LE GARÇON ET LES ORTIES
A Boy was gathering berries from a hedge when his hand was stung by a Nettle.
كان صبي يجمع التوت من السياج عندما لسعته نبات القراص في يده.
Un garçon cueillait des baies dans une haie lorsque sa main a été piquée par une ortie.
Smarting with the pain, he ran to tell his mother, and said to her between his sobs, "I only touched it ever so lightly, mother."
تألم من الألم، فركض ليخبر والدته، وقال لها بين نشيجه: "لقد لمستها بخفة شديدة يا أمي".
La douleur est vive, il court prévenir sa mère et lui dit, entre deux sanglots : "Je ne l'ai touchée que très légèrement, maman".
"That's just why you got stung, my son," she said; "if you had grasped it firmly, it wouldn't have hurt you in the least."
"هذا هو السبب الذي جعلك تُلدغ، يا بني"، قالت، "لو كنت أمسكت بها بقوة، لما كانت لتؤذيك على الإطلاق".
"C'est justement pour cela que tu as été piqué, mon fils, dit-elle ; si tu l'avais saisi fermement, il ne t'aurait pas fait le moindre mal.
