PART 3.2 Caleb Interview — Learn English with Camille
Camille: Do you have a dream job or dreams for your future as well?
Caleb: Yeah. I would… man, that's like a great question, hmm, yeah, I would say in the future I would love to see a lot of collaboration in writing music. I would love to be able to facilitate that, bringing people together that have a same interest, and same heart and same they don't even have to write the same, but it's like finding like, we have the same heartbeat for the same thing, yeah, and creating that space for people to come together, yeah, and just be together, and see what happens you know. One thing that I love, and a lot of people I think are scared of is silence. Like people are scared of just sitting still, but if we don't have silence then, like if we like if we don't have silence, then nothing can be created, you know what I'm saying? Like in the silence is where things are created, and…
Camille: That's good.
Caleb: And so, like just creating that space for people. I would love to maybe start like a collective of artists of musicians, and writers and form something that impacts a generation, you know.
Camille: That's amazing.
Caleb: Something that hits deeper. We're not just writing just to write but something that has meaning, and that something that has like depth, not just something that's surface level. And writing something that will impact people's hearts, and impacts their minds, um, and impacts their everyday life. And I would love to see that happen. I don't know what that would look like. I don't know what steps that means to take, but that's something that I definitely know is possible. Because I know so many people who like want to write, and they just don't want to write by themselves, you know.
Camille: Yeah, totally.
Caleb: Or they don't want to do things by themselves and so it's like it's better to come together as family and do it together and run together then do it by yourself anyway. Um, I would love to just do more, I don't know just do more events, where it brings people together for one common cause, and, um, bring people into a space where that maybe they would never think about coming to. Um, whether that's a coffee shop, and doing music together, or if that's in a park, or you know, uh, abandoned warehouse, you know whatever that may look, something that's just different than what most people would think, and bringing people into that space, and seeing what could happen. I would love to help facilitate that more.
