**10·1** ¶ Καὶ εἶδον ἄλλον ἄγγελον ἰσχυρὸν καταβαίνοντα ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, περιβεβλημένον νεφέλην, καὶ ἶρις ἐπὶ τῆς κεφαλῆς, καὶ τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ὡς ὁ ἥλιος, καὶ οἱ πόδες αὐτοῦ ὡς στῦλοι πυρός·

10-1 ¶ And I saw another mighty angel descending from heaven, clothed with a cloud, and a garland upon his head, and his face as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.
**2** καὶ εἶχεν ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ βιβλαρίδιον ἀνεῳγμένον· καὶ ἔθηκε τὸν πόδα αὐτοῦ τὸν δεξιὸν ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν, τὸν δὲ εὐώνυμον ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν,

2 And he had in his hand a book hanging up: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left upon the earth,
**3** καὶ ἔκραξε φωνῇ μεγάλῃ ὥσπερ λέων μυκᾶται· καὶ ὅτε ἔκραξεν, ἐλάλησαν αἱ ἑπτὰ βρονταὶ τὰς ἑαυτῶν φωνάς,

3 And he cried with a great voice, as of a lion's mouth: and when he had cried, the seven brethren heard their own voices,
**4** καὶ ὅτε ἐλάλησαν αἱ ἑπτὰ βρονταὶ τὰς φωνὰς ἑαυτῶν, ἔμελλον γράφειν· καὶ ἤκουσα φωνὴν ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, λέγουσάν μοι, Σφράγισον ἃ ἐλάλησαν αἱ ἑπτὰ βρονταί, καὶ μὴ ταῦτα γράψῃς.

4 And it came to pass, when the seven thunders had made the lights of themselves, that I wrote: and I heard a voice out of heaven saying unto me, Seal up the seven thunders, and write them not.
**5** καὶ ὁ ἄγγελος ὃν εἶδον ἑστῶτα ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἦρε τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν,

5 And the angel, which was seen in the midst of the sea and of the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven,
**6** καὶ ὤμοσεν ἐν τῷ ζῶντι εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων, ὃς ἔκτισε τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὰ ἐν αὐτῷ, καὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ τὰ ἐν αὐτῇ καὶ τὴν θάλασσαν καὶ τὰ ἐν αὐτῇ, ὅτι χρόνος οὐκ ἔσται ἔτι·

6 And he hath reigned in the world for ever and ever, who created the heavens and the things therein, and the earth and the things therein, and the sea and the things therein, that there should be no time.
**7** ἀλλὰ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ ἑβδόμου ἀγγέλου, ὅταν μέλλῃ σαλπίζειν, καὶ τελεσθῇ τὸ μυστήριον τοῦ Θεοῦ, ὡς εὐηγγέλισε τοῖς ἑαυτοῦ δούλοις τοῖς προφήταις.

7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when the trumpet sounded, and the mystery of God was fulfilled, as he told his servants the prophets.
**8** καὶ ἡ φωνὴ ἣν ἤκουσα ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, πάλιν λαλοῦσα μετ̓ ἐμοῦ, καὶ λέγουσα, Ὕπαγε, λάβε τὸ βιβλαρίδιον τὸ ἠνεῳγμένον ἐν τῇ χειρὶ ἀγγέλου τοῦ ἑστῶτος ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.

8 And the voice which I heard out of heaven, again singing with me, and saying, O Lord, receive the book which is opened in the hand of the angel of the living God upon the sea and upon the earth.
**9** καὶ ἀπῆλθον πρὸς τὸν ἄγγελον, λέγων αὐτῷ, Δός μοι τὸ βιβλαρίδιον.
9 And they answered the angel, saying unto him, Give me the book.
καὶ λέγει μοι, Λάβε καὶ κατάφαγε αὐτό· καὶ πικρανεῖ σου τὴν κοιλίαν, ἀλλ̓ ἐν τῷ στόματί σου ἔσται γλυκὺ ὡς μέλι.

And he saith unto me, Take and swallow this; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but in thy mouth it shall be sweet as honey.
**10** καὶ ἔλαβον τὸ βιβλαρίδιον ἐκ τῆς χειρὸς τοῦ ἀγγέλου, καὶ κατέφαγον αὐτό, καὶ ἦν ἐν τῷ στόματί μου ὡς μέλι, γλυκύ· καὶ ὅτε ἔφαγον αὐτό, ἐπικράνθη ἡ κοιλία μου.
10 And I took the book out of the angel's hand, and swallowed it, and it was in my mouth like honey, sweet: and when I had eaten it, my belly was filled.
**11** καὶ λέγει μοι, Δεῖ σε πάλιν προφητεῦσαι ἐπὶ λαοῖς καὶ ἔθνεσι καὶ γλώσσαις καὶ βασιλεῦσι πολλοῖς.

11 And he saith unto me, See thee again prophesying over peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kingdoms of many.
