皆さん 、いかが お 過ごし です か ？ 何 か 予定 あったり する んです か ね ？ どこ か に 行きます か ？ 緊急 事態 宣言 が 出てる と いう こと で 、家 で のんびり する と いう 方 も 多い んです かね 。

あと は 、アウトドア 系 とか かな ？

皆さん 安全に 楽しい GW を お 過ごし ください ね 。

もう この エピソード を 聴いて いる 時点 で GW 終わる よ ー と いう 方 とか 、終わってる ねんって 方 も 多い かも しれない です けど 、 楽しい GW 、過ごせました か ？ GWと いえば 、皆さん は どんな 思い出 が あります か ？ 私 は です ね ー 、 そう だ な 、

パッと 思いつく の は 、 友達 と の 旅行 かな ー 、

北海道 に 行った の と 、あと は タイ に も ゴールデンウィーク を 使って 行った の を 覚えて います 。 あれ 、 GW だった よ ね 、確か 。

もしかすると お盆 だった かも 。 記憶 が や ばい です 。

たぶん GW 。

あと は 、あれ ね 、短大 に 入って すぐ の GW で 、仲良く なった 友達 と 早速 遊んだ 記憶 が あります 。 伊豆 三 津 シーパラダイス に みんな で 行った なぁ 。

超 ローカルな 観光 地 の 名前 を 言って すみません 。 あれ 、これ も GW だった よ ね 。 たぶん 。

やっぱり 連休 と いう だけ で ワクワク します ね 。 こちら アメリカ は GW と いう の は ない ので 、

至って 普通の 1 週間 です 。 特別 でも なんでもない です ね 。 最近 ネット ニュース を 見て たら 、どうやら 中国 に も GW ある らしい です ね 。

世界 の 他 の 国 も GW あったり する んです か ね 。

この 内容 、ずっと 前 に も お 話し した こと が ある んです よ 。

エピソード 30 いく つ 。 32 とか だった と 思います 。 4989 ヘビーリスナー の 方 は 、あれ 、なんか 聞いた こと ある 内容 だ なっと 思う と 思います が ご 了承 ください 。 アメリカ の スーパー の レジ って 、 スーパー に よって も お 会計 の スタイル って 違う んです が 、 一般 的な チェーン 店 の スーパー の レジ って 、 レジ の ところ に ベルトコンベア の ような 、あれ なんて 呼べば いい の か わから ないで す けど 、

自動 で 動く コンベア が あって 、

その 先 に キャッシャー の 人 が いて 、

お客さん は 、自分 の 番 に なる と カゴ や カート から お会計 する 商品 を その コンベア の ところ に 全部 置きます 。 カート の 時 だけ じゃ ないで す よ 、カゴ を 使って いる 時 も です 。

そう 、商品 を 一 度 全部 出さ なきゃ ならない んです よ 。

で 、商品 が キャッシャー の 人 の ところ まで 流れて いって 、

キャッシャー の 人 が バーコード を ピッ て やって お会計 して くって いう 流れ です 。

この 買う 商品 を 全部 一 度 コンベア の ところ に 置くって いう 作業 が 、本当に 面倒な んです よね 。 で 、慣れ ない んです 。 未 だに 。

もう 何 年 住んで る のって 話 です けど 。 日本 で は 見ない スタイル な ので 、これ は 日本 と アメリカ で 違う ところ だ なって 思います ね 。 日本 は 、スーパー の カゴ 、バスケット です ね 、を レジ の ところ に 置いて 、

キャッシャー の 人 は カゴ から 直接 商品 を 取って スキャン する って いう スタイル です よね 。 その後 の 動き って 、ま ぁ 日本 も スーパー に よって 違って 、 自分 で 袋 詰め する お 店 は キャッシャー の 人 が 空 の カゴ を 横 に 置いて おいて 、

スキャン した 後 の 商品 を 空 の カゴ に 入れて いって 、

お 金 を 払った 後 は 、お客さん が 袋詰め 専用 の スペース に 行って 自分 で 袋 に 入れる って いう の が 普通 かな 。 どう な んだろ 、最近 は 店員 さん が 袋 詰め して くれる スーパー も 多い んですかね 。

ちょっと 私 の 記憶 が 少し 前 の 記憶 な のであれ です けど 。

レジ も です が 、

そもそも ショッピングカート の 使い方 から して アメリカ と 日本 は 違います 。 アメリカ は カート に そのまま 、なんでも 大きな 商品 も 小さな 商品 も 入れて いく けど 、

日本 は カート を 使う と しても 、カート の 中 に 更に カゴ を おいて 、その カゴ に 買う もの 入れて いきます よね 。 で 、レジ で は その カゴ を キャッシャー の 人 の ところ に おいて お会計 して もらう って 感じ で 。 アメリカ の レジ は 、

その カート の 中 に ある 商品 を コンベア に 全部 置く の が 、 面倒って いう の も あります けど 、 毎回 どう 動けば いい の か わから なくて 、ひとり で レジ の ところ で あたふた しちゃう んです よ 。

未 だに 。

ほんと 、何 年 いる のって 感じ な んです けど 、 アメリカ や 、アメリカの ように ベルトコンベア が ある レジ が 一般的だ よっと いう 地域 に 住んでいる 皆さん は カート から 商品 を コンベア に 置く 時 、どのように 置いてます か ？ どのように 置いて るって いう か 、どのように 動いてます かって 聞いた 方が いい の か な 。 今 まで そんな こと 考えた こと が ない って 人 が ほとんど な の か な 、もし かして 。 まず カート で レジ の ところ に 行く じゃないですか 、

で 、商品 を カート から 出す 時 、カート の 後ろ に 立つ 派 です か ？ それとも カート の 前 に 立つ 派 です か ？

なんか どっち に 立った と して も 、アメリカ の スーパー の カート って 大きい ので 、 結局 届か なくて カート の 周り を ウロウロ し ながら 商品 を 取るって 感じ に なっちゃう んですけど 、 あれ 、みんな そう なら ない の か なぁ 。

もし かして 、カート に 入れる 時 から 取り出し やすい 位置 に 置く と か 気 を つけてる んです か ね ？

私 は あまり 決めて ない んです が 、

どちら か と いう と 、自分 が カート の 前 側 に 立つ 派 な んですけど 、

商品 を コンベア の ところ に 出し 終わった って なったら 、支払い の ため に もう 少し 前 に 進む と 思う んです が 、 その 時 も 結構 あたふた する こと が 多くて 、

もしも カート の 前 側 に に 立って 商品 を 出して たら 、 支払い の 時 に は 逆に 一 度 カート を 自分 より も 前 に 通さ なくちゃ で 、

時々 その 各 レジ の 列 の 通路 の 幅 が 狭い こと が あって 、

カート と レジ に 挟まれて う う う うって なり ながら カート を 押して ふ ぅ 。 みたいな 。

なんか ひと り で 変な 動き しちゃう んです よね 。

いつまで 経って も スマートに 立ち回る こと が でき ない んです よ 。

あと は 、買う もの が 少ない 時 とか は カート で は なくて カゴ を 持って 買い物 する んです けど 、

さっき 話した ように カゴ に 商品 を 入れ ながら 買い物 してた 場合 でも 、

カゴ から 商品 を 出して ベルトコンベア に 置く んです が 、

空 に なった カゴ を 何 処 に 置けば いい の か が 、いつまで 経って も 不明 な まま です 。

今 私 が 思って いる 正解 は 、

コンベア が 始まる ところ の 床 に 重ねて 置いて いくって こと なんですけど 、

私 、合ってます か ？ だいたい ね 、この スタイル で 、みんな そう して いる から 私 も 見様見真似 で 今 まで そうして きて いる んです けど 、

時々 ね 、カゴ を 置ける スペース が 全然 無い こと が ある んです よ 。

そういう 時 って どう すれば いい んです か ね ？ 空 の カゴ を 持った まま お 会計 して 、空 の カゴ は お店 の 入り口 に また 戻せば いい んでしょうか 。

空 の カゴ を 持った まま ウロウロ している こと が 多く あります 。 ま 、レジ の 人 に 普通に 聞けば いい の か 。

なんか でも さ 、日本 だ と もう その辺 は システマティック に 、ここ に カゴ を 置く ！ みたいな の が 何 処 の スーパー に 行って も わかりやすく なって て 、

そこ で 戸惑う こと が ない じゃない で すか 、

そんな こと を 店員 を して て も 聞か れる こと が ないって いう か 。 だから 店員 さん に 聞くって なんか 、そんな こと を いちいち 聞いて も ね って いう 。 カゴ 持った 人 みん な が 聞いて たら 店員 さん 大変 じゃ ん ね 。

いや 、本当に 謎 。

カゴ 派 の 皆さん 、空 に なった カゴ 、どうして いる か 教えて ください 。

前 まで は 、自分 が お会計 している 時 に レジ から 入り口 が 近かったり とか 、カゴ が 重ねて ある 置き場 が 見える ところ に あったら 、

さ さっと 小走り で そこ に カゴ を 置き に 行って た んです が 、

今 は コロナ の あれ が ある ので 、お店 に よって は 使用済み の カゴ と 消毒済み の カゴ を 分けて いる ところ も ある だろう し 、そう 思う と 勝手に 置けない しって ね 、思います よね 。 で 、最近 更に 私 を 混乱 して いる の は 、

その 従来 の コンベアシステム の スーパー でも 、カゴ を 持って たら 、

「あ 、そのまま いい です よ 」って 言われて 、店員さん が カゴ の まま 受け取って くれて 、日本 みたいに カゴから 直接 取り出して スキャンして くれる ケース が 出てきたんです よ 。 連続 で 2 回 それ を 経験 して 、

え 、いい の ？ って なって 。 それ なら みんな 何 処 の スーパー も そうして くれ よって ね 。 思います よ ね 。 と いう か 、私 が 勝手に カゴ の 場合 も 商品 を コンベア に 出さ なきゃ だめ って 思って る だけ だったら どう しよう 。 え 、そう です よね 。

皆さん 、カゴ から も 一 度 全部 商品 出してます よね ？ 本当に レジ 、複雑 やわ ぁ 。

前 に ね 、この トピック を 話した 時 も 同じ こと 言った と 思う んです が 、

すべて の スーパー が 、この カート から 自分 で 出さ なきゃ だめ よ スタイル で は ない んです よね 。

ベルトコンベア が 無い スーパー も あって 、その 場合 は 、

店員 さん の 横 に カゴ を 置けば 、それ で OK な んです よ 。 楽 です よ ね 。

例えば トレジョ 、トレーダージョーズ って 人気 の オシャレスーパー が ある んです けど 、トレジョ は その スタイル です ね 。 カート で 買い物 して いた と して も 、カート を そのまま 店員 さん が 受け取って くれます 。 トレジョ 以外 でも 、私 の 観察 の 結果 、

少し 高めの 、高級 思考 の スーパー は コンベア で はなくて 、カゴ の まま 、カート の まま で OK って こと が 多い と 思います 。 ま ぁね 、我が家 は 基本 は 安い スーパー を 主に 利用 している ので 、

まだまだ 私 の レジ で の あたふた は 続く と 思います 。 でも ね 、お客さん が コンベア に 並べる スタイル は 、やっぱり どう 考えて も 効率 が 悪い と 思う んです よね 。

どう 思います ？ あと は 、カート の 大きさ が 小さな サイズ も あれば いい のに って 思います 。 大量に 買う 人 も ね 、アメリカ は たくさん いる ので 、大きな カート も 必要だ と 思います が 、 小さな カート も あれば それ で 事 足りる人 は すごく 買い物 が し やすく なる と 思う ん です よ ね ー 。
