こっち は その グーグルマップ で 見た 近く の ロックスミス に 電話 している と 思っている ので 、

普通に 「どこ どこ ストリート 沿い の CVS の 駐車場 です 」って 伝えた んです けど 、 その 伝え 方 で は 伝わら なくて 、どこ の 州 の どの 街 です か ？ 的な 住所 を 聞かれて 、 その 時点 で 、お 、これ は あの 動画 で 見た 一箇所 で 電話 を 一元 管理 している あの タイプ だ ！ と なって 、

その 時 旦那さん が 電話 してた んです けど 、

「すぐ 近く の ロックスミス に 電話 している はず なんだ けど 、この 電話 は どこ に つながってる んですか ？ 」って 質問 を したら 「 いや ー 、 それ を 答える 権限 は 与えられて い なくて 、 ちょっと 上司 に 報告 しない と … ブツブツブツ 」って 感じ で 、 いやいや いや 、別に コールセンター が ある なら ある で いい んだ けど 、それ が どこ に つながって いる の か 、

別の ロックスミス を 探しました 。 グーグルマップ で 出て くる ロックスミスって 、ほとんど が お店 の 写真 が 全然 載って いない こと が 多い んです よね 。 でも 、1 つ 外観 の 写真 付き の ロックスミス の お店 が あって 、

同じ 街 で 場所 も 近くて 、お 、これ は 信用 できる ところ な ので は ！ と 思い 、連絡 して みました 。 そし たら 電話 口 の おばさま は 、こっち の 「どこどこ ストリート の CVS です 」って いう 説明 ですぐに 理解 して くれて 、 「あー 、なん ちゃ ら スーパー の 隣 です ね ？ 」って 感じ で 、 お 、これ は 完全に ローカルの 業者 だ ！ って 安心 できて 、

15 分 から 20 分 で 行きます って こと と で 言って くれた ので 、お 願いしました 。 もう これ で 大丈夫 、ひと 安心 ！ って 感じ で 待って た んです が 、

話 は まだ これ で は 終わら ず でして 。

無事 ローカルの 信用 でき そうな ロックスミス の 業者 を 見つけて 待って いた 私たち です が 、

20 分 以上 待って も 誰 も 来 なくて 、

あれ ーって 。 大丈夫 か なぁ って 話して たら 電話 が かかって きて です ね 、 電話 の 向こう で おじさん が 「 今 CVS の 駐車 場 に 到着 しました が 、 どちら に います か ？ 」って 言われて 、 「いやいや いや 、私達 ずっと CVS の 駐車場 の 車 の ところ で 待ってる んです けど 。」 って 答えて です ね 、

すごく 見晴らし って いう んです か 、見通し ？ その 視界 が 開けて いる 駐車場 だった ので 、ロックスミス の 車 が 来たら 見逃す はず が ない ところ だったんです よね 。 だから どういう こと ？ って 思って たら 、

「あれ 、スーパー B の 隣 の CVS です よね ？ 」って 言わ れ 。 「 いやいや 、 それ 別の CVS です 。 私 達 が 今 いる の は スーパー A の 隣 の CVS です 。」 って なって 。

どういう こと か と いう と 、向こう が 勘違い して 別の 間違った CVS に 行っちゃった みたいだった んです 。 その ロックススミス の おじさん も 「すみません 、すぐ そちら に 行きます ので ！ 」って こと で 来て くれる 事 に なった んです が 、 電話 を 切った すぐ 後 に 旦那さん が ロックスミス の お店 の 方 に 電話 を して 、

「ちょっと ちょっと 、ロケーション の 伝達 が しっかり できて い なかった みたいです よ 。

15 分 から 20 分 って 言わ れた のに 、もう それ 以上 、だいぶ 待って るんです けど 」 みたいな クレーム と いう か 、文句 と いう か 、そういう 電話 を した んです けど 、

その 電話 を して いる 最中 に 、

ロックスミス の バン が 到着 して 、ま ぁ 開けて もらった って いう 流れ なんですけど 。 その 時 ね 、私 は 思った んです よ 。

あれ 、その 間違えて いた 別の CVS から ここ まで 来る のに 、10 分 は かかる はずな のに 、

随分 速い な 、と 。

そう なんです よ 、その 間違えた ロケーション に 到着 しちゃった 人 から の 電話 を 切って 、まだ ３，４ 分 しか 経って なかった のに ロックスミス の バン が もう 来て 、どう 考えて も 速 すぎる んです よ 。

随分 速い なぁ と 思った ものの 、まぁ これ で 車 が 開く ！ って こと で ホッと し まして 、

で 、「 Hola 〜」って 感じ の 若 めの 兄ちゃん が バン から 降りて きて 、「 Hola 〜 コモエスタス ！ 」って 言い ながら 降りて きて 、 肝心の 鍵 は すぐに 開けて くれて よかった んです けど 、

料金 を 払う 時 に 、現金 のみ で クレジットカード は 使えない って 言われて 、 私 たち その 時 、それ を 払う だけ の 現金 を 持って なかった んです よ 。

「カード 使え ない の ？ 」って もう 一 度 聞いた んです が 、やっぱり 使えない って こと で 、 ど しよう 、どう しよう って なった んです が 、 とりあえず 「今 これ だけ しか 現金 が 無い 」って 言って 、本来 の 料金 に 10 ドル 近く 足りなかった んです けど 、 ありったけ の 現金 を 出したら 、

「 いい よ いい よ 、 これ で いい よ ー 」って 言って ディスカウント で OK に して くれた ん です 。 良かった 良かった 。 って なって 一件 落着 、めでたし めでたし

と なった んです が 、が 、が 、

無事 車 の 中 に 入れて 、

気分 を 新たに キャンプ 場 へ レッツゴー ！ と いう こと で

車 を 走らせ はじめた のです が 、そこ で 電話 が また 鳴った んです 。

電話 を 取ったら 、「ロックスミス です が 、あれ ？ 問題 は 解決 しました ？ 鍵 って もう 開きました ？ 」と いう 内容 で 。

「もう 解決 して 車 を 運転 してます 」って 答えて その 電話 は 終わった んです が 、 電話 を 切って から 番号 を 確認 して みたら 、

来る はずだった 間違った CVS の ロケーション に 行っちゃった ロックスミス の おじさん の 番号 だった んです よ 。 ちょっと この 状況 を 上手く 説明 できて いる か わから ないで す が 、

私 達 的に は 、その 間違えた ロケーション に 行っちゃった おじさん が 間違え に 気づいて 正しい 私 たち の 所 に 来て くれて 、 で 鍵 を 開けて くれた と 思って た ん です が 、

実は そう で は なくて 、

別の 担当 者 が いて 、その 人 の 方 が 位置的に 近かった から 、来て 鍵 を 開けて くれたっぽい んです よね 。 その 話した 通り 、 いや ー 随分 速い な 。 と は 思った んです が 、

そこ まで 気 に して い なくて 、

それ より も 車 の 鍵 が 開く って こと で ホッ と して いて 、 別に 速く 来て くれた こと に 越した こと ないですしね 。

だから 何も 考えて い なかった んです けど 。

そう なんです よ 。

多分 そういう こと な んです よ 。

で 、どういう 仕組 に なって いる の か わから ない んです が 、

その 当初 本来 、 私 達 の ところ に 来て くれる はずだった 、 その 場所 を 間違えちゃった オジサン は 、 別の 担当 者 が もう 私 達 の 対応 を したって こと を 知ら なくて 、

現場 に 到着 して も 私 達 が もう いない から 電話 を かけて きたって こと です よね 。

「 あれ 。 もう 解決 しました ？ 」って 。 どういう こと ？ なんで その辺 の コミュニケーション とれて ない の ？ って 感じ じゃ ない です か 。

その オフィス ？ 店舗 って いったら いい んです かね 、は 、コントロール センター 的な 役割 を していて 、 何 台 バン が 存在 する か わから ないで すが 、

エリア 内 に いる バン の 状況 を みて 、対応 を 割り振って いる わけでしょ 。

そう 考える と 、私達 は １つ の 結論 に 達した んです よ 。

私 達 の 所 に 来て 、 鍵 を 開けて くれた Hola 〜って いう お 兄ちゃん は 、 当初 来る はずだった オジサン 担当者 の 仕事 を 私 達 の 案件 を 、 横取り しちゃった んじゃ ない の か な 。 と 。

そう 考える と 辻褄 が あって 、

その オフィス から の コントロール センター から の 指示 じゃ なかった ん じゃない か な ー と いう 雰囲気 が 何となく して いて 、

わから ない で すよ 、

どういう 仕組 な の か 、全然 知ら ない し 、想像 の 範囲 なんで けど 、

おそらく 無線 と か 、オンライン 上 の ポータルサイト みたな やつ で 現状 の 問い合わせ と か 注文 の 動き が 見えて て 、

当初 割り振られた オジサン が 間違った ロケーション に 行っちゃったって こと を 知った その Hola 〜 の お 兄ちゃん が 、 「お 、今 自分 が いる 位置 と 現場 、めっちゃ 近い じゃん 。 ちょっと 先 に 言って 対応 しちゃ お ！ 」って 感じ で 私 たち の 所 に 来て 、対応 しちゃった んじゃないか と 。 で 、です よ 。

お 会計 の とき に クレジットカード が 使えない の も 、ちょっと 今どき おかしい じゃない ですか 。

何 か を 買う 時 とか 買い物 を する 時 なら カード 使えません 、現金 のみ って いう 場合 も ね 、まだまだ 小さい お店 とか ストリート の 屋台 的な お店 なら ある の は わかります が 、 そういう 時 って 、現金 も 持って ない なら 買え ない し 、じゃあ 仕方ない かって みたいな こと に なる と 思う んです けど 、 こういう ロックスミス みたいな シチュエーション だ と 、

現金 無い から じゃあ 結構です 。 頼みません 。 って こと が できない じゃない ですか 。

困っちゃ う でしょ 。

だから カード って 普通 使える と 思う んです よね 。 それ が 、カード 使え ず 現金 のみ ですって 言われて 、 しかも 料金 に 足りる だけの 現金 を こっち が 持って いなかった けど 、いや 、それ で いい よ 。 って 勝手に ディスカウント して それ で OK に して くれて 、

結果 的に 私 達 と しては 良かった んです けど 、

今 と なっては 、現金 で 受け取った その お金 、自分 の ポッケ に 入れた ん ちゃうん ？ って 感じ な んです よね 。

ね 、そう いわ れれば 話 は 合う でしょ 。

でも 、その お兄ちゃん が 対応 している 最中 に 、本来 割り振られた 、対応する はずだった おじちゃん が 来て 、

「おい 、お前 何 やって る んだ ！ 」って 言わ れたら トラブル に なる だろう し 、 もしも 各 バン 、車 に GPS が 付いて て 、問い合わせ を 受けたり 割り振り を 決めてる コントロール センター に 勝手に 横取り しちゃった こと に 気づかれたら 、 それ は それ で トラブル に なる だろう し 、

ちょっと 、本当に どういう 仕組 か わから ない んです けど 、

なん なんでしょう ね 。

一応 案件 は 特定の 担当者 に 割り当ててる けど 、

その他 の 担当者 も 近く に いれば 横取り して よし ！ って こと ？

えー 、そんな こと あります ？ ちょっと ね 、その 担当者 云々 は 謎 が 多い んです けど 、

結果 として は 無事 鍵 も 開き 、で 、ローカル 運営 の 安心 して 頼める 鍵屋 さん を 見つけた という こと で 、よかった よかった 、めでたし めでたし 。 でした 。

ちなみに ね 、これ を 今回 ポッドキャスト で 話そう って 思って 、 その 今回 の ローカルの 鍵屋 さん 、グーグル ・マップ に は 一応 外観 の 写真 が 掲載 されてた って 言った じゃないですか 。 でも 実際 に 目 で 見て 確認 しようって 事 に なって 、 さっき 見 に 行って きた んです よ 。

そ したら 、ちゃんと ありました 。 お店 、存在 して いました 。 これ は 安心 です ね 。

もう ロック アウト さ れる こと が ない ように 気 を つける の が 一番 です が 、もしも 今後 また 困る こと がったら 、ここ に 、この お店 に お願い しよう と 思います 。 ちなみに 、初め に 電話 した 、コールセンター が どこ に ある の かも 教えて くれ なかった 怪しい ロックスミス です が 、

グーグル ・マップ 上 に 掲載 されて いた 場所 に は 、全く 関係 の ない レストラン が あって 、 本当に 、 その 旦那 さん が You Tubeｄ 見たって いう 、 架空の ロケーション を 掲載 して おいて 、 どこ か 全然 違う ロケーション 一 箇所 で 管理 している って うやつ なんだ な と 、 確信 しました 。 怖い で すね ー 怖い で すね ー 。

はい ー 、 と いう こと で ね 、 ロックスミス 話 を 本日 は シェア して みました 。 皆さん に お 伝え したい 教訓 その １ 。 まずは ロック アウト さ れ ない ように 、締め出さ れ る こと が ない ように 、本当に 注意 しましょう ね 。 本当に 我々 、短 期間 に ２ 回 も ロックスミス を 呼んで いる ので 、

ちょっと ね 、気 を 引き締めて 、これ 以上 無駄な お金 を かけ ない ように 、注意深く 生活 したい と 思います 。 そして 教訓 その ２ 。
