので 、基本 を 、

英語 が 話せ ない メキシコ 人 と コミュニケーション が 取れる くらい まで 、

なんとか 習得 したい な ー 。 あの リスナー さん の 中 に は 日本語 を 勉強 されている 方 も 多い んです が 、日本人 以外 に とって 日本語 も ほんと ゼロ から 基礎 ゼロ から の スタート です よね 。

この ポッドキャスト を それなりに 理解 してる って こと は 、けっこう すごい です よね 。 どう やって そこ まで 来た んだろう 。

ほんとに 、英語 を 勉強 する とは ちょっと 違う んです よね 。

基礎 知識 が ない 言語 を 勉強 する って 。 あの ー 、 言語 勉強 の 先輩 方 、 どうぞ 私 に アドバイス を くださ い ー 。

皆さん メッセージ お 待ち して います 。 と まあ 、長々 話して きました が 、あくまでも 私 の 優先 順位 としては 英語 です が 、 スペイン 語 に 関して は 、全部 英語 で 勉強 を して います 。 授業 は もちろん 英語 です し 、

辞書 も スペイン 語 ⇔英語 の 辞書 を 使って て 、文法 とか ルール の 解説 も 英語 の サイト を 見て います 。 これ が ね 、英語 の 勉強 に も なる んです よ 。

なんてったって 、辞書 で 調べて も 、出てきた 英語 が わからない とか ある から ね 。 そんな こと 言ったら 、英語 の 単語 を 日本語 に 辞書 で 訳して も 、

その 日本語 すら なんか 難しくて 理解 でき ない とか 私 時々 ある から なー 。

でも 、とても 良い です 。

言語 だけ に 限らず 、英語 で 何か を 習う 、勉強する って 、とっても 英語力 アップ に 役立つ と 思って います 。 あと は その language exchange の アプリ と か でも

スペイン 語 と 日本 語 だけ だ と お互い 初心者 過ぎて 話 が 進まない こと も あって 、

そういう 時 は 共通語 の 英語 で 説明 付けたり も して いたり とか 、

聞いて る ポッドキャスト も 英語 スペイン 語 で の 解説 だ し 、

スペイン 語 を やって いる とき も 英語 を 使う 頻度 が 多くて 、英語 に も 触れられて います 。
